Using USA device in India

Moving from USA to India with my Sonos Arc, Gen3 and Era 100. India has 220v power compared to 110v in USA. All of these devices specification says 100-240v. Does that mean that the US device will work just fine in India without a step down converter? Anyone in the community who has done that?

They will work fine as long as they get power per the spec; in parts of India, the mains voltages aren’t stable, so you have to deal with that using an online inverter. I credit mine for no Sonos failures since 2011.

Yes. Although I’ve done it the other way, using my USA devices in India. Merely required, as memory serves, a plug changer, not a converter.

Thank you!

@Airgetlam I am going to use my USA device in India as well.

@Kumar Are you saying that you have used USA Sonos device in India since 2011?

The only difference between a USA ‘device’ and any other country is the power cable/plug. The actual speaker is the same.

Yes, 12 of them bought from Amazon USA in 2011-14, and delivered to my home in India in ten days.
