What is a simple remote to control the volume of my Sonos Home Theater on my Roku TV without having to use my phone ?

Hello,Is there a way to get my Samsung TV to work with Play 1 & 3 speakers wireless without adding a sound bar? I have no room for one.  Thank you  

I have 7 in ceiling speakers in my theater room connected to my receiver. When i want to play my streaming music with my SONOS App, i need to turn the receiver on and switch it to the correct output in order to use the App on my phone. What option do i have regarding playing my speakers with my mobile app without having to manually turning on receiver?  

Hello, here is my setup: x1 Beam over Wifix2 One SL over Wifi + Ethernet I want my One SLs to only use Ethernet. Last week, I did put my One SLs over Ethernet and disabled Wi-Fi from both of them with the SONOS app. Since then, the surround sound stopped working (it is not a TV problem, I tested with a few SONOS radio stations).  It’s only the surround that doesn’t work though, because I can still use the controls on them, increasing/decreasing volume etc, it controls the whole setup. On the app they are not displaying any error. Also, sometimes the status light stays green. I read that it means it is muted but increasing the volume from the app itself or from any of the One SL doesn’t change anything. I tried, turning them off and on a few times. I also removed them from the app and did re-set them up. Nothing works, except when I turn the Wifi back on, everything goes back to normal. Didn’t find a similar problem over the internet. What could be the problem? Thank you,Loris.

My system can't be found in app and have difficulty to restore and find system again.  Started with my boost that wouldn't update. (Version 15.1)  Now I've spent a long time getting it up and running again, but that could indicate a too quick update.  I hope for my sake and that of sonos fans that sonos rushes an update that fixes the bug!

Considering the above for a living room.  I understand the trueplay won’t be available for the 3rd party speakers as mains, BUT… will trueplay be available for the subs and the One’s?Thanks.. 

How do I add multiple amps 

I’ve been troubleshooting some issues with my Sonos set-up after the introduction of a new router from my ISP provider. I have a Sonos SL One in a detached garage and one in an attached garage.  Both run wireless.  I do not have them set up as stereo pair.  One shows WM: 0 and the other has WM: 1. I have many other devices connected by Ethernet (amps, Sonos One, etc.) but not these two speakers. I’m confused why one of these would show WM 1 and the other WM 0.  Shouldn’t they be the same?Both have Wifi enabled if that matters. Thank you.

Hello all,The following problem: I bought a refurbished Playbar via the Sonos Store and set it up in the living room with 2 Sonos One (Gen 1) as surrounds. Everything has worked so far. However, as soon as I watch normal TV or a movie in Dolby Digital 2.0 or 5.1, I clearly hear sound dropouts/ stuttering in both Surround Ones. The Sonos App shows Dolby Digital 2.0 or 5.1. Our current system consists of a Beam and 2 x one sl in the living room, 2 x play 1s in the kitchen. I’ve tried Adding a play 3 with no success, the play 3 resets and adds to the system but disconnects from the WiFi. I’ve tried adding using a Ethernet cable but this hasn’t worked.

I’m moving into a new house in a few months and am finally at a point where I can finish my main room video / audio setup. Here is what I have currently:A 4K compatible TVan all-in-one region free Blu-ray / DVD / HDCD player, hooked up to the TV Via HDMIA second generation play 5 next to the tvA beam paired with the television. Streaming video and the blu ray player play through the tv and the beam (play 5 muted)music - both streaming and the cd player- plays through the paired play:5 and the beam.  when we movie the plan is this:Buy the mini subbuy two one SLs as rear channel surrounds buy a turntable and amp it through the play:5play music in surround (5+1s + beam + sub), playable from streaming, the turntable, and CDPlay TV in surround (same setup as above, minus the play5). so, the question: is there anything I am missing here or anything that won’t work in the new setup? Hello,I’ve moved to a Nest Wifi Pro mesh network. Whereas I previously didn't have any issues with the earlier Nest mesh network, I can't seem to connect my speakers wirelessly using the S2 mobile app. From the research I have done, it seems like Sonos don't like networks where the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands aren't split, like with the Nest Pro. My current solution is to use the controller app on a Windows PC, and wire the speakers. I have gotten rid of my Sonos Bridge a long time ago, but a bridge which could be accessed wirelessly to talk to wired speakers would also have been a good solution I guess. Any way, it would be nice if the setup process could be changed so the speakers can connect to a wireless networks where the bands have not been split.

