Music Drops from Pandora Never happened before...used Pandora for over 10 years

Sonos Version 14.16

OS: S2

Problem: Music plays for about a minute then turns off and app closes.

There is update available, but update process stops.

I have tried several times with no success.

Also "Chat" option not functioning.


Please advise. Thank you".

Delete the Sonos app from your Mac.

Go to the Sonos website and download a fresh copy of S2.

Install the fresh copy from the downloaded .dmg 

Run the new copy, and select ‘join existing system’ rather than setting up a new system.

Run the update process to update the software on the computers in the speakers. 

Enjoy your Sonos.
