Hello Brain Trust,I physically replaced the Roam I had in my kitchen with a One and in the app I switched the room for the Roam from “Kitchen” to “Sonos Roam”.My issue is every day or two my Roam reverts back to the old room “Kitchen”.I tried removing the device, re-adding it to my system, and I even factory reset the device with no luck.Has anyone else had this issue or can someone provide guidance on how I can prevent my Roam from reverting back to it’s old room name?Thanks,AJ

Hi. I have not encountered this problem before.Amazon music works but there is no sound coming from the TV.Fortunately I don't have many problems with my Arc soundbar but when I do I usually get no sound at all not some sound depending on what source is selected! Any idea why this is happening? Before anyone says, no the mute isn't on 😋 Cheers 🍻 

I received my Sonos Amp and I plugged my turntable and a TCL TV (via HDMI ARC). I have no problem listening to music but not with TV. I syncronized TV in the app and it seems everything was ok, but It doesn´t sound. Anybody has had teh same problem?

I have 3 Sonos products - Play 1, Move and Arc.  My wifi speed is 300+mbps, with Linksys mesh system.When I launch the Sonos app on my iPhone it’s a lottery as to whether I get the “Unable to connect ...” or if I’m lucky, any permutation of one, two or all three of the above units.  I then waste time rebooting my router and switching off and on the respective units with varying degrees of success until eventually it works.I’ve spent hours reading many topics here on this subject and like many other users I’m increasingly frustrated by having paid a small fortune for these units, (which are great when they work properly) the connectivity is very unreliable.  My wifi doesn’t have any problem in connecting with any of the several other wireless devices in my house so to my albeit technically simple mind this must be a Sonos problem.  Is there any proven solution and if not, why not since it’s been an issue for several years?

My Sonos S1 goes offline a lot. Even when wifi still working fine.  But the worst thing about it is that if I’m listening to an audio file on Audible, for instance, when Sonos goes back online the book goes all the way back to the very BEGINNING of the book. It’s infuriating. Especially as there is no way to know where you were which makes you manually search for it.  Anyone else experienced this before? Thank you so much in advance! kind regards,

I am trying to connect my LG OLED television to the Sonos Amp via the HDMI Arc.  I can’t get the Sonos to recognize the TV audio out via the HDMI.  I’ve been on with support from both Sonos and LG. I’ve also used the optical out adapter to HDMI without success.  Sonos sent me a new Amp with same issue so it’s not an Amp issue.  I’ve used different HDMI cables.  My Tv and Amp are about 15 feet apart.  Today the LG support told me the HDMI cable can’t be longer than 3 feet.  This seems like bunk to me but I have not had a chance to try a different device using a short cable.  Anyone know if this is an accurate statement?  If it is, is there a workaround?

I have a sonos amp thats hooked up to in wall speakers and a tv in my basement.  I use spotify as well to play music on them occasionally.  Whenever I choose to play music in the basement and then stop it and leave, it repeatedly turns back on and starts playing the music I was playing again and again at random.  it could be every 5 minutes or in the middle of the night.  How do I fix this?  I’ve closed the sonos app many times, tried only to use spotify, reboot my phone, reboot the amp (I don’t want to do this as a standard fix), and I don’t even have a really reliable fix.  How do I stop this from happening?

Sonos account online but showing no products registered.Sonos s1 app showing Account details as ' Sign in' but I have already signed in but it doesn't register login details.Mobile connects to Connect amp but cannot update product therefore cannot use it. Sonos chat cannot fix problem. Thanks

Hi,I searched around, and googled the error messages I have, but to no avail.  Perhaps as this is an older device, the answers are harder to find.  Anyway, see if anyone can help…I loaned my Play:1 to a friend, which they never used, but now I have it back, it's failing to link to my account.I did a hardware reset in the end. Still setup failed suggesting I use ethernet instead. So switched to ethernet, it finds the speaker, does its chime "PIN" okay, but then at "Linking your Play:1 to your account", it fails "There was a problem linking your Play:1 to your account", no reason or details given for fail.So ultimately I have "Your Play:1 (Den) has been added. Audio playback will be available once this product is updated and linked to your account", and the Play:1 is shown in System/Products as "Not registered".I tried online support, but the bot just wasted my time and couldn’t connect me to anyone.Online at sonos.com, my Sonos account shows the Play:1 as registered, *with today’s date*

There are 4 Sonos devices in my house; two in the living room, one in my office, and one that my partner owns in the bedroom. The two in the lounge are a stereo pair, the others are single speakers.Somehow the one in the office and the two in the lounge have become connected, and show as “Office + 1” when I play via Spotify Connect. I don't want that- I want to have them separate.So I opened the Sonos app, and tried navigating to groups to see if I could separate them somehow. However, when I do this, it asks me for the password to my partner’s Sonos account- one I don't have, because she's away on business at the moment.So, I turned her speaker off and tried again. It now says “Groups is only available for systems with three or more rooms”, so I can't change it.I don't want to add hers to a group, I just want to ungroup the ones I own. I should be able to do that without needing two passwords. What am I doing wrong here? Does anyone know how I can fix this without resetting the entire

 I have in ceiling wiring in Kitchen (marked in Yellow) . Red is the TV. Green dots are the in wall wiring ( I do not have to us if not needed)All the wiring is dropped in my media room upstairs. For TV, I have 2 ethernet cables. One for internet and another goes to the media room. I think it is to have a HDMI over Cat6 (or so I think)Can I get a Sonos Arc for the TV. And a Sonos Amp for the in ceiling speakers in the kitchen and play the same sound from the TV in the kitchen (Not as surround rear but as 2 stereo speakers)? The idea is to watch TV and dont have to raise the volume too high to be able to hear in the kitchen. Would there be any lag? How can I connect the AMP to the TV? Will the AMP connect to Sonos Arc? What is the good set up for what I am trying to accomplish?

