My Roam battery - According to the diagnostic I sent in to Sonos help - is overheating and shutting down the unit. When it is off the wireless charge for 10 minutes everything starts working normally. But this is totally frustrating for a $180 speaker. This keeps happening over and over. I’d like Sonos to replace the defective unit.

Have been having no luck connecting to Audible through sonos for a few days now.  On Android, started getting “unable to browse music - there was a problem connecting to Audible” errors whenever I tried to view the audible library through sonos.  Audible app was working fine on the phone, no network issues, sonos devices connected wired to router, other streaming services playing with no issues. Tried reauthorising the audible service through the sonos interface, would get a series of errors:“Check your network connection.  There was a problem getting started.  Please check your network connection, then try again.  If the problem persists and your network connection is working, please try again later” Would click “try again” multiple times, eventually the app would kick through to a chrome window, again internet fine, wifi fine, other apps working fine, other sites loading fine and streaming still working, and i’d get a connection error in chrome when trying to go to a na.account.amazo

It's actually unbelievable.I've never not had issues with it. From the app failing to open properly or update or connect to the Internet, to not being able to find items. Now I'm trying to add a sub and it tells me it can't verify the app that I updated within the last week. There is literally always something going wrong. Do you even have a UX team? Sack them all if so

I just purchased 2 Era 100 speakers, and it seems like the WiFi available to me isnt supported by the Sonos app. My general question is, if I am able to connect via Bluetooth only, is there enough of a drop-off in sound quality that I should get something else wifi compatable or wired? I am kind of moving around every few months, and therefore stay at a lot of hotels/resorts. It seems the hotel WiFi uses network access points unsupported by Sonos. The Era 100 can use Bluetooth, but apparently you still need to initially connect to some compatable WiFi to set up. Is it worth figuring that out anly being limited to Bluetooth use only?

I have this issue that the music is not audible via airplay from iPhone ( latest iOS ) but the airplay works very well with Sonos Roam from MacBook(latest OS) . they all are connected to same network. Can you please help me with this issue.Regards.

I setup a new router with a changed WiFi Id. I tried to update the network using Sonos 2 app but it couldn't find my speaker. I tried connecting the speaker directly to the router using ethernet and it still can't find the speaker. In the settings menu the System option is greyed out so I can't change the network settings manually! Why is sonos so bad at handling routine changes to the network!! How can I get my speaker connected?

I have a very new Sonos Arc and a Sony x800M2 which play through my 9 month old LG 65OLEDCS6 I have had no sound problems so far I bought my first 4k disc to play. Close Encounters. Hi there,I’m new here and I’m really hoping someone can help. I have a Sonos Ray which is working perfectly as a speaker over wifi but whenever I try to connect it to my TV it fails. My TV is a Panasonic LED TV, model TX-49FX555B.I’ve used two different Optical digital cables, including the one provided (with the little plastic covers taken off) and the app keeps telling me that no signal is detected. I use an Apple TV but I’m obviously connecting  directly into the TV (I’ve tried unplugging the Apple TV in case that was an issue) but the optical connection is just not working. Everything else is ok, the Ray recognises the remote (the light on the ray is working).Any advice would be greatly appreciated - I’ve been faffing around with it for ages!Thank you in advance, Tim.

If I pair 2 Sonos Moves into stereo, can I group that pairing with another Sonos (mono) speaker outdoors so that all three play at once, with 2 of them in stereo and the third not?

I pared my Samsung TV remote to my Sonos Beam, following the Sonos instructions exactly.  Ever since every time I use the remote to control the tv the actions are announced.  How do I stop this?  It is very annoying.

Sonos has stopped working with my Western direct nas drive which has my music on I cannot connect

Fellas, I need some advice. My living room size 13×16 is with 8ft flat ceiling. TV is Samsung curved 65 4K year 2017 with arc hdmi ( no earc)  Plan to get the Arc soundbar + gen3 sub + surround. However, I still cant decide between era 100 or 300 for rears. This is my concern: the only media source is a Roku Ultra 4K. I don't have bluray players or gaming console. If I understand correctly, streaming movies have compressed Atmos data so arc hdmi has sufficient bandwith. Since I dont have other sources, will I benefit from era 300 or should i just go with 100?For music, I use Spotify premium and Apple music. Same question: when using them as surround speakers, will I benefit from era300, or just use era100?Thanks in advance!

To start off... I know that the Move requires a 45 watt minimum PD port to charge the Move.  I have both an Anker portable battery and a charging brick that charge well above the 45 watt minimum. Also, the portable battery has a readout so I can see how much charge is being drawn. Both items charge the move when it has some charge in it, but when the battery is depleted they no longer work. Also, when the battery is depleted, the orange light comes on in the front, but does not turn off after 10 seconds like it normally should. My portable battery shows that it has a small draw (less than 1 watt, maybe coming from the lighton front?). When the Move has some charge to start though, the battery shows the normal 45W pull and I can watch the % rise on the app like it should.  It feels like it isn't  able to negotiate the power draw when it has no juice or something like that. Has anyone else seen this issue?

