Has anyone figured this out yet? I can’t seem to setup the skill for Alexa and in the settings for Services & Voice there’s NO ALEXA THERE.? Why is that?

Hi all,may be having a brain fart but I can’t seem to find specific radio stations on the app, namely Radio Chemical and the Thom York station.I’ve used the search button and it’s given me nothing. A search through the station lists has also given me nothing.any results I do get tend to come from my Apple music.at a bit of a loss so any help greatly appreciated. steve

Ok, I have read many conversations here and on the web but no one seems to have the exact same setup as everyone else so distilling their solution to your own issue can be tricky. So, I have my network like this:Cable Modem -->Orbi Router (RBR50) → BOOSTMy NAS (WD EX2Ultra) is plugged into the RBR50 Router. Router is on channel 1 and SonosNET on 6. Here is my Map (nothing horrible to my eyes):I have constant dropouts in the office which is on the 3rd floor (BOOST on the 2nd). The office has an Orbi RBS50…. Sonos log says the music cannot be found or a SAMBA issue. I am using SMB 2 or 3 mode on a S2 setup.So now for the question, should I add a second BOOST in the office? I could do this connected to the Orbi satellite or leave the BOOST in wireless mode (just plug in near the office Play:3). I have no hard ports in the office connected to the router unfortunately (only the ORBI mesh).

Hello! I have 5 Sonos that are AirPlay enabled, including 2 amps.  for these two amps, they are setup identically, they are stacked on top of each other,  both hard wired direct to the network.  1 amp (and all my other Airplay speakers) work.  But 1 amp gives the same error on any device (“unable to connect to “the pool”) ive power cycled, restarted the network, checked for updates,   Turned WiFi on and off on that amp,   Tried a half dozen iOS devices,     Nothing I do will make the Sonos work.   for this broken amp, no other symptoms, all music services work from the Sonos ap, but not from airplay or apple HomeKit.  it did work at one point when I installed the amps initially, but not anymore.   any tips? Thanks !

Can more than one Sonos roam be paired via Bluetooth? 

I have a pair of Play 5 speakers (old version) set up as a stereo pair.  The left speaker is noticably louder than the right.  The balance is set to the center. I separated the pair and the left speaker still sounds louder. Any thoughts on how to resolve this? Thanks, John

Sonos system working seamlessly on old Android phone, upgraded to new A53 and now can’t connect to Sonos system with S1 Controller. System consists of 1 Bridge and 2 Connects. Have gone through all the obvious steps and the S1 Controller keeps telling me “Product not found”? BTW… not a techno-guy, so a little patience please. Thanks in advance!

My Play:5 has sat in a box for 2 years before I finally decided to set it up. It has began to be one heck of a struggle though. The recent days I’ve been trying everything to get it set up, but failure after failure I get the same “sonos is having trouble linking to your device, check your wifi and try again later”. I’ve even tried this multiple times with an Ethernet cable, I’ve deleted the app multiple times, restarted the router, used multiple Ethernet cables, and I get the same error message every time, and I know there is nothing wrong with my wifi. It should not be this hard for a damn bluetooth speaker. This will not register to my device at all. 549.99 for this bs. 

Hello i recently changed my broadband to Virgin which has 5Ghz, which would not connect my speakers  via WiFi, so I connected my Symfonisk speaker via Ethernet. Now I can’t get my Sonos one to connect. I used to have the symfonisk and one speaker set up as one system in separate rooms. The One speaker does not show up on the App, I tried resettling and setting the speaker up as “new” but it still does not appear on the App. I cannot use an Ethernet cable with the One speaker. is there anyway around this so I can get both speakers working? Thanks for your helpDerek  

Yesterday, my two Sonos products - Connect Amp (1st gen) and Play 1 - were working just fine via the S1 app. They have worked fine for years! This morning, when I open the S1 app, I am told I must download the S2 app. However, I know that the Connect Amp will not work with the S2 app. Is this Sonos’s way of forcing me to upgrade my hardware even though it has worked perfectly well for years? 

I have a Samsung NeoQLED (QE65QN85B) connected to my Sonos Playbar with the optical cable.What do I have to do so that I can adjust the Sonos volume via the Samsung remote control. Unfortunately, this does not work. Thanks for an idea. 

HI everyone,I am currently trying to find an iPad iOS 12 Sonos App - needless to say with no luck!I use an Android phone as well as a Macbook Pro and have no issues with either of the Sonos apps for those two devices.I am trying to make use of the iPad for the Trueplay option supported for iOS devices.Does anyone know how I could find and install the appropriate Sonos App for my iPad by any chance?FYI - my Sonos speakers are all Gen2/3 therefore the S2 version is required as I understand…Thanks in advance.

