Hi folks,Anyone know why I lose all sound from arc/sub/play ones when I unpause the tv? It returns if I turn the tv off and on. My tv is Sony a9 and using virgin box. The sound is awesome so I must have it all wired correctly!!Thanks!

Does the Audio-Technica AT-LP3XBT connect to the Sonos One? Sonos OS: S2  

I have 4 play one and 1 playbar . Recently upgraded to 2 Sonos one and a sub mini and disconnected my existing play one I tried to group the playbar with Sonos one and sub mini to get a 5.1 but it’s not working . I have grouped Sonos one and sub mini as one unit and playbar as another. everytime I pay Tv or music I try to group the two but it’s not working . Only playbar works and it plays only on playbar how to rectify this

Hello,My Sonos devices are S1 and therefore I use the Sonos S1 app.I sometimes experience that the Play button does not change to the Pause button in the Sonos app.This means that I can't pause/stop the music in the Sonos app.It happens on both my Windows 10 PC and on my Android smartphone.The Sonos app is updated on both my PC and my smartphone. Could it be a bug in the Sonos app?Thank you in advance.

I don’t think this is possible, but all the answers I find are from 3 years ago (which is depressing because it feels like an updated feature is never going to come). I don’t want to group any google speakers with my Sonos speakers. I just want to know if there is a way to say “Hey google play “song” on “my Sonos group”. “My Sonos Group” is one of several groupings I’ve built in the Sonos app. I know there is no way to group within the Home app itself, but is there no command that Google Assistant can’t send to Sonos to just play an already set up group? 

My sonos roam is a year or so old, I used it last summer on my deck. I had some initial difficulties keeping it linked to my system, it would often go offline and I would need to restart it.  But earlier this week I went to use it and it was dead. It was on its original charger, but not charged. I plugged it into a different outlet changed the cords and usb, still wont charge. I am not sure what to do next. I’m bummed as it doesn’t look like customer service is that great.  I was hoping to just get a replacement, as its not that old. Thanks for any info/insight you can share.SjLulu 

Ijust added a NAS to my network and connected my Sonos system to that NAS and have scheduled index updates each evening at 2am.  I rip CDs to the NAS and every so many days I update the meta data/tags to clean up the initial data that was used.  The biggest issue I’m having is when tag data changes and creates a new album in the library but the previous versions of that album also remain.  Here is an example.I have a single album that is a 2 CD set When I rip the CDs - it creates two albums in my library named ‘Album Name - disc 1’ and ‘Album Name - disc 2’ When my Sonos library is indexed, it creates the 2 separate albums I go into my library software and update the meta data where both cds have the same album name and I indicate disc 1 and disc 2  The next time Sonos library is indexed - it creates the new album with the corrected album name and all tracks in the correct order grouped by cd1 and cd2 as expected However, the original 2 albums that it initially created also remain in m

I have a number of Amazon Echo devices along with a number of Sonos (Alexa-enabled) speakers in the house. I only want the doorbell notifications to go to certain devices and need to exclude certain Sonos devices. However, information on the net appears to suggest doing this via the Alex App, but I can only de-select Amazon Echo devices in there and not Sonos speakers enabled through Alexa.Is there any other way that I can stop these notifications as the Sonos app only appears to have rudimentary settings for Alexa in its own app.

Have to confess I did not realise the otherwise super ARC device had Alexa embedded. However the functions that the simple Alexa Echo device performs with ease, do not seem to be so simple with the ARc device. Maybe that’s my knowledge, how it’s set up or the product itself but functions such as ‘drop in’ (where you can open up a communication with another Alexa device) do not seem to work. Same with other communication type functions that are commonplace on even the lowest end Amazon product. is this your experience? Or am I missing a setting that would allow the ARC to perform as an equal to the the Echo device?Very much hope it is my lack of set up rather than a delta in function.Appreciate any input you might have.

Despite my best efforts of scanning the forums here for an answer here’s the issues I’m left with…The microphone icon on the top of the unit does make its normal beep when I press it, but it will not illuminate. I see others have been advised to remove the voice assistant and add it again, but this makes no difference and to be honest I don’t use any of the voice assistants anyway.It’s the Auto Trueplay function that I can’t get to work. I partly wonder if the LED on the top of the unit isn’t working?Hopefully it’s something simple I’m missing?Thank you.

