I have two sonos amps that drive outdoor speakers.  I want to bring my tv outside and watch a movie.  If I buy the beam gen2 and hook the tv arc hdmi to the beam, can I stream the tv audio through the beam to both sonos amps?  I don’t care about dolby or surround sound, I just want the tv audio on my outdoor speakers.  

Having issues with products droppingmy computer when connected to  wifi picks up the Move and Roam pairs but none others.When connected to ethernet they pick up all but the Move and Roam.My iphone will only pick up the MoveI have 11 pieces of Sonos equipment and feeling like this game of trying to get them to connect more than its worth.Hate to think this has been a waste of money. 

When you use Plex server on its own (e.g. iOS app) you can review your whole library by looking at its folder structure. However, when using Plex to play on Sonos the only options are by By Artist and By Album, both relying on metadata that are notoriously dodgy. Why can’t Plex on Sonos replicate this most simple function? This is the only way forward… I am still using S1 - not sure whether it is worth investing in an upgrade to S2...

PSA!  Sonos does not repair products out of warranty! You have to buy new. They will give you a 30% discount. My $400 Move will cost me $300 to replace it. I have over $4,000 of Sonos that is now basically Junk! No one can repair Sonos. 

Hi,I am looking to purchase additional SONOS equipment using the online 15% discount.Once received I'm planning on giving the items to a family member. Is this allowed for under the T&C's of the upgrade policy. I couldn't find an answer when I skimmed through the on-line T&C's.RegardsDanny

After years with only the occasional lost connection, my old S1 system cannot be found by the S1 controller, either on my iPhone or my MacBook Air.  Literally overnight -- boom; no way toreach any of the four series one Sonos components.  Have rebooted everything, reloaded the controllers -- nothing helps.Any ideas, anyone?

After the latest app update, when you tap on the Sonos Android app, it always wants to display an empty queue, even if the queue is empty or not in use. There is nothing to clear, edit, or save for later.  Why does the app default to showing something that is not in use when it really should be showing the devices on the network? To be clear, it only appears when you’re bringing the app back from sleep, but it’s annoying and not at all relevant, and it never behaved this way before. 

Hi,Since I proceeded to an S2 App update couple of months ago (Android 13, Pixel 7), now the list view is always triggered at the opening. This is very frustrating because I only use the widget on my home screen to directly jump on my device to manage streamed content... But I land on this useless list view (I never used it on my daily uses). Before that update, I was opening the app on the device control view. Is it possible to revert this behavior? Thanks for your help,Mike  

After a recent upgrade, when I open the Sonos app on my Android (Moto Edge) phone, the queue pops up. I don’t use the queue so it’s just an annoying barrier to entering the app to play my music. I can’t see any way to stop that from happening. Has anyone else solved this..? Thanks!

I've never used the queue function ever but it keeps popping up before I can get in to the app. Can it be removed? 

So odd question, but given that Sonos has removed the iPhone volume button functionality I am trying to see if I can come up with a solution or if I need to buy the Ikea remote.  Is there a way to have your TV run through arc and also use an old remote for volume for music?  I have tried my remote and it does not register when the soundbar is hooked dup to arc.  We use this soundbar for music all the time so I would like a better solution than the janky slider in the Sonos app.  Any ideas?  Thanks!

I have had an Apple TV+ subscription for about a year and have recently purchased a Sonos-based home theater setup (Arc, Era 300 and Sub Mini) and wish to experience Dolby Atmos content via my Apple TV+ subscription on my new system.  Can anybody point me to information about this?  So far, most posts point me toward Apple Music, or the Apple TV physical component, which are not of current interest to me.   TIA

Beam has stopped powering up.Can it be rescued?

I found a Sonos speaker in two feet of water, and it powered up right away. Is there a way to return it to the owner? I imagine they would be thrilled. My guess was that I might be able to do it by installing the Sonos app. If I turn the unit on and have the app search for the speaker, would it recognize that it is registered to someone else? Would they be notified automatically?

