Unfortunately your TV is likely too old to support 5.1 pass through. You either need to get a new TV (ideally equipped with HDMI eARC) or add an eARC adapter like the HDFury Arcana that will allow any external media device to bypass your TV and send 5.1 audio directly to the Arc.