I have used Sonos for several years on Windows 10 have have just upgraded to windows 11 and everything has gone pear shaped I have tried several things but Sonos will not log on to my system as a result I have had to disconnect my Sonos products a sub a music bar and a Sonos one in the past it was simple to connect but some thing has changed please please upgrade so it will interstate with 11

After switching on my speakers my app (S2) says that there is an error with my WiFi and let's fix it. I spend about 10 minutes trying to rectify this for nothing cause it still unable to find my products. Tells me to restart my broadband, turn off and on my products, press the two buttons on the device yet still not find anything. Everyday I go through this and now enough is enough. I was looking at getting the arc and sub but due to these using the app I'm put off getting them for this reason.

Hi,the provider of my wi-fi connection changed the router and now, with a new one, I can’t connect all of my 3 sonos one. WHen I try to connect, after combining the mobile phone with the stereo, it appears that caption: we had a problem during the connection of Sonos one to the wi-fi. How can I sort it out?I did everything the assistance guide suggest but I can’t sort the issue out.thanksV

I have a bifurcated system. Move and s1. I used to be able to connect to my sonos s1 speaker using the S1 app. went on holiday retuned and can’t now. S1 app reverts to S2 app and I cannot connect to S1. tried resetting app. Removed it and reloaded it. still not working.

Kære netværkHvordan får jeg Google Assistant til at anvende DR LYD når jeg skal høre fx DR P4 København på mine Sonos produkter.Selvom jeg har fjernet TuneIn og kun har DR LYD, anvender Google Assistant stadig TuneIn.Derudover, har jeg pt. udfordringer med at få systemet til at afspille P4 København. P1 og P3 virker. Google Assistant vil pt. i øvrigt også kun fortælle hvad klokken er, hvis jeg tilføjer "... i Danmark".Hele 3 udfordringer. Håber nogen kan hjælpe mig. Bh. Søren 

Dear allI have problems with Tunein and the radiostation DR P4 København. It is a public service station so no login. The problem is, that Sones can’t connect to Tunein. Some days it works fine. But mostly I get this message: Could not play ‘DR P4 København’ - could not connect to Tunein.I have had this station as “default” for many years. But the last couple of months there have been problems connecting.Can anyone help me with this problem?The station works fine from the Tunein webpage.I use the S1 controller since I have some older speakers in my sonos set-up, and I don’t want to break it up in new and old so I loose the option of connecting all my speakers.regards/kristoffer

I have Apple HomePods all over my home.  I have an Arc 2 SLs and the 3rd gen sub in my media room.  Having people over last night and was trying to play music everywhere. The media room Sonos shows in the airplay menu but you can’t connect to it.  It’s also no longer in my homekit home.  What I’ve done so far is power cycled all Sonos speakers. Power cycled my iPad and iPhone.  Power cycled the network switch the Sonos is using. Nothing is on WiFi. And power cycled the access point in that room.  Is a factory reset needed for my system?  

Good morning everyone,I’ve just purchased a Sonos Arc and have installed Alexa and I have been very pleased with the experience so far. However, it seems like I can only manipulate music apps like Spotify, Sonos Radio etc. as I’m having trouble opening up video apps like Netflix and Amazon Prime video. Upon asking Alexa to “watch Netflix” she responds “to control video device you need to connect it first… go to settings/video apps etc...” except that I don’t see the Netflix option under tv/video.Furthermore, when trying to connect Amazon Prime through the Alexia app->Tv/Video I get prompted with “Sorry, we could not find any devices to link.”How can I get Alexa to open up my video apps and do I need to buy an additional device such as the Amazon echo to remedy this situation? I recently purchased a Sonos Amp and I am experiencing a constant, slight hum coming from the unit, even when it is not playing music or when no audio cables are connected (except the power cable).The humming is faint, but noticeable in a quiet room, particularly when I am working, as the Amp is placed on my desktop.I have used multiple audio devices in the past, but this is the first time I am encountering this issue.Is this normal behavior or could there be a problem? Before requesting a replacement, what steps should I take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue?

If I take my Pioneer VSX-21 Elite Optical output, to the Sonos optical adapter, to arc adapter and plug into the sonos arc soundbar I should be able to switch inputs on my receiver and have that audio stream so i can then pair either a couple of play ones and a sub? Simple question but nobody at Sonos can give an answer.  

Has anyone else found that their trade up products have been removed from their accounts, so that there are not as many items to trade up as they expected?  I have old generation products in my account which I traded up and returned to Sonos, but these were removed and the “trade up” credit applied to items I am still using.  Sonos say that they are unable to verify registration for the products returned under GDPR, as they may now be registered to others.  So they are saying that the products returned are now in use by others - what!  they’ve sold them on!?  And because I’ve returned them I’ve effectively lost my 30% upgrade credit….?Come on Sonos, this is a con!Anybody else found this?