Update to 15.6 took 30 minutes. Why so long???Total of 32 Sonos units. Sonos S2 Using SonosNet and WiFi for Era 300’s & 100’s and Sonos Move x 2 Home network is Asus AiMesh (Main node x 2 sat’s with Ethernet backhaul)  Diagnostic 1561083275.Will call later to speak with Sonos Tech Support or you may respond to this post before that. I have two One’s that work great for music, but when I use them with AirPlay via Apple TV as an alternate output, they disconnect after 5-10 minutes - well, sound stops, but going to the Apple TV and Sonos App, it shows connected.All firmware is up to date on all hardware, Sonos + AppleTV.Have reset them all, unplugged, etc, still same outcome. So, I have an Arc, Sub Mini (and two Era 200s). I can't get the Sonos app to show the Atmos indicator from the Sonos app. I'm playing tracks that already to be Atmos from Amazon Music or Tidal.I reduced the surrounds to just leave the Arc and Sub Mini and it's the same.Do I need to remove the Sub as well? 

Is anyone else opening the Sonos app and it says Sonos like normal than just goes to a black screen

Hello all, I am having an issue with my library that is stored on a synology NAS. The NAS is located at work and I use my home PC to sync my music library to the NAS. The NAS backup is in a to-way sync. Problem is, multipe versions of the same playlist are appearing on the android app, often followed by a series of numbers like it’s doing some sort of version control. I have checked my sync settings in synology and the files themselves. There is only one .m3u file in the playlists folder. How can this be remedied? Sonos documentation is not helpful. Is there a setting in synology that is doing a hidden version control/backup? I cannot delete playlists that don't exist in my files.

Love the Sonos Ones I have in some rooms, great sound and (user) experience overall.Its a bit of a pitty to understand that the soundbars are not offering so far video passthrough, which is required to extend the compatibility to budget “friendlier” 4K projectors.Is there any hope to see a soundbar adding a video passthrough? (its a shame to read suggestions to buy a splitter no matter which brand - it just adds another device and more cabling which is not nice).Overall - there is a huge community of “home cinema enthusiast” that is left behind with this. thks in advance,Andres.

Hi, I have been using Sonos for over 15 years, was an early adopter. I have 3 Sonos Ones unit connected to my Sonos S1 App and they work fine. I have had an old ZP80 and ZP100 connected together to a S2 App. The latter used to work fine, and as I have changed my router it stopped working. If I wire it to the router it temporary works. Once ethernet cable unplugged it disconnects.  Can you please help? Many thanks!

I have (2) Era 100s as a stereo pair and a Sub Mini currently set up in my home office for listening to music while I work. I am looking at getting a Beam soundbar for the TV I have in this room and would like to create a surround sound system while watching movies. Am I able to create two “rooms” in the Sonos app that share devices: Beam + Eras + Sub for TV surround -and- Eras + Sub for music? The devices would stay put in both configurations. If I’m being silly and should just embrace the added audio of the Beam while listening to music, let me know.

I want to put a roam under the overhang on my front porch and charge via a solar panel similar to my ring camera. I’m live in Santa Barbara (home of Sonos!) so weather isn't that much a factor but my 2 questions are: Would the solar panel (2-5W) charge the roam? I wouldn’t be using it a lot but didnt know if it needs to be a certain watt size to take a charge.  can the roam remain “on” so i dont have to turn it on each time similar to my move or other sonos products. 

I recently had a new router installed.  The Sonos S1 app (on iPod touch) now can’t find my2 x play 5s, when I try to connect to existing system.Do I try to connect both 5s at the same time, or should I connect one then the second one.All my music is on the iPod so I don’t want to have to buy a new device and upload it all. Has anyone had this issue and if so, how did they resolve it.Any help appreciated, otherwise I’m back to playing cds 😩
