Controllers and Music services

We all pay to excess for a premium product when the fundamentals of that product doesn’t work… and it gets worse.  For weeks, if not months now, music is been unable to play through my system due to song not encoded correctly. Is there a fix on the horizon?!Every playlist, album or artist will play a song, maybe play 5 seconds of a song before stopping or skip the song completely because of an error above. This is whilst playing YouTube music through both android or iOS app. Speakers have been restarted or attempted to play on different speakers in the house to no avail.  I am currently using a move or roam around the house as a very expensive Bluetooth speaker or radio. I’ve read that Apple Music users are also having a similar issue, but how much longer can people continue to pay for a product where it’s one function does not work… SORT IT.

Sonos is unable to play SiriusXM stations in the early morning.  Later in the morning and the rest of the day its no problem.   WTF?  

Im able to subscribe and store in my YTM library podcasts.  However, I can’t find them in my YMT service on Sonos. Am I missing something?

I want to subscribe to Sonos Radio HD.    However, when I go to https://www.sonos.com/en-us/myaccount/user/subscriptions, I’m getting an erroneous message that “*Looks like you already have an existing subscription to Radio HD through Apple. You can access that subscription through your Apple ID settings.” However, the Apple Sonos subscription has already expired.  There is no more active subscription through Apple. Please advise.  

I can’t figure out how to program the sonos to start and end automatically.  IE:  start playing pandora at 8 am and end at 5 pm.  The system is accessed via wifi and controlled thru a mobile phone.  

Hi, the app is asking me to reauthorise my BBC sounds account. But it is auto selecting a random app to try to open what I presume is meant to be BBC sounds, and so it doesn't work. It doesn't allow me to select any other app e.g. chrome. Does anyone know how to override this auto selection?Thanks!

Sirius channel stopped working. Deleted it. Went back to add it and it won't add to the channels list.

My sonos installation was stable with S1 version. My phones/pads obliged me to upgrade to S2, impossible to use S1 anymore. Only the play:1 has been detected after installation… I used a sonos bridge which is no more usable ! It is said on the website that S1 is still useable, but it is not the case for my apple devices. Has anyone got an idea or experienced this problem ?Thank you for help 

When I kill the Sonos App, the AMP will not stop playing music. I DO NOT HAVE THE QUEUE ON. I literally have to kill power to it as it is now my whole home audio source (line out, don’t judge… this is how it has evolved). 

I have a fairly extensive system but get buffering when streaming Deezer, Amazon, Apple despite reasonable download speeds of 70/80mbps. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thank you.

The Sonos app is on my phone. Once I leave my WiFi area and come back the same speaker is always missing from the app - my Arc. If I start up music on other speakers, the Arc will play as well, but it is not seen by the app. I have to unplug it and then sometimes it will be seen again. If not seen, I search for products and then it is found and can be controlled. 

I recently discovered that the actual TuneIn service will be replaced by a new one which is, for the record, not free anymore. I used the actual TuneIn to add my own radio station (rockradio.com) and was perfectly happy with it for many years. These streams are defined as https links. The own radio station was the only feature I used. I tried the new TuneIn and couldn’t find an equivalent feature.I have called the support and the only thing they were able to say is that the actual TuneIn service will disappear from my system anytime soon.I have also on my network a Synology server which provides the music library service. Maybe is there a solution through the Synology?Has anyone a solution to keep the own radio station service without using TuneIn?The own radio station was the reason I bought a Sonos system; it could be the reason I’ll get rid of it. I’m quite surprised that adding such a basic thing as a stream is not a native feature of the Sonos system

Hello,I’m asking a question since the existing topics are rather old…I have a “Sonos playlist”, created by me, which contains files that were located on some network path on my NAS.Now I changed my NAS (different name, also slightly moved the music folders, so for sure can’t re-use the old playlist...) and I was wondering if I have any at-least-partially-automated way to update my playlist, eg:exporting it in some text format, replacing some path portions in a text editor, and the importing it back. exporting it, somehow creating an m3u out of it and importing the m3u…Is there any such possibility ?Thank you.

I am  unable to access “Live and Extra” Sirius XM Channels on either my Apple IPad and Samsung A7 phone.  I am able to access “Recent” Sirius XM Channels on both platforms.  When accessing the entire list of Live and Xtra channels, I get the message “Sorry something went wrong, please try again”. The Sirius XM app (without Sonos) works perfectly on both my IPad and Samsung phone.

