I have an Era 300 connected via Wi-Fi, AirPlay and Bluetooth and controlled by my iPad.Considering changing my iPad.As in the past, I’ll use my Mac to backup my old iPad and then transfer content to my new iPad.Will my Era 300 just work again after I change iPad or is there something I need to perform on my new iPad/app/Speaker to get it to work again? Thanks in advance…. 

In order to keep the guest network separate from the Sonos network, does connecting a boost solve the problem?

I previously changed my email address with Sonos many years ago and in doing so had to start with a new account on here so lost all my previous history and I seem to remember issues with my system as well but can’t be sure.I’ve heard a couple of horror stories where people have changed their email address for their sonos system and ended up losing radio stations and other things in the system and it wasn’t straight forward for them.Is it any easier now in 2023? All I want to do is change my email address for my system and these forums which I believe probably use the same login details? 

When I try to access my Apple Music I am getting a message that says it can’t be reauthorized until one or more of my Sonos products is updated. What does this mean?I have Sonos One speakers and a Sonos Sound Bar,  I can access Pandora and Amazon Music but not Apple. 

I finally got round to getting my parents Sonos system around their house. Its working very well, with one exception : the Sonos Port. It is set up and registered in the Sonos app, with a CD player connected to the line-in connection on the Port. However, I cannot find the right command to play the Sonos Port source via one of the Era 100 speakers. The Port is in the "Lounge" and the line-in on it is called "CD Player", and the Era 100 is in the "Kitchen". I've tried commands like;  "Hey Sonos, play music from the CD Player in the Kitchen"  "Hey Sonos, play music from the Lounge in the Kitchen" "Hey Sonos, play music from the CD Player in the Lounge on the Kitchen" I've googled, and there isn't much on guidance on the right voice commands to use, and I've looked in the app and cannot seem to get them to work. I can combine the two sources in the app, but the CD Player music still does not play in the Kitchen. Can anyone give me some guidance on this? I feel like I am missing something

I constantly get error 30 when trying to update my ERA 300 - this is the first installation/setup, so I have been unable to use the speaker. Have followed all the SONOS support guidance, even replaced the speaker with vendor, but same issue

Hi, get atmos when using 4K disc but when on prime , app comes up with multichannel pcm 5.1 my setup is arc and two era 300s and LG Oled55c26ld

Sonos App has stopped searchin Spotify.  Both Sonos and Spotify are “working” -- i can play spotify content from within Sonos -- but I cannot seach from within Sonos.  I have (soft) repooted the speakers, rebooted my phone and removed and then readded the service,  None worked.

Please somebody please help ! Every now and then very often recently, the serriund how as (???) i tried every thing , hard reset , un bing the sub , un bing the stereos, nothing help , everything seem ok i play music in night and by the morning its again appear for unlimit time and then fix its self after a while please find me a solution 

Hi. I feel like I’ve scoured the earth and read every article and forum posting there is on the planet. I really want to utilize my Sonos system because I love Sonos.- Projector: Epson 5050ub (no built-in ARC)- Sonos: Beam Gen 1, plus One SL surrounds (planning to buy a Sub later)- HDMI Matrix: Brand AV Access, has ARC and optical.- Apple TV 4K, XBOX XIssues:Can’t do TV Setup in the Sonos app Can play audio from Apple TV but only via Airplay. Can’t use Apple TV remote to control volume.  Can’t play audio from XBOX whatsoever. Have adjusted some settings, forced HDMI in XBOX settings.Questions:How can I make all this work? Is an HD Arcana Fury required just for sound and Sonos setup? Is a Beam Gen 1 even capable of this?Any help is much appreciated. Thank you. 

Hello Team! We are letting out aparments on a short term basis.It would be good to have a service for our guests to enable them using our Sonos/Symfonisk system components for a limitied time without having admin right (meaning no access to confirgurations). This way they could link their audio services for a limitied time period which automatically would be deleted after they leaving. Do you have such a service now or plan it? Thanks, Robert

I have the Sonance SGS 8.1 system (w/SR 2-125 amp) in the pool area and a Sonos Beam Gen2 on my patio TV. Will a Sonos amp give me the ability to group the pool and patio systems together, as well as being able to run them simultaneously from different sources (for example, streaming Spotify on the SGS and watching/listening to the football game on TV)?

We recently bought the arc and 2 era 100’s. Not impressed by the 100’s as surrounds. We currently have them several feet behind the couch but will move them to the sides of the couch. Are the 100’s adequate for surrounds? Would we be better off returning the 100’s for 300’s? Getting a Sub and returning the 100’s, getting a sub and 300’s?  Mostly movie watching from an Apple TV 4K via Netflix or other streaming sites or rented Apple movies.  No blu ray player connected to this TV. Sony 75 inch 4k model. 

