I have connected a new Roam to my system. I her no sound from it whatsoever. There is connection because I can use the roam to pause and play. I have also tried to connect with bluetooth instead, but it was still silent. Anyone with any ideas? 

Have you called Sonos Support directly to discuss it? Have you checked to see if the speaker is muted?

When you speak directly to the phone folks, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.
