Hi all, I have a large-ish music library, around 30,000 files, mostly mp3 and a few flac.I've shared the music folder on my PC and want to add it to Sonos app so I can play it on my speakers.I do the 'add library' steps, give the path, username, password and that's all fine.On the Sonos home screen I think see the Music Library with a message that it is syncing.So far, so good.However... When I return to check on it later, the Library icon is gone from the home screen and the library is not shown in settings.I go through the process again and the same thing happens, I've tried it 5 times now.I've rebooted the PC in case of any issues there (no errors showing there).I'm sharing this library successfully to Plex so I'm pretty sure my library / PC is not the problem.Also, I've added Plex to Sonos and that can play fine.I could just use Plex but I'd rather not be tied to it and would like to see the native Sonos library interface.I'm using the latest version of the Sonos app for Android 13

Using Sonos on Android favourites do not appear anywhere

I have had my play bar connected to my TV for many years and I did not think I had the audio cord connecting from my tv to soundbar. I remodeled my house and had my guys reinstall. However, now I’m not able to use my play bar and it doesn’t connect to my Sonos. Do I have to use the audio cord to connect my TV?

Hello! Our apartment complex has a sound system that we want to turn off completely. We keep setting the volume to zero or setting the music to off in the app but every morning at 0800 the system turns itself back on. Is there a way to turn it off completely?I’m not sure about the model aside from there’s two little Sonos boxes in a service rack with an app we control it with.

when playing music our ceiling speakers((Sonos) sound tinny.  They are off sonos amp.i have changed volume level on app and tried full and ambient. Also, sometimes after playing music home theatre sound as if surrounds dropped off.

Good morning folks, been a while.Have seen this is the past but only very occasional. But yesterday and this morning, it’s happening a few times.I have a Tidal playlist (also saved as a Sonos playlist) with Tidal as the source. It’s been playing to two Amp’s that then feed to some B&W in-ceiling speakers in the lounge and bathroom.But at odd times the past half day, both have started playing tracks out of an OST playlist at very random times.So at about 5.30 this morning we had Nicolas Britell’s Succession Theme and then just past 6.00 Johann Johannsson’s ‘The Beast’ from Sicario. If you going to woke by anything, they are both great tracks to be woke by, but I’d rather have the choice. 😀There have been no configuration changes or additions. SW is kept up to date and I’m not aware of any updates the last couple of days.Interested if anyone has any procedures or solutions that I can look at to resolve this.Many thanks in advance

Due to power & ethernet access, I want to place the Arc on the shelf above the TV. That shelf height is about 8feet. The back sofa is about 12feet from the TV. The room is 20feet x 20feet. Will Arc be good in this configuration?  Will probably add Sub+2xEra later. Thanks!  ps/I am replacing 20-year-old Bose Lifestyle 50 :). 

HiI have two Play 5 gen 1 speakers and a projector with HDMI ARC.I connect the projector to the input of an adaptor. Then from the output on the adaptor I have mini jack going to my PLAY 5 Gen 1...but I do not get any sound.I am wondering if it is possible at all to connect my PLAY 5 GEN1 to a unit that has HDMI ARC... even though I convert from hdmi to mini jackKind regards Martin 

Hi - has Spotify disappeared from Sonos for others? It’s vanished from my app - and I can no longer add it as a service, or play to Sonos from the Spotify app. Hoping a glitch as haven’t seen anything about this anywhere. cheers!

I just bought a new ARC to replace my PLAYBAR. My LG tv has an AC port but not an EAC port. Will ATMOS work when plugged to the AC port, or do I need to buy a new TV to enjoy ATMOS. All my viewing is done through my new Apple TV.  Many thanks for help/advice.

Our Sonos Move says it is playing music, but it is not.

Hi. I am using sonos 2 controller. Everytime I try and play a song through sonos it’s says the connection is lost. If I play it through Spotify and then attach it through Bluetooth through the sonos speak it works fine. This app is driving me mad. 

I have a Sonos Arc along with the gen 3 sub and 2 x Era 300’s setup in a group for home theatre.On my Tidal app when I stream an Atmos track to the sonos group it drops down to High instead of staying on Atmos.Tidal app is running on a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. 

Hello, I have a brand new LG OLED65G29LA and a brand new Sonos Arc.I have connected both with the included HDMI cable from Sonos. Then, I switched on the TV and set up the preferences for sound to HDMI.Then, I started the Arc the first time, added it to my Sonos system and the Sonos App asked automatically to serahc for an HDMI-Arc connection. But it fails. I did this several times.No success. I´ve tried both HDMI ports at the LG TV. Anyone an idea how to connect both in the right way? Thanks

I have Sonos Move and it will not charge. I have tried the one post that has been reposted over and over and it just does not work. It is completly dead. Any help on this battery issue?