Error 701 - podcasts I cannot currently play podcasts on Sonos. I am getting error 701.It is via the S1 app and speaker system… Interestingly, I note that “podcasts and shows” no longer appears in the search bar on the S2 app. (I have a mix of S1 and S2 units). is anyone else struggling with Podcasts?

Hello just found a brand new zoneplayer 120 in the storage.I tried to set.. after doing rhe set-up procedure it said that theres an update.Bit it always failed and have error code 11.What i should i do? 

I am so confused at this point.  I have a beam connected to the tv and a new turntable with preamp. I also have a Sonos one in another room and am likely to move it and add another one to create surround in living room. I also have two echo dots in other rooms.  I want to play the turntable but don’t want to buy bookshelf speakers. I have a small apartment so wanting to make the best with small options and want to integrate what I have.  So, I assume I need the sonos amp? If I buy a port the I’d also have to buy a separate amp?  Help!! 

Strange issue.I have a three zone Gen 1 Sonos system, Sonos .I’m moving my play 5 from the kitchen to the room next to my bedroom.  When I start music on the play 5 the Sonos Connect in the bedroom cuts out and then disappears.If I move the play 5 back to the kitchen it is OK and both Play 5 and Sonos Connect work.  If I move the Play 5 back to the spare bedroom next to the main bedroom then the Sonos Connect drops out again and disappears from the zone list.The Sonos Connect is wired to the network, the Play 5 is wireless.Any ideas?Is it a proximity issue as the bedrooms are next to each other?

Hello to all, recently, listenings to an internet radio via SONOS , the audio stops by itself.It is not due to the internet radio connection (Tune in).The system is near the modem (very good wi fi connection). It happens after more than 1 hour of no stop listening . Any clue?

… The Android app is a real disaster! But how can SONOS claim to be at the top of the range with such a... How to say... thing? Horror ? Application absurdity?This app crashes randomly! It's a horror when it has to be used! My account is sometimes lost! My Spotify account link too. Have to init again all my SONOS system for the Xth time! And now, I can't even find my 2 One SLs anymore... All my equipment works without any problem with my wifi access point (the point is a few meters away) EXCEPT SONOS which sometimes crashes! And fed up with the support that looks for quirky reasons but never questions their equipment when the bug is there: the bug is SONOS! 😡Sorry for the angry side of the message but there, fed up!

I updated app yesterday and i have some problems : my “Beam2+2xOneSL” disappear except my 2 SONOS Roam. I needed to reset my “Beam2+2xOneSL”. Now I have a new problem 😂 :I see my Beam+2xOneSL (= Home Theater) in the App but not my 2 SONOS Roam… I keep my 2 SONOS Roam ON and kill the app. I restart the app : I see my 2 SONOS Roam but not my Beam+2xOneSL anymore 🤣 I turn OFF my 2 SONOS Roam and… My Beam+2xOneSL is back and my 2 SONOS Roam disappear If I turn ON my 2 SONOS Roam, they don't appear in the appLove this app!Edit 1:When my “Beam2+2xOneSL” is in the app, if I try to add new devices, the app cannot find my 2 SONOS Roams 🙄…And When my 2 SONOS Roams are in the app, if I try to add new devices, the app cannot find my “Beam2+2xOneSL” 😡Edit 2:All my SONOS devices are on the same network (and same simple wifi network). Moderator edit: Combined posts

I have files WAV files on my hard drive that is on my desktop computer or phone and I want to listen through my Sonos system.  Is that possible?  I also get emails with music that I can stream on my computer and would like to be able to listen through our Sonos system.  I work in the music business and am sent music that is not commercially available.
