sonos roam not charging

When I connect the cable, it turns on the orange charging LED for a few seconds, about 8, then it turns off. I've already tried it with different cables and adapter

This is the expected interaction. The red light simply verifies that the charging process has started, it is not a continuous charging status indicator. You must open the controller App in order to check the charge level.

The unit should fully charge after a few hours.

And you should also be certain that the amount of amperage/voltage is enough. Some earlier USB chargers don’t provide enough power to the Sonos.