Desktop and Android app have started telling me "spotify returned no results for _____ in artists. Please try a different category or a new search term" this morning. Has replicated on multiple devices. Only happens for Spotify and only in "artists", albums and playlist search still works. Any idea if I changed a setting or if something is wrong on their end?I’ve reset the speakers and restarted the apps.

Set-Up: 2 rooms w/wired Arc’s, sub and surrounds. 1 room w/a Beam.Network: Eero w/an extenderSystem has been working fine, with the occasional missing speaker after an update, but nothing like this. Updated Sonos app yesterday. Checked for a system (speaker) update, but didn’t find one in the app (Still unsure if there was an actual speaker system update). Everything worked as normal.This morning my app couldn’t find my system - went through the app prompts on how to correct and was able to get them all connected. Soon after, the same thing occurred and my app showed the “Unable to connect to Sonos. Let’s fix it” banner. After troubleshooting, I checked to see if there were any updates to Eero or Frontier/Router, and the latter updated software overnight.The really weird thing to me, is that even though the app can’t find the system, the speakers are all working with the tv (just can’t get S2 app to find the system).I’m not very tech savvy, but when I look in the Eero app, I can see al

I have my Gen 2 Beam connected to my Samsung model UN55CU7000FXZA via HDMI-eARC mode & I am wondering if some of the TV’s audio settings need to be disabled or adjusted for optimal performance?A also have an Apple TV, as well as Netflix, Amazon, Philo & a couple other streaming services & at times have issues where you can barely hear voices clearly, but have a door open, someone set a glass down on a table or other background noises & it sounds like the volume is cranked up waaaaay too loud.Any suggestions?Thanks!

My Sonos Beam was working perfectly with my Samsung tv until the other day and now it will still play music through the app. But doesn’t work with the TV. Have re set TV and the beam too. Doesn’t work. Please HELP!!

I have a Sony A80k. When I power up the tv and sat box it never comes up on HDMI 1, where the Arc is. I have a pic where it does come up. How do I get the tv to come up on sat box with Arc? 

Hello everyone, I've been a sonos user from the very start and have a 6 zone system ( 5 in house and one amp in garden ). The amps and play 5 work fine in the house no issues…. The Garden ZP120 has always been a bit hit and miss in terms of connecting to the house. Sometimes you can find it in the zone list sometimes not.  When you can find it getting it to join other zones is problematic also. Yesterday being a lovely day, we wanted to sit out and enjoy the music from the garden. It was on and off all afternoon and I got so frustrated with it I just turned it off and listened to it on headphones from my phone. I was using Spotify and the house speakers were fine but the garden was very intermittent. We normally have 35meg download but yesterday it was quite low at 7 meg download speed. I tried getting music from my NAS drive so we were not streaming and that was cutting out also. So I am trying to determine if its the internet connection or that the amp is too far away from any of the

I recently purchased a couple of Era 100s and set them up as surrounds with my Beam Gen2. I can’t shake the feeling that there is some delay between the Beam and the Era’s. This manifests in a slight echo, mostly noticable with 5.1 tracks that have a fair amount of ambient sound/music. Not sure if that maybe also due to my room acoustics. Also i had a couple of dropouts (Era 100s only) the other day.Sadly there is no way to check/debug connection issues as far as i am aware of due to the Era line not using SonosNet anymore or at least the Sonos Matrix doesn't show anything in my case. Is there any other way to check for issues or do i need to contact Sonos Support? Not sure if i'm imaging things here but it would be good to at least rule out any technical issues.My Beam is wired btw. and the two Eras are connected to a fairly good Wifi6 AP. 

Hi there2 days ago my Samsung tv stopped sending sound through my Beam and surrounds. I’ve tried all the previous suggestions such as TV software update, unplugging all cables from both sides etc. the App says it’s connected to the tv but still no sound. If I reset / unplug everything as above then the sound comes through again but once I turn the Tv off the lights on all speakers start to flash white and  it’s not recognised again once I turn things on again? any help would be appreciated before I end up resetting all speakers to factory reset thanks Dan 

I have a Sonos Arc, Era 300’s and Sub mini.I have them connected in a surround setup with my Sony X90J TV and they work beautifully…but I’d like to also connect them to my PC.Is it possible to have them connect to PC with ease and be able to swap between the 2? I had hoped I could just change my “input” on my TV remote from cable/Netflix etc. over to my HDMI 2.1 channel for PC and it would just automatically play? But it sounds like from what I’ve read that I have to use special equipment (e.g. connected to my motherboard, or cables, or Bluetooth?) I’ve read different things and am very confused.  Can someone please walk me through how to connect to PC and swap between TV and PC in the easiest way possible? Thank you for your time and consideration 🙏
