I have a Sub Gen 2. I want to purchase the arc and era 300s. Will this be compatible and a 7.1 experience?

I am using the Alexa skill Sleeping Jar for many years now, and I'm using it on my Sonos devices since day 1 of the Alexa integration.Since the recent FW update 15.6 the skill no longer works correctly. The noises of the skill are played back in an endless loop, meaning they play until you stop it. This worked perfectly fine also on Sonos devices, but after the recent FW update to version 15.6, the playback ends after one hour. I'm not sure if this is the length of one loop, or if it's a limit within the Sonos code, but it definitely is an issue introduced by Sonos FW 15.6. The issue is present on all my Sonos devices, while the skill works perfectly fine on my Echo devices.I am aware of the potential alternatives within the Sonos universe - none of them is an alternative for me. Let alone that I'm paying for the Pro version of the skill.Thanks for looking into this.

Hi,i would like to know wich service IS better.It seems like sonos voici control recognize more song by Deezer than Alexa xith Spotify.However Deezer app doesn't connect to sonos Era 100 like Spotify does.So i don't know wich one to choose

HiI have one arc, two one SL as rear and one sub gen 3 Now I want to use two era 300 as rear and move the two one SL to the front via grouping. Will that work???

I set up a Netgear mesh system around the home for better Wi-Fi coverage. I’ve spent almost 2 hours attempting to have my Sonos system run on the stronger, better coverage mesh system.  I’ve set all of my speakers, 8 in all, to the Netgear Wi-Fi, which has a different I.D than my main router. All my speakers showed up in my Sonos app, except my Move, and have played music through all speakers after changing the Wi-Fi to the Netgear mesh. Now when opening the Sonos app it doesn’t show any speakers set up in my system.  The app searches for my speakers but cannot find them after trying for about 15 minutes.  Do I need to do a hard reset?  I followed the instructions within the app to change my Wi-Fi.  At first it was successful.  Not so much now.  Any suggestions?  Thanks for any help.

I am getting versions of the error below constantly with Relisten.  I have tried different songs and get the error over and over again until, suddenly they just work.  I do not have similar issues with other services and there seems to be little rhyme or reason to when it works (20% of the time maybe) or when it does not work (80%).  

Cross posting here from the Reddit group.I just finished listening to the Q&A and reviewing a lot of posts in this group but I don't think that I fully understand.  (By the way, the link in the email didn’t work on my computer and I had to log on late using my mobile.)I want to use two ERA speakers as rear speakers to pair with my Arc and Subwoofer. I am interested in the ERA speakers because of the line in option to use with a CD player or turntable. I also want to use the system for Bluetooth streaming.I heard during the recording that the ERA speakers is the easiest way to connect other content to the overall speaker system, but then I also heard that the sound system was only one way from the ARC to the ERA speakers. From the comments in this group, it sounds like I can get this setup to work by doing different setups for each use case, but that is not clear.I do understand that streaming from my mobile will not provide Atmos level sound, but how do you set up the system to be

I want to use the 300’s as rear speakers in home theatre setup with Arc an Gen 3 sub. Rears must go on top of cabinetry with ample side spaces as suggested. My question relates to the sound quality resulting with only 12” above top of speaker as opposed to the recommended 24.” What are your opinions/experience with this situation. I hate to spend the big bucks if this will significantly reduce performance. Thanks for your input.    Ed

Are these two compatible through bluetooth to each other, before I purchase?

I want to move away from a traditional AV Receiver and hardwired non-powered speakers  in my home theater. How can I leverage a Sonos home theater surround system with multiple sources (Cable TV/Apple TV/Fire TV/Blu-Ray/LaserDisc/SVHS VCR) without an AV switching receiver/amplifier and still take advantage of a Sonos Dolby Atmos wireless experience?

Why in the Sonos advertising is the Sub Mini never recommend to be used with the Arc?

The newest Sonos app and iOS release removed the ability to control volume, pause/play, and track skip via the iPhone buttons and Lock Screen. So be it. On the iWatch, the apps don’t close and I keep my watch unlocked when it’s on my wrist, so I have most functionality available when I’m using Spotify, Apple Music, etc. When will Sonos develop an app for the iWatch that provides similar functionality when it’s open and active?