I am currently creating a home theatre setup in a family room that measures 18’x12’. I do not have the ability to install recessed wall speakers, and I do not wish to hang speakers off the wall. Can I use 4 ceiling Sonance speakers to be my front L+R and rear L+R, along with a sub and Arc for my centre channel? I am planning on hooking up the system to my television via the Arc.

I used to listen to Radio 2 on Sinos via Tunein and that service was removed.I now listen via Radio Net.According to ads this service will also be withdrawn early 2023.Any other alternatives? Thanks Richard

We have a Roam that’s about a year old. It’s been working fine since we got it, but it’s been a few months since we’ve used it. We went to use it today (it’s been sitting on its charge pad) and it was warm and wouldn’t connect or do anything - no lights, no noises…even a factory reset wouldn’t do anything. We’ve taken it off charge for now, but does anyone have any ideas on what we could do?

Hi,I am quite keen to buy the new SONOS arc sound bar. But I am not sure if it is suitable to my room. I am afraid it may be an overkill. My room size is 14 feet by 16 feet (224 sq feet or 20 sq mtr). I have a 77 inch Sonly OLED TV and wish to use the arc with it in the room. Cananyone please advice if I can go ahead and get it or if it is not advisable for such a small room size. I need the best possible sound quality and ready to spend the money, I mean budget is not a constraint. Your help will be greatly appretiated. Thank you very much.

I have a system in my house with 4 play5 speakers and 5 play3 speakers and want to use one of the play3 speakers in my second home using the same play list and the same mobile iphone. Can this be done and if so what do i need to do.

I really want to get rid of my remaining Apple HomePods. However, a chief reason for keeping them is the ease of handing off anything in playing on my phone to the speaker. I can’t see anyway to do the same with Sonos. Am I missing something?

I purchased a pair of Roam speakers to use with my existing stereo system, connecting through Bluetooth, so that I can listen to CDs/radio/vinyl playing from my receiver in other rooms. I have an external Bluetooth transmitter/receiver plug-in to connect with the Roams which works well, however there is a significant sound lag between the Roam and the existing stereo speakers so I can't have them both on at the same time. I tried a different plug-in Bluetooth transmitter/receiver with different Bluetooth codecs as well but that didn’t work either.Is there any way I can get the wireless Roam speakers and my old wired speakers to work in sync? I have read about needing to hook up old systems with the Port or Amp but I want to be sure that this would actually fix my problem before I invest in a substantially more expensive component. Any help would be much appreciated. Current System:Record Player: Project Primary-ECD Player: Pioneer PD-M403 SRStereo Receiver: Sony STR-DH190Wired Speakers

Hello all!So my girlfriend tried for a long time to convince me to go full Sonos and recently i caved. We had a beam but we have bought a Move and are planning to buy a couple of One's aswell. To go full Sonos i got rid of my old BT Marley speaker. I used that speaker with the Project VTE BT record player and it worked like a charm. No we have bought the Move solely for that purpose and it won't connect. No matter what we try…Steps we have done:Fully disconnect the Project from power Reset the switch behind the VTE BT a couple of times Put Move in pairing mode first Wait endlessley till it connectsI am a bit in a pickle, we bought the Move specificly for this purpose (no wires, yeah!). If it doesn't work i will feel really bummed..Anyone has an idea? Other posts don't help sadly Thanks in advance!

Hello, I have a sonos ARC which is connected to my TV for it to play through. I have now recently purchased a sonos AMP because i have a very old record player i would like to connect.  I believe i have setup the record player to connect to AMP properly, and i have added AMP to the sonos app.  What i want to do is have the AMP play through the ARC as my speaker but i dont see any way to have it do that. When it added AMP to the app, it added it to living room 2 instead of living room where my ARC is (no idea why). There is an option to connect the AMP to the ARC as a “surround sound” via a setup dialogue, but when i try to do that, although it seems to show my ARC as an option, when i actually select the ARC, the whole app just crashes.  I think the setup i want is pretty simple. Record player to AMP. AMP to use the ARC as its speaker. so essentially my record player is using the ARC as its speaker via the AMP but i cant for the life of me figure out how to do that. Any thoughts? note

I have tried all the posts on connecting Sonos to Samsung remotes (optical, arc hdmi, universal remote set-up, app set up, etc) I believe the new Samsung tvs have blue tooth only communication. Has anyone had success getting a Sonos Beam gen2 to be controlled by a Samsung 2022 model smart tv remote? Thanks for help.