For the past 3+ months, I have been unable to add Telmore as a music service.I keep receiving this error:“FejlBeklager, vi oplever i øjeblikket problemer med adgangen til servicen.”Which translates to: "Error. Sorry, we are currently experiencing problems with access to the service." I have attempted to update the Sonos App and even uninstalled/reinstalled it, but it dod not solve the issue.What should I do?" 

Hello,I have an Android and an iPhone cellphone. My youtube music playlists with 100+ songs are shown with an infinite scroll just fine on Android. On iPhone though it stops loading at a fixed number, like 100. So you can only see the first 100 items of your list on iPhone.

Out of the blue, my S2 system no longer connects to My Cloud, where all my digital music files are stored. The drive itself is fine and functions independently. When I select My Cloud Home I get an error message telling me the My Cloud account needs to be reauthorized. When I click ‘reauthorize’ it brings up a new screen telling me my account cannot be found. Interestingly, when I go the the list of a-z Music Services listed in the system menu My Cloud Home is not there. I’ve got used to the seemingly endless full outages with  my cloud services on sonos but according to the website, everything is online. 

Years ago, I purchased a sonos setup that included a playbar, 2 Play:3 speakers, and a Sub. I believe the purchase was made around 2014/15. I know I have outdated speakers, but they still sound fantastic, and they work great. Until today. I can no longer get any audio out of the of the speaks. The S1 app says all 4 components need an update, and takes me to the new sonos app to do so. When I download the new sonos app, it says my speakers are not compatable and cannot be updated in the new app. I’m now stuck with speakers that don’t work, needing an update with no way to update them. Anyone know how to resolve this? Is there a way to resolve this?Any help would be appreciated. I have zero desire spending thousands of dollars upgrading to a new sonos system just so it can talk to a the new app. 

Is it better to use the Tidal App or the Sonos app for the best music quality? 

I do not see a way to play Pandora Podcast on my Sonos 1 APP. it there a way to play Pandora podcast ? I’m having issues with the new “TuneIn” on Sonos1  Thanks

Stingray services won’t play. It opens but has lost all my history, favourites, etc. It shows only Recommendations and My Music, and when I open one, it says “unable to browse music.”I have deleted and re-added Stingray numerous times. I’ve reauthorized the Stingray. I’ve updated the Sonos desktop and other device apps. Both apps are on the same wifi network in my house. Nothing has changed except I’ve lost access to all the Stingray channels. Why????

Hello everyone, after adding pandora to the Music Service, my iPhone get confused and it looks like Pandora app and the Sonos-2 app try to overwrite echoer. I can’t find a straight and consistent way to skip song, change volume, change sound specs form either app.So, what is the best way to play music and podcast apps: from the original app on the phone, or from within the Services & Voice inside the Sonos App?Should I delete the pandora on my iPhone and keep it only in the Sonos app, keep it in both in the phone and in the Sonos app, or delete the Pandora inside the Sonos app “Music and content” and just keep it on the iPhone only :?) I hope it make sense THX.System specs: iPhone 11 latest update, Sonos Amp updated firmware, Sonos App-2. THX again BTW is overcast app supported by Sonos “services & voice”?

Whenever I use the new search I get hit with this error message that says “Your request can’t be processed at this time. If the problem persists, please check our Service Status page.”  I switch to classic search and it goes through and endless loading loop of the search results. The only way I’ve been able to successfully use my system is by removing all music services except for one so I can quickly tap on it before it clears. It doesn’t matter which music service i search for. I’ve tried updating the app, rebooting my system, and a hard reset. It still works. I’ve talked to one person who said it’s my phone but it happens on iPad as well. Haven’t tried the desktop version. The service people I’ve spoken to just have me switch my channel back and forth. If it helps it only helps for an hour or so.Has anyone dealt with this before?

spotify says it's connecting to my sonos one on Windows 10 desktop app one but won't connect help! Windows just updated. I reinstalled both apps and did a hard restart with my WiFi and restarted my PC.

Hi,I disabled the Touch Controls and Led light for a Sonos IKEA bookshelf in the app. During a reset, the speaker disappeared from the app. Now I can neither control it through the app nor can I perform a factory reset. It’s completely lost.How can I get it back?