Hi all,I’ve had an email saying you can get 20% on the SONOS website. When I select the item I’m after, Sonos Stands for ONE, ONE SL and PLAY:1 white, and add it to my basket when I go to pay it reverts the price back to full price and not the discounted price. Is anyone else experiencing this? I’ve tried to contact/get hold of Customer Services however, I’ve not been successful as the email address I have keeps coming back as not in use.Any help is appreciated.

My sub will not power up tried the cable from the sound bar so not the cable 

Hello! I’m trying to connect Pro-ject Essential 3 turntable to a Pro-ject Phono Box S2 pre-amp to the Sonos Amp. I get the vinyl to play for about 5-10 seconds (sound is great) and then the sound cuts out and no sound continues.  Any recommendations or suggestions?

Hi. I am not having any success in playing back SACDs through my Sonos Arc sound bar.  My disc player is a Sony UBP-X800M2. It is connected via HDMI cable to a Sony BRAVIA KJ-50X80WK TV, which is connected directly to a Sonos ARCG1JP1BLK ArcSoundbar.  I have no problem playing back regular CDs. I have tried connecting the disc player directly to the sound bar, with no luck. I have tried adjusting the audio settings on the TV, with no success, and have asked Sony for advice, but they are unable to help me. Thanks in advance for any advice you may be able to offer. 

I have set up my new Sonos Ray. The volume is too loud even at setting 1. How do I reduce the volume ?

Hi,I'm using a Samsung TV TU7000 and have connected the Sonos Beam (Gen2) through to the TV's HDMI (e-ARC) port with the Sonos HDMI cable.I have a Tidal HiFi Plus subscription and am running this on the native TV Tidal app. However, Tidal's Dolby Atmos content plays as "Dolby Multichannel PCM 2.0".I've been trying for the past week (power cycling had changed the format to "Dolby Digital 2.0" which is also not correct. The format for that same track has now since switched back to "PCM 2.0" I'm not even sure how/why). I would like to point out that Netflix content automatically plays as "Dolby Atmos" so I doubt it is a problem with my set-up.How do I get Tidal Dolby Atmos music to play as such on the Sonos Beam?If it helps my Tidal TV app is from Samsung's native app store: Build 2020.12.16 Thanks in advance for assisting me in troubleshooting!

Hi everyone.  I have a sono beam 2 hooked up to my LG C1.  For 5.1 sound from netflix and my cable box, the sonos app would use to say the sound coming in is Dolby Digital Plus 5.1.  Now when I go to my sonos app, it says Dolby Multichannel PCM 5.1.I notice Dolby Atmos now it says Dolby Atmos while it use to say Dolby Atmos (DD+).Dolby Output from the TV is set to AutoIf I change to Passthrough, then it changes back to Dolby Digital but I never had to do that before.I was wondering what happened or what has changed?  I don't think I changed any sound settings recently.  I did update to the new firmware, but not sure if that caused this issue.I guess I am wondering how do I change it back to Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 without putting it to passthrough?Also, which is better?  Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 or Dolby Multichannel PCM 5.1?  Which Atmos is better?Thanks

I still don’t understand why the standard Deezer feature rich experience is not available inside the Sonos application. Sonos just does not want to make any improvements here and it would significantly improve my user experience. I was thinking of getting a 2nd Roam but if I want both stereo and missing options in Deezer’s native environment, I can’t do it because Roam wont support bluetooth sterio pairing and the Sonos environment won’t support the full Deezer experience. Disappointing.  

Hello,Due to an issue with PowerPoint, the electrical supply to the house was shut off. The power appears to have been restored to all three rooms as soon as the power is restored. Until I play something, nothing will play. It does not have any radio programs on Tune In. I listened to music using my Tidal streaming account. It's the same old story. I need your help! 

Why won’t my Playbase play with the rest of my Sonos system when the TV is off? 

Hii know there have been some posts and discussions about connecting B&O speakers to TV via Sonos Port.  I am looking for a simpler just strictly connecting Port to B&O Beolab 6000 speakers.   And I can stream music from my phone to play on Port and my existing Arc.  what cables do I need and what’s the easiest/simplest setup? TIA!  

Hello. I have been having an issue with my Connect:Amp for awhile now. Every time I turn up the volume to about 65% it mutes and a white flashes on the amp. I have it wired to two pairs of Yamaha outdoor speakers with 130 watt peak power handling. One pair is located outside at my patio and the other pair is installed in my garage. To independently control the volume of the two locations I installed a Russound impedance matching volume control for each pair of speakers. I am thinking that the volume controls are what is causing the issue but not sure how to determine that for sure. Any help is appreciated.
