I have an outdoor place and I am looking to buy 1 sonos amp with 3 pairs of sonos architectural outdoor speakers and 1 sonance 6.1 garden series with sonos amp. Can I play the same music and synchronize both amps to play the music together? Also, if I am playing the music on 1 amp connected to 3 pair of outdoor speakers, is it possible to turn off 1 or 2 pairs or do all 3 connected speaker pairs will have to play together? 

The sonos amp is 250 watts maximum whereas each speaker is a maximum of 130 watts. If I add 6 speakers, the total for speakers will be 780 watts.  Will the sound coming from each speaker decrease as I keep increasing the speakers? (6 speakers compared to 2 speakers)

My Amazon Prime Music just stopped working.  Had been working for several years.  The account is not authorized.  I’ve tried to reauthorize, and seems to complete but it is not ‘authorized’ when finished.  Have tried deleting Amazon Music from ‘Music and Services’ and then re-adding it and seems to complete fine.  But then it is not authorized. Any suggestions?

I’m resurrecting my old vinyl deck and an old s1 connect. Rest of my system is in s2. So I downloaded s1 app but there is no option to start a s1 system by adding a product just options to S2.  Any thoughts?  Thanks

I see that people have asked similar questions, but I can’t seem to find the right answer. I have today a couple of sonos:1’s and 1 sonos:5. The latter has a vinyl player connected to it. If I would like to also connect a CD player to the same sonos:5 I will need a Sonos Port or a sonos connect, OR can I merely buy one more Sonos:5 and connect the CD player directly into that? I realise that I would then need to locate the new sonos:5 right next to the existing sonos:5 and that may be silly. What to do? PS: I am using Spotity for conveniency, and vinyl for the best experience here but I do have a lot of CD’s with music that is not on Spotify so that is the reason behind it. Additional question: I don’t think the Sonos sound is very good, but probably just ok. Is there anything I can do to improve the sound apart from spending 2000$ to buy more speakers, a sub, etc? 

Some products are better priced at Amazon than at sonos website/ Best Buy etc so I want to know would sonos cover the warranty if purchased from Amazon? 

2 Days ago I had NTS playing on my Sonos speakers, I needed to vacuum while it was on, and unplugged a speaker that was playing. I’ve done this before, and nothing unnormal happened. The other speakers continued playing. I’m not sure if this caused the problem or not. After trying to start any NTS stream afterwards, the Track information updates, but none of them will play. The error log shows the same error for every station ‘cannot connect to NTS Radio because the server cannot be found.’ The Stations are playing fine through the NTS website. All my other Sonos Services are still working just fine. Any idea how to fix this? My next troubleshooting step would be to reset my entire sonos system, which I’d like to not have to do.  

Hi I have trouble using my Spotify account with 1 specific Sonos speaker.I have several Sonos products (2 Play5’s, 4 Play 1’s, Playbar and Sonos Roam). From my Spotify app or Sonos app I can start music from Spotify on all Speaker, but the Sonos Roam. This issue just started recently. If I try to start a Spotify playlist through the Sonos app on Sonos Roam it returns message “Spotify lost connection” (loosely translated from Danish). It works if I start on all other speakers.If I use the Spotify I app – I can see all my speakers, the Sonos Roam included, as Spotify connect. Again I can start music on all speakers, but the Sonos Roam. If I choose that, it just try to start the music, but silently loose the connection/give up.This happens regardless if I just my Samsung Android Phone, Apple iPad or Macbooc. Each with both the Sonos App and Spotify app.But here’s the kicker: If I use e.g. my wifes Spotify account, it work flawless in both the Sonos app and Spotify app. The issue only pers

I’ve had no luck in using the second ethernet port (tried switching left to right as well) on any of my six Play 5 Gen 1 speakers to extend on to another device, in this case, my win box computer. I got all these speakers used and just wondering if this was a failure point in them or not intended for this purpose. They work fine otherwise.

I have a Playbar connected to my Sony TV via optical cable. I have a Roku Express, Humax freeview box and Sony DVD player connected via HDMI to the TV. I can get 5.1 sound going through the TV from each device but experience choppy audio (drop outs for a fraction of a second every few seconds).  As it happens with all devices (and not when the optical lead is plugged straight into the freeview box or DVD player) it seems like the TV is the problem. The Roku is an issue as it doesn’t have an optical connection. I have tried a HDMI/optical splitter but it seems the 5.1 signal doesn’t get passed through from the Roku and I end up with stereo (because it doesn’t go through the TV?). I’m not allowed a new TV so would welcome any other ideas to try and fix the problem? Thanks

hi , I hope you can help,I have a Sonos Connect linked to a Linn amp and speakers . The system has been giving an unpleasant and constant crackle  .I've replaced the connections and changed the power source but this hasn't helped  . The problem seems to be when I activate my other Sonos products: a Sonos One and a Sonos Connect amp in other rooms . Have you any idea why this is happening .thankyouBrendon

