My sonos soundbar is since recently having issue’s with heavy bass. Wondering if this can be caused by a software update, don’t think that the woofer is blown up as most of the bass sounds ok. Only when playing certain movies I get a “funky” sound which is most likely the best described as Bass distortion. 

Probably best if you contact Sonos Support as they have diagnostic tools available to them, that people on the forum don’t.
