Would the addition of a Sonos amp to my current system provide an improvement in sound quality to justify the purchase?

I currently have an Arc, gen 3 sub and 2 x Era 300s as surrounds, LG Oled 55” tv connected to Arc via Earc

If my reply is positive is the installation relatively easy?

i am aware that you can add further item’s and speakers etc but that doesn’t concern me at present except for maybe a turntable at a later date.

Thank you

Martin

No, AMP cannot be added to your current SONOS surround setup. You could add AMP and a set of passive 3rd party speakers as another SONOS ‘Room’.

Note that AMP does not support ATMOS.

Goodness of sound is very personal. Only you know what sounds “best” (to you).

In order to support a turntable, you’ll need to add a SONOS unit that supports Line-In. When used as surrounds, Line-In is disabled on your 300’s.

And you should know ahead what it is that you are looking for in terms of an improved sound, else this can be a rabbit hole.
