AMP and Sonance VP66TL (pair)

Has anyone had any issues with Sonance VP66 TL (thinline) speakers on AMP running at higher volumes.  Distortion, popping/cracking sounds.  We’ve isolated the speakers (and Sonance provided a new set), wiring and AMP, and all seem to function fine independently, but in combination, the problem persists.

Sonance and Sonos both are saying products should work fine together.  I have other rooms running AMP with other sonance speakers (same family, just not thinline) with no issues

We users can’t see the Sonos internal data so all you can do is call Support and ask them to look at your diagnostics.

You might submit several ahead of the call, some from the working system and some from the buggy one. I’d send ones that are below the problem threshold and ones above it. Keep track of the diagnostic ID numbers and which one is which condition.

Try swapping the Amps in the two rooms.

Then try swapping then speakers in both rooms.

If the sound problems move you have found the bad component.

If the sound problem doesn’t move it is your wiring.

Yeah, that’s what I meant by we’ve isolated everything.  New pair of speakers.  Switched AMPS and Switched wiring, same problem persists.
