Is it possible to play one sonos move at a time

I have two Sonos Move speakers that are paired. Is it possible to play music from only one speaker without unpairing?

When I unpair them, sometimes I have difficulty re-pairing them, so I would prefer to not have to unpair but be able to play one speaker at a time.

The reason for this is at times I take one speaker to my backyard and leave the other in the house. But the one in the house is also playing which at times is disturbs those sleeping or watching tv.

If I hit the power button on one speaker it turns both speakers off

No, this isn’t possible while they are still a stereo pair. But you could try moving the Balance setting all the way to the left (or right) so the audio will only play out of one speaker when you take the one speaker to the backyard.

Thank you that worked
