Hi, 

my LG tv has auto updated its WebOS and after moving house I can no longer link the remote to the playbar, the old way of selecting ‘Pioneer’ from the universal remote option on the TV seems to have been removed.

the TV model is: 65UN7300PTC and it is running webOS 5.4.3-36 

Annoyingly I can link the LG remote to the playbar while the TV is off, but when the TV is switched on the remote seems to switch back to RF and no longer works.

 

does anyone have any idea how to sort this one?

 

 

Sounds like the TV needs to be reprogrammed to ensure the remote is on IR, and not on something else. It’s unfortunately more common for the QA folks to miss that switching process when they test at LG. Have you followed the Sonos FAQ on the smart remote?
