Hello Having issues changing AMP from wireless to wired connection. Tries several times and rebooted router etc etc. Error comes up that cannot be changed. System Interenet - cable NBN with 108 download and 38 upload on average tests so no issues here.Broadband modem from Aussie Broadband is being used with wireless turned off on this router.ORBI 3 unit mesh system with main router cabled directly into modem. Sonos Products ARC wired into main ORBI unit with ONES and SUB wirelessly connectedONE in bathroom wirlessMOVE in dining wirlessROAM in bedroom wireless ONES x 2 in kitchen set as as stereo wirelessONE outside around pool wireless PLAY 3 x 2 utility room set up as stereo and wireless The AMP is in kitchen and wirelessly connected to system with hard wired external speakers. Hello,The electrical supply to the house was shut off due to a PowerPoint issue. In the Sonos App, all three rooms appear to be working as soon as the power is restored. Until I try to play something, I cannot get it to play anything. There is no radio program on Tune In. My Tidal streaming account was used to listen to music. Once again, nothing. I need your help!

Hi All,In my 2nd TV room I have a LG C7 connected to optical to a Sonos playbar (with Sonos 1 “surrounds” and Sonos subwoofer). Obviously had this for many years and now with the advent of lots of streaming material being 5.1, Atmos etc. I’m thinking of upgrading the playbar to a Beam to get the full benefit of 5.1, Atmos etc. The listening area is relatively small ~3m x ~3m (dining area just off kitchen).I working on the assumption that the C7 eARC will output Atmos to the Beam (my C9 in the lounge does) and that the sonos 1 (original) / subwoofer (original) will all work? The speakers currently only work with the S1 app but the Beam is S2 - do I need to worry about that?

Hello,I have been reading the problems and solutions that others have had and tried with Sonos and the BT Homehub. We have BT and I have a Sonos Boost. We keep losing connection to our Sonos system, usually at night and in the morning. Is this likely a BT problem with their hub and Sonos not getting on with it or is the Boost solving that and it’s an issue with the Sonos system?  Thanks for your help. 

My Equipment: Sonos BeamSonos PortTurntable (w/ amp)Yamaha Receiverw/ Bose bookshelf speakers (pair)My Setup:I have my TV connected to a Sonos Beam on one side of the room, and on the opposite side of the room, behind the couch/TV against the wall, I have a turntable connected to a receiver with two bookshelf speakers.  I use that setup to listen to my vinyl records and I use my Beam to watch TV and stream music digitally.My Goal: I bought the Sonos Port with the understanding that it would allow me to do both by combining the two on the Sonos network. Ideally, I’d like to connect the Port to the receiver/turntable so that I can listen to vinyl AND digital audio through the receiver’s bookshelf speakers AND Beam. Given that, I was under the impression that I would then be able to apply the same concept to TV audio, where the bookshelf speakers act like two surround sound speakers…. Is that not the case??? If so, what setup would I need to achieve this? 

Hi All - I just added Sonos to my gym via a Ray sound bar on the TV.  My wife does guided workouts using the TV. Particularly on the treadmill, the TV speakers too far away to reliably hear over the treadmill motor. I'd like to use a Play 3 as an additional speaker, essentially just playing whatever the Ray is outputting.  I was able to add the Play 3 to the system with no problem, but it sets itself up into a new room ("Gym 2").   I'm figuring I can just put the output of the ray to the Play 3, but is there any way to permanently group these together?  (Improved WAF....you know....).   Thanks! 

I have a Sonos IKEA frame and have recently reconfigured my wireless network. As a results, I fail to connect the Sonos speaker. I have tried all the suggestions to reset, restart etc. I have even checked that my speaker connects to a network in a different building. My hunch is that there is some incompatibility between the speaker and my network settings, but I cannot figure out what to do.Any suggestions?

Hi there,From a couple od weeks I’m experciencing problems with browsing Deezer on Sonos S2 app (PC and smartfone). The issue is: when I enter the Deezer tab in Sonos app, there is a loadsing sign for a brief moment and then the text “unable to browse music” aprears. I’ve already tried turning off and on the whole system, updating the Sonos app and Deezer app, but there is no effect. The strange thing is, that sometimes it works, so I’m little bit confused and guess this sugests that the issue is with Deezer, but maybe Sonos have some solution for this?Last time (2-3 days ago) it worked just fine, and then, when I’ve reconfigured speakers (Beam and 2x Play:1) and reactivated Deezer account the problem came back… Any ideas how to solve this, the issue is iritating?PS - voice control works fine with Deezer. 

