Hello - will the Pro-Ject T1 turntable connect with Play 3 through Denon receiver? I have Play 3 and the sound bar.

Thanks!

No. You need a Sonos device with line-in to connect the turntable like a Port, Five, or one of the new Era 100 or Era 300 speakers. And if the turntable doesn’t have a built-in phono preamp, you need to add one.

Hmmm - I am considering purchasing the Pro-Ject T1 which has a built-in phono preamp — I am told. So essentially, I would need to get the Sonos Port for it to connect which should allow it to play with the 300 speakers, right?

If you are getting the Era 300, you don’t need the Port. The Pro-Ject T1 will connect directly to the USB-C port on the Era 300 (using the Sonos line-in adapter).

If you are not getting the Era 300, then you can use any Sonos device with line-in to connect the turntable. Sonos devices with line-in include the Port, Five, Amp, Era 100, and Era 300 (or the older model Connect, Play:5 (Gen 2), and Connect:Amp).
