Hi, I've got a Beam 2 and looking to get some rears Sonos One Gen 2. I wanted to know, if I'm watching something with Dolby Atmos sound, will the Beam 2 still play Dolby Atmos and the rears normal? Hope this makes sense

Hello,I have a SONOS system with 4 PLAYS 1, 1 PLAYBAR and 1 SUB.I would like the PLAYBAR to work with the PLAY 1s and the SUB.What do I have to do?I can't set it up.Thank you for your answers.

I was in my start menu and hovered over my account name and noticed another account pop up named “Sonos Wireless HiFi System”, I clicked on it, and it just basically logs back in my account. It shows up in windows settings, accounts, other users as well. Using command prompt doing “query users” only my account shows, doing “net user” the sonos one shows but list my account as admin, I am wondering if this is a normal thing, and am guessing it has to do with how the sonos app streams music off my pc to the speaker. I am setting up an outdoor speaker system. Already have a Move and One. Can I connect these speakers to a non-Sonos amp, which will also connect my outdoor wired speakers? 

Hi,I'm using Alexa on my Sonos Move in French being based in France since 18monthsSomewhen in the last 6 months, it started to switch to English randomly during the process, for example during the flash update, starting in French and suddenly switch to English. It is annoying when Alexa is reading something and is reading a French text with an English accent.I made the test in all the other Amazon built Alexa devices I have and do not experience this issue. I also delinked and relinked my Amazon account to my Sonos Move + update it, all of this didn't change anything.Any idea?   

Hello. Maybe someone can help. I have a problematic Sonos Five. Actually the speakers works fine and plays audio when operated locally via the buttons on the Sonos Five. I can start playback (with single play-button press) and i can group the speaker with a long press on the Play-button.My problem is that the last few weeks, very often, the Five speaker does not show in in the iPhone Sonos S2 App or in the MacOS App. When this is the case, i still can start playback using the local buttons without any issue.It mostly happens with my Sonos Five but sometimes also my two grouped One’s (grouped with a Sub) do not show up in the App. A power-cycle always solve the problem. Although temporary.Any clue what i can do to resolve this?

Can anyone else with their Sonos Sub (Gen 3) take a look inside and see if they can verify any excess glue or weird stuff in the molding inside?Wondering if this is normal? 

I moved into a new house and would like to get speakers for my TV in the family room, but because of how the TV is mounted on a stone fireplace hearth, it would be impossible to mount or place a sound bar anywhere. So if I were not going to use a sound bar, I’m wondering what combination of Sonos products would I need for home theater audio.Ideally I’d want to add surround speakers eventually, and I’d also like to be able to stream music from the same speakers (hence why I’m hoping I can find a Sonos setup that works). Any advice?

I have about five Sonos one speakers in my home and routinely a couple of them never pop up on my system list . I don’t know why these speakers aren’t recognized even though they’re on the network/Wifi. Do I need to stop sharing them with Alexa?

I have enabled Alexa on my Sonos One and Roam speakers. One is in the master bedroom the other is in the master bath. I created a group for bedroom and I e doe bathroom. I then combine them into a group call upstairs. Both rooms and both speakers show up in the new combined group. But when I say Alexa play <Spotify playlist> on Upstairs" it only plays on the bedroom Sonos. I have deleted the group and recreates it but nothing I do seems to get music on both speakers. No idea what is going wrong here.

Failing to connect to my WiFi hub Era 100 

Hi All!  Working on helping a customer move some music.  I’ve setup a Buffalo LS210D NAS drive connected to the SONOS system.  This music is being moved to this drive from an older iMac that is having issues.  I got the NAS drive setup on the router with a static IP address so it will always find it.   I went into the SONOS app and put that NAS drive into the music library setup. The music is in a shared folder on that Buffalo NAS drive.  It works like a champ.  We can see and play the music in the music library.  Here is the problem.  I started by just placing a small amount of music in there to set it up and make sure it works.  Now when I add more music to the NAS drive the app does not see that newly added music when we go to try and play it.  The previous music is there and plays fine. I can delete that from the Music Library Setup in the SONOS app and add it back again the same way it was and it sees the new music.  Below is the syntax of the setup.  All music that is added is ad

The Xbox is saying the device isn't capable of Dolby Atmos and the TV is saying the Sonos Arc isn't capable of Dolby Digital +. This is weird because I previously had the TV set up with a cheaper SoundCore soundbar that had Dolby Atmos working when the Xbox was plugged directly into the soundbar. i have a sonos roam and i got a new network so i needed to connect it to the new one..button it keeps saying theres no speaker around and to turn my sonos on and it literally is on. bluetooth works but i want it to just work normally like

I have many Sonos products throughout my home, including and Arc with Sub and ERA 300’s home theater. I understand that Boost does not support the ERA 300’s. Is it better to simply disconnect my Boost?

When asking to play music from apple music via voice control I get the following answer Apple Music is not activated on your system while it is.anyone has the same issue? 

I have a Sonos music system in my house. It is comprised of 16 Sonos connect version 1 units. I have had trouble with the system recently. Some of the connect units seem to have failed all at once. We have purchased new units but they have not all worked either. Is there a known problem that could be causing this? Do you know if there is a hood resource for solving this problem? At this point 9 of the units have stopped working.

Sometimes I put my hand on the inside of the Sub (Gen 3) while playing a bass track to feel the vibration. Is there any risk of damaging it? Or is it pretty sturdy in regards to what I’ve described?

My speaker can be found when I’m in the Sonos app, but doesn’t appear in the Bluetooth/airplay section when I try and play through Spotify or headspace or other apps. It has done in the past so I know it’s possible! I’ve tried restarts of the speaker and my phone etc. 

I have a Sonos Move and One. Now planning to setup 2 speaker pairs outdoors and connect them all through the Sonos amp. Can I connect 4 wired (non-Sonos) speakers and the Move and One together through the amp to play music on all together? 

 We recently bought a new house. At the moment I do not yet own any sonos products. At the moment we mainly use a set of KEF x300A that is in my office that is adjacent to my current living room. We would like a multi-room system in our new house. I have attached an image of the floor plan of the new house. The kitchen and living room on the right have an open connection. I would like to provide the three rooms that I have circled with a system first.Can someone advise us? 

My system is built around the original BRIDGE controller and the Play 5 Gen 1 and has since added Play 1’s, Play 3’s, and a Playbar - all before S2 but upgradable. In 2020, I added a Move and downgraded it to be S1 compatible.  I don’t use voice command stuff and basically use the system for music.  It’s worked great I recently bought 3 more MOVES for outdoor use.  Before I downgrade them all to be S1 compatible to use with my current system I want to confirm I can upgrade them back to S2 if/when my Play 5 dies or no longer functions. 

just got my pair of Era 300 and set it up as surround for my Arc. After running Trueplay, loud popping sounds on both Era 300 and Arc. I have to turn off the audio source and close the Sonos app to stop the popping sounds. I got the latest firmware. The system works but can’t make use of Trueplay. Any suggestions or same dilemma as me. Thanks. 

Losing the will to live here. I Have Sonos Beam Gen2 and I cannot have any sound other than stereo pcm. My tv is PHILIPS - 50PUS7855 50" 4K . I have a hdmi 4k cable. I am using both the standard TV, Netflix and 4k blu Ray player and they're all playing stereo pcm only. I have set the audio to multichannel (bypass). Why is this happening? Any help greatly appreciated.