At 1am, sonos started playing music out of the blue.  I generated a diagnostics code shortly after it happened, which is 1080735780.  Can you explain what happened? Thanks, Paul

Hello everyone,I’m having a problem where certain keywords in movies etc. is activating the Google Assistant. When it happens sound is muted until it deactivates again (few seconds). I know I’m able to turn off the microphone manually but I’m wondering if there’s a way to do it automatically when watching TV? I’ve got no use for Google Assistant during movies and TV-shows anyway.Am I able to contact Sonos directly with feature requests?Thanks in advance. 

Hi all,I have a problem with one of my sonos One speakers. All of a sudden it seems to stop working. The speaker is connected via WiFi to my local network (confirmed in router) I can see the speaker in the sonos App, but when playing music, there is no sound. The app shows that the speaker is playing music The status light on the speaker is off, but configures in the app as turned on The status page of the speaker (when accessing via ip-address of the speaker) is accessible. My other speakers are all working fine.Does anyone have an idea what could be the issue with the speaker and whether I can resolve it via some way. Thanks!

I have just change my password on my router and now my Sonos system doesn’t work. I don’t have the option to change system. It asks me to look up all my products and reconnect them. I cannot believe this is the level of technology of a system that cost as much as it does. 

After exhaustive troubleshooting, I’ve narrowed the issue down to the 3.5mm Line Out from my Optoma UHZ50 being the culprit.  Setup: Optoma UHZ50 Projector sending audio to Sonos Amp via 3.5mm “Audio Out”. The wire is one-sided on the UHZ50 side, then has a red and black end which plug into my Sonos Amp. My Amp powers to Definitive Tech DI-8R Ceiling Speakers.  The issue: One of the two speakers is very low, static, and simply sounds bad. I tried troubleshooting everything - new speaker wire, different banana plugs, even swapped the speaker (I have 4 and 2 are in box) and even tried a different Sonos Amp (I have 2, one is still in box). Nothing fixed the issue, so the only thing left to try was replacing the 3.5mm cable, so I went ahead and swapped that (I also have two of those) and the issue persists, but if I flip the Red / Black the opposite speaker has the problem. I’ve had my Beam for a while and worked fine with my LG OLED (2019) but I updated to the new LG OLED C2(2022) and it is constantly switching between ARC and internal speakers every few seconds. I have everything setup and sound comes out of Beam perfectly and then the tv switches back to internal speakers for less than 5 seconds and then back to ARC 

Hi,I can’t login to the app with my android phone and with Ipad and all I get is ‘Let’s try that again’ X2 and than ‘Try again later’. I can log in in the web on a computer to my account. That internet Wifi works just fine. What is the problem?

How do you use Sonos on multiple networks?  Do you need a separate account for each network?

About two weeks ago a Play 5 I had in a stereo pair setup with another Play 5 started to occasionally disconnect or just freeze so I had to pull the power plug. This behavior has now started to get worse and worse to a point where it happens every 3 to 5 minutes now where before it was only perhaps once a day. It is usually a self reboot of the device, then the second time it fully freezes. After numerous research and discussions with Sonos tech personnel prior to purchase, I just found out (after installation) that the Sonos Architectural In-Wall speakers and the Sonos Architectural In-Ceiling speakers cannot be connected to the same Amp. Basically, you need two Amps?  Really??  I have a Loft overlooking my MBR and on 01/11/23, two Sonos In-Wall speakers and two Sonos In-ceiling speakers were installed on one Amp.  This is just for music.  There is an “unable to complete to architectural speaker detection error.’ The 4 speakers play music but Trueplay is not available.  Since the Sonos Amp is not inexpensive I am a more than a bit annoyed especially as a matter of principle that one should fork out money to purchase two Sonos Amps to merely power a pair of In-Wall speakers and a Pair of ceiling speakers. Questions:Is there a work-around?  The music plays on the four speakers, the only issue appears to be Trueplay and detecting the speakers.Why true play is important is t

My previous setup was an old Orbi mesh router hardwired to my ARC and then my entire system (9 speakers) were on the Sonosnet system. It worked really well. I recently purchased the TP Link Deco XE75 6e Mesh router. I hooked up the ARC to the main router and the arc says WM:0. However, the rest of the speakers are on wifi WM:1. When I try to disable my wifi on the other speakers it comes up with an error. Also my other speakers are not staying connected via wifi. Sometimes I have to force close my app to get the speakers to show that they are connected. I’d really like to use the Sonosnet system and get all the speakers off my wifi. Anyone have success with this TP Link Mesh system? If not, I’m thinking about returning the TP-Link. Does anyone have any recommendations for a wifi 6e mesh system? 

My setup is an Arc, Sub Gen 3, and 2 Sonos SL for surround sound connected through HDMI Arc to Sony A80J. When playing a movie or watching anything with surround audio on, the main “voice” comes from one of the SL speakers instead of the Arc. As if that back-left speaker is the center… I’ve tried everything. Factory reset and reconnected all products. Upgraded HDMI cables. Trueplay. Everything. And every time the same thing happens.Help would be much appreciated!
