My music library is located on a external hard drive, I would like to reset the paths that are already set to add further music selections. However, when I open “Music Library Settings” all I can see is Desktop

I’m not sure I understand you. If @buzz’s reply wasn’t of help, I recommend you get in touch with our technical support team, who have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system, and to remotely connect to your computer for direct assistance.

Renaming your library can result in SONOS Playlist file name issues. Sometimes the library indexer will figure this out, sometimes not. There is no guarantee. Make sure that the device being used to setup the library is configured for private network access.