Jeg har igennem et stykke tid nu haft problemer med DR lyd. Vi bruger vores højttalere som vækkeur og bruger P4 København via DR lyd, men den er begyndt på at vi ofte bliver vækket af Sonos chime i stedet, når jeg så prøver at starte radioen starter den med det samme. Vi har enkelte gange tidligere oplevet at Sonos chime er startet og der har det typisk været fordi der var et problem med at forbinde til kilden, men det lader ikke til at være et problem her da den kommer med det samme når jeg starter den manuelt. Jeg har oplevet samme problem med en alarm indstillet til P1.Når jeg har fået radioen i gang oplever jeg desuden at den pludselig springer 30 min "tilbage i tiden" så jeg altså hører det der blev sendt for 30 min siden.Er der nogen der oplever noget lignende og evt. har en løsning på problemet? 

Hi SONOS Support We’ve got two MOVE Speakers set up in Stereo in our bedroom.  We sporadically put one of these MOVE Speakers into Bluetooth mode so it can pair with the FireTV Stick, which works great - the problem, which is repeatable, when you put it back to WiFi mode it drops the Stereo pairing (name and everything related to the pair) it had with the other MOVE and needs to be set up all over again; which is very frustrating. Please can this be addressed, it doesn’t make sense that it should do this once back on the same WiFi it came from…few people are going to be moving the charger all over the place… Thank you

I’m wondering how much of a difference it makes to connect some or all of my Sonos Speakers via ethernet instead of connecting over Wifi (for reference, I have an Eero mesh network that supports WIFI 6). It will take me some work to run cables to where my speakers are which is why I want to hear people’s opinions before making the effort. My reasons for asking are 1) I have a record player going to a latest gen Five and would like to stream to the rest of the apartment without echos. 2) Same issue with an arc when I’m watching/listening to TV through HDMI input (i.e. I want to hear the TV in my bedroom while doing chores). The apartment isn’t separated enough such that when there is a delay from one speaker to the next you will often here the echo. If you use ethernet, do you get any lower delay options in the app vs when connected via WIFI?  Another question (and I assume this isn’t possible but would be nice if Sonos would allow it)… is there a way to connect two speakers together wi

Hi all,For too long, I’ve put up with terrible performance from my Sonos system (frequent drop outs, frequently have to restart the iOS app to get it to connect to the system).I’ve resolved to connect each speaker via Ethernet in the belief the task would be relatively straightforward to implement - just a question of getting an Ethernet cable to each speaker.I’m starting by trying to understand the Matrix.Many items come up as ‘undefined.’ Is there a way for me to change that so the Matrix is more useful? The bottom left cell is coloured red, which I believe means an active, but poor wireless connection. Yet it’s hardwired via Ethernet. Am I incorrect to think it should be grey?  For background, I’ve got a Linksys Velop MX5300 router and a couple more of those as nodes. I’ve also got some switches plugged into the MX5300s in order to expand the available network ports.Thanks very much for any insights you might have!cheers, Andrew 

Hi alli was wondering if it is possible to have the mic activated on Roam without having the light on? I purchased it as a replacement for an Amazon Echo Dot in my bedroom, which controls lighting etc.  But even though the light is small, I find it irritating at night. Thanks! 

I’m consistently getting connection issues when opening up sonos. It’s become extremely unreliable.Then in the time is does connect, it loses connection and I have to powered down all me speakers by removing the plugs.   

Todays issue. Left channel fine, right channel drops. Right channel is directly across room, direct line of sight, to router. Ten feet, max.Diagnostic 127574263.This happens pretty frequently.

My Sonos Beam Gen 1 can’t connect with my Samsung TV from time to time. I had re-setup the Tv again then the next day, the connection is lost when I turn on the TV.  I have Mi-Box (Android TV) to connect the same Samsung TV.

I am using the IOS app and this device will not go away even after a reset, router reboot and full power down.The wrench icon will only trigger a wizard to re-attach the device, nothng to actually delete it permanently. Is there some mysterious trick to getting this device to go away? It is not registered under my account (it was a house guests device, and they took it with them when they left.)

AirPlay seems to work fine, I can swap between my devices no problem. But once I try to switch to Spotify network streaming it seems like the connection is blocked.  Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the Sonos to properly disconnect from airplay? If I turn off the apple devices I can get it to connect to Spotify, but this seems extreme to switch between devices.