Playing vinyl via Port results in very poor sound quality on Move (1950’s portable AM radio level).  Vinyl via port on the rest of my Sonos system sounds great (Amp, One, Play 1, SL).  Move quality is great with other sources. Move is not being moved when moving from say Spotify to vinyl, so not signal loss. Since quality on 9 other Sonos devices is great, it’s not a record player issue.  Software is current.  It’s done this since day one couple years ago.  Confused. 

Quick question about adding a Beam to a secondary TV Thinking about adding a Sonos soundbar and may be sub to a 2022 LG tv. What I wonder is whether everything for TV watching, everything can be controlled from the TV remote once the IR link is working.By everything, I mean when TV is turned on using LG remote, does soundbar start working automatically and can the volume be controlled by the TV remote? Family using this set-up won’t want to use phone/Sonos App, or controls on top of soundbar.As always thanks in advance for your help.

I just purchased a pair of Era 300s to add to my Sonos collection. I can fully understand the reasoning behind the absence of sound from the front-firing speakers when part of a surround setup. What I cannot understand is why Sonos is depriving its customers of enjoying the Era 300's full capabilities when listening to music in FULL mode while still in Surround mode. The only way around this is to remove them from surrounds, lose the Trueplay setting, and use them as a pair, only to have to add them back to the surround setup and re tune Trueplay every time. It's not like they are €40 speakers. Paying a premium price for such a product should leave customers looking forward to more products rather than regretting their purchase.

Sonos Roam suddenly seems dead. Tried a reboot but light above Sonos logo does not appear. If hold back button orange light comes on for a while but then goes off. Can't do much else. Any ideas?

Context: Sonos Arc+sub+2xEra300 connected to a LG OLED C2. I want to keep my system compatible with Dolby Atmos as I paid big$ for it.Two simple use cases give no good result:It’s late, i want to use my Bluetooth headphones on my TV so that I don’t wake up everyone while playing my favorite PlayStation 5 game. We have a party, the kid wants to play Mario Kart on the TV. She wants the TV to play the audio from the game through the TV speakers while we still play our playlist during the party on the pleasantly loud Sonos Arc+sub+2xEra300And I don’t want to physically unplug the Sonos Arc each time I am in those two situation, as the cables are hidden in the wall.I sincerely believe I am not asking for something way out of the ordinary.But in both cases, the audio output of the TV switches back automatically to the Sonos Arc which is incredibly frustrating.Looking for a satisfactory workaround from the community. Hi!Today searching for new music services in the Sonos app, I've seen 2 TuneIn services. One called TuneIn and the other TuneIn (new). Do you know which is the difference between them? I had installed the old one and continue working.

Listening to BBC Sounds on Sonos One SL, using Android App. The BBC Sounds website allows you to scroll through any station schedule to play past programmes. Is there a similar facility with the BBC sounds on the Sonos App? Moderator edit: removed ALL CAPS

I have the soundbar connected to the Arc port on my TV. I tg rued playing something using my Apple TV and PlayStation but it says it’s playing in Dolby 5.2 and not Dolby Atmos.  Any idea where the issue might be?

I have been successfully playing Spotify on my Sonos system (10+) speakers since years.Suddenly over the last days Spotify is not a service on Sonos anymore and it also does not appear as one of the many services, that one can add in Sonos.This is the same for all the devices that we use to control Sonos and Spotify, i.e. Android and Apple.I can still play other services (Tuneln, Sonos Radio) on Sonos and I can also play music from Spotify on each of my mobile devices. But I cannot send Spotify output to Sonos system.Has Spotify or Sonos discontinued the integration?Does anyone else have same experience

Boy, am I confused.  I spent some time with Support and got my Arc working with my Sony Bravia and Directv box.  Two weeks ago when I first set up the system, everything was working fine, however for some reason, it stopped.I have the Directv box connected to HDMI 1 on the tv.  I have the Arc connected to eArc on the tv.  Now, when I choose the HDMI eArc input of the tv, all I see is the Sonos screen saver.  When I switch to Input 1, then I see the picture and get audio from the Arc.  Is this the was it’s supposed to work?  Also, when I hit the off button on the Directv remote, the TV shuts down and the solid white light on the Arc stays lit, as do my 300s.  Shouldn’t the light on the Arc turn off with the tv and box?  One more thing, when I first set up the system, I recall having to have the tv input set to eArc in order to see the picture and hear the Arc.  Am I mistaken?  I’m so confused...
