I have a ASUS RT-BE96U and can’t get any of my Sonos to connect to the router. I’ve turned off Smart connect, factory reset, did everything with the chat services suggested. I can’t be the only one with this issue. If anyone figures it out, please share.

Found a work around.

Go to asusrouter.com and go to wireless>MLO and enable. This is going to create two wireless networks. One will be SSID and SSID-IoT. You will than have to connect to the SSID-IoT and add your Sonos speakers to this Network. The SSID-IoT is a legacy encryption where your regular network is WiFi 7 encryption. My Sonos are the only thing that conflicts with the encryption on this router. This should work for any ASUS BE router like the GT-BE98. Hopefully Sonos push’s a software update to fix this.

Search here for Asus and you may find some help.

If the forum search fails try using an external search engine. Add this as a part of the search:

I’ve searched and can’t find a fix. This router is pretty new.