Alright so the biggest reason I went with Sonos was the ability to control the devices remotely and being able to lock other people out of changing the music. We use the devices at my Harley dealership and this is also creating a problem. There is 1 day a week where there is not an authorized user at the dealership to control the port. Well don’t turn it off or pause it right?? Well great idea but that doesn’t seem to work either. When we come in the next day and turn the amps back on the music has to be started from the app. Well on Sundays that’s a problem. I am not on the same WIFI. Is there anyway in the setting to set it up so it doesn’t stop playing or even better they turn on at a preset time and start playing the last source? When watching the demo video I was under the impression that I could monitor and play from a remote location. Any insight would be great! Other than this issue it is great!

no place to password the user name of the WIFII lived in a flatform, using the public WIFI. However, i failed to find how to connect the sonos connection amp to the public WIFI

Once I receive my discount code, is there a time limit by which I must use it? In other words, will the discount code expire?

Hello, I just pre-ordered a pair of Era 300’s, & would like to know if the “long cable” will be available soon. Or if any of the available long cables are compatible. Since my previous setup with the One’s required one long cable, thanks.

If I buy a beam gen 2, with my dolby atmos tv would I be able to play movies in dolby atmos with my sub and sonos ones as surrounds?

HOLA BUENAS TARDES TENGO UN PROYECTOR EN EL TECHO DEL SALON A UNA DISTANCIA MAS O MENOS DE 7 METROS DE LA BARRA BEAM2 , PARA LA IMAGEN UTILIZO FIRE STICK 4K Y ME GUSTARIA SACAR EL SONIDO POR LA BARRA BEAM2 PERO NO SE ME OCURRE COMO HACERLO, NO SE SI TENDRE QUE PONER UN CABLE HDMI LARGO , PERO LA BARRA SOLO TIENE UN HDMI , O UTILIZAR UN HDMI INALAMBRICO , O NO SE QUE OPCIONES ME PODREIS RECOMENDAR,GRACIAS

I have 2 x Sonos Play:1 s which apparently won’t connect to Apple Airplay. I like Airplay and use it with other systems. I was advised by Sonos that if I had a Sonos device that was compatible with Airplay I could group this with the Sonos Play:1s making them Airplay compatible. I have purchased a Sonos Roam SL in order to make the Play:1 airplay compatible and have grouped the 3 devices together. The result is not was expected, while the Roam SL connects well to Airplay, the Play:1s do not, they constantly connect and disconnect when steaming music, even when they are next to each other. What can be done to resolve this?

Hi everyone, Was wondering if anyone had similar issues?I bought refurbed Arc 2 months ago and it was perfect, was very impressed with the sound.Few days ago I noticed the volume level was lower and the sound especially bass was very tiny. That’s on all sources Tv, AirPlay, Apple Music etc. The Arc volume level is much lower now compared to other grouped speakers in the house. It sounds more like TV speakers than the Arc it used to. I am not sure if it happed after one of the updates. Tried to reset but even the sound when the Arc starts is much lower now and when I did last true play the test sounds were much lower as well. I also remember at the beginning the two side firing drivers used to produce quite a lot of bass but not anymore, it’s like they are just playing ambient sound now. Any thoughts? Thank you

I have experienced deteriorating performance on my system, especially bad this past week with sonos not being able to connect with spotify, and losing connection to my system … both on apple and samsung products. This has not been such an issue before. An occasional glip i can forgive, but this is getting on my nerves now 😡

I have had my Sonos system for many years and have uploaded and downloaded hundreds of songs into a sonos playlist. I find that the shuffle feature rarely shuffles the list very “deeply” and tends to play the same couple of dozen songs. Is there any way to teach the algorithms to shuffle through the list more thoroughly?

I am the main account holder, when on the sono app, when I search for a specific song, it doesn't play it, it selects artist of similar kind or same atlrtiwt but didn't song. This feature I expect if it was someone in my household sharing my account as a 2nd person but not the main account holder. Being the bill payer I expect to be able to play what I want. Any help appreciated

So I've been an avid Pandora user for decades. Now that I've gone 100% Sonos I'm having an issue.I can't use the Pandora app and cast to my system. I've tried uninstalling Pandora. It's on the same network as Sonos. I DON'T like using Pandora through Sonos because there's not as much functionality. For example can't see song lyrics or history of what's played in the current session. I'm using all the latest Sonos products and the S2 app. Please help🤔