I have 3 x SONOS Play 1. I’d gone off SONOS for about 18 months and not used it as I found it too glitchy and didn’t like that you couldn’t play many Podcasts through it.I was delighted when I realised it has been integrated with Audible and BBC Sounds so I decided to set it back up again. As I have recently moved I did a factory reset on all the Play 1s so I could do a fresh set up on a new router etc.After what seemed like an age and a real hassle I managed to get it set up on my and my wife’s phone with both our Audible, BBC and Spotify accounts, success……However, when I came to use it the net day I opened the app and got an “unable to connect to Sonos. Let’s fix it” message. After following the instructions, no I haven’t changed my network settings, un-plugging all the SONOS and my router it fails to get back on the system.I’ve re-tried setting it up again both with and without doing a factory reset, it seems like each time I get it set up then re-open the app I get the same messag

Every time I connect to the Roam using the Sonos app the LED turns blue on the Roam. Seems wrong?  Seems the LED should be white on wi-fi, not blue.

I store my music on a micro SD card in MP3 format that is within my phone. Until today I have been able to open the Sonos app and within browse, select the "on this mobile device" option which then opens the micro SD folder and enables me to play my music through my 4 Sonos Play:1 speakers. Today, the "on this mobile device" option does not come up, so I am unable to access and play my music. I have changed nothing. Subsequently I have done an update, restarted my phone several times and restarted the Sonos system several times, but it's still not showing. Can anyone shed any light on this and help me get my music playing on my Sonos speakers again? I'm very frustrated! Thank you!

While I love the sound of my Sonos, I’m at wits end with it. Without fail it will lose connectivity to either one set or another. Everything is connected to a single network that is always on. But still, ‘we can’t find your system’, restart everything, restart your router, start the $%#@ over. So every week or two I have to set everything back up. Anyone having this issue and find a fix?The routine basically ends up with me having to do factory resets and then put the system together again. This will last for anything between a few days and a few weeks.Would greatly appreciate any help!!

Does the TV Level in the Arc app under Surround Audio adjust both front and rear surrounds or just rears?  

Hi everyone I currently play a Project turntable through my Sonos Port and love the sound.I would like to upgrade to TWIN Technics turntables plus a mixer.is it possible to do this ?The mixer would plainly be used to fade tracks in and out.Any help on this matter would be very much appreciated thanks.RegardsSteven

Hi, Why sonos did not put a optical input behind the sonos five devices instead of a 3.5 jack analogic. Analogic create a lip sync delay since opital cable does not. I need to buy a sound bar because that issue.

Maybe this topic has been discussed in some form before but I would like to see If I can get a definitive answer. My setup now is Arc + Sub + Era  300.  My Tv is a LG CX with passthrough enabled. So I just upgraded my Play:1 to Era 300 for surround sound. My main playback device is an ATV 4K with Infuse for playing back my Blu-ray rips. This all works great except ofcourse for Dolby TrueHD Atmos because the ATV 4K will convert everyyhing to LPCM. This is the reason I bought a Zidoo Z9X Pro with passthrough for movies with Dolby TrueHD Atmos. This also works great and the Era 300's sound amazing. So I was doing some testing with some Dolby TrueHD files (No Atmos! This is important) and I noticed that the Zidoo with passthrough is much louder than the ATV 4K + Infuse that outputs LPCM 7.1. Reduce loud sounds is off.  I know that in theory the LPCM stream should be identical to the TrueHD stream (just uncompressed).  Any ideas on how this is possible. I have a new pair ERA100, set up as a stereo pair with a sub-mini, and have the following two problems:-No 1: Playing music in more than one zone, the pair sometimes drop out of the group unexpectedly. They can be added back immediately and without any problem (issues like this in the distant past have been “networky”, and the missing zone had lost its connection to the Sonos network and would not add back without some hassle).Could this be related to a keyboard shortcut that drops a zone from a group? I am not sure, but it seems to happen when I am typing on the keyboard of the Windows computer with the S2 client.I am not in the Sonos software when typing and this cause/effect may be my imagination.No 2: Whether grouped with other zones, or playing on their own the right speaker sometimes goes dead. It is still showing up as a device in the software settings, but unplugging the mains seems to be the only way to make it pair back up. It ha#e only happened with one of the pair.ERA100 ca

It seems the integration with Radioplayer is broken again  1. The radio stations that I have added to my homescreen in the past do not start anymore clicking on them 2. Searching for radiostations in the old search do not include Radioplayer stations anymore 3. Searching for radio stations in the new search state that Radioplayer is not responding. The service status page does not mention any issue, which is obviously wrong.  

I have a playbase, a sub and 2 play 1s as part of my tv setup. The sound keeps breaking up when I’m watching tv. This seems to be even worse when someone else is browsing the internet. I have internet speeds of 60mbps so can’t see why this should be happening. Any suggestions on what I can change to stop this?
