“All of a sudden” my fully updated Android sonos s2 app can’t find the long existing system.  Right now a laptop and and ipad connect and use the same sonos system on the same network that the android app has been using.  I uninstalled/reinstalled the android app, rebooted my phone.  Nada.The only thing I can think of is that I used the phone’s bluetooth connection to link spotify to an amp, something I had not done before.  Currently I’ve turned off spotify and bluetooth, still no connection.  Thanks for your help.

I have repeatedly changed the sharing settings, firewall settings, etc and get it to work, but it fails the next time I try to use it and gives me the ACCESS IS DENIED error. Ive reset everything, twice. I have a Boost wired directly to the router. Any ideas/help is appreciated.

I have a customer with approx 11 sonos amps, play bar, arc, subs etc. Frequently, he gets a message that the song cannot be played. All of the devices show online and he has to reboot the network for it to correct itself. He is in Canada using Cogeco fibe as his ISP. Has anyone seen this before? Any help would be appreciated.

I have installed Sonos 15.10 but my Sonos Mac software says I have another update available. On trying to install, everything just stops and I need after 20 minutes or so, to force-quit.I using Sonoma 14.1.1I had this issue on the last update and someone from Sonos provided a direct download link which worked. Grateful for any help please ? Thx Mike 

With the latest update from Sonos, the controller update fails.I have read the other threads on this topic with the latest one being 7 months old, so I am raising again hoping the more Sonos sees/hears this topic in the public community, the more likely they will be to find a true fix to the issue.One thread (older) said that if using a shared library, you’d have to wait for a proper fix; all others state to delete the app, download latest version from Sonos and reinstall.  This is a “jinky” “fix”. Running MacOS Ventura 13.4.1 and SONOS controller version 15.5 and latest Sonos update (from 25-Jul-2023) fails - see screenshot. I have had so many problems with Sonos I have considered just abandoning the product, selling the speakers off.  Their answer is always it’s the network and ip addresses.  I’m using a solid fiber network to the house and for the WiFi router I have assigned static IP addresses to my Sonos product, disabled my 5gHz WiFi to ensur

Hey,I can’t see another forum chat on this issue, but, I have Soundcloud Go+, I can search Soundcloud for music, but I can’t see any likes (Unless I’ve liked them in Sonos App), playlists are missing, Feed is missing, New & Hot there is nothing and the DJ’s I’m following are not showing either.I’ve integrated and can use it, but as I said, I’m not seeing anything else.

Hi all,Has anybody else experienced a Slow, laggy and poor refresh rates on the S2 app after the latest update (Android November 2023)? Note the app itself was updated a few weeks back but I had a system update today and the app itself was somehow effected.A few examples of what I'm experiencing:1) A laggy experience or lower refresh rate when scrolling through any tab2) The My Sonos tab is refreshing the artwork every time I land on the page3) Track listings disappearing when i go back to a playlist while scrolling It's not unusable but pretty terrible. I'm using the Android app version 15.10 build 76246300 on my Samsung Z fold 5 running Android 5.1.1

Hi - I got a new iPhone and, though I’ve been subscribed to Sonos Radio (and have been paying for it), the App does not “recognize” this. Meaning, when I play using Sonos Radio, I still have adverts and can’t skip songs. I’ve tried multiple times re-authorizing Sonos radio, have deleted and reinstalled the app, canceled my subscription and re-subscribed, but nothing. My system is up to date. any ideas? Thanks!

Septembet 15 2023 BBC sounds has just stopped working on Sonos 2 system. Asked me to reauthorise which I did and the BBC app seemed to think it had connected / authorised fine. "Go back to your sonos app"Sonos still says I need to reauthorise; did it  again same result. Tried deleting the BBC SOUNDS from sonos and started from scratch. Same problem…Anyone else experiencing this ? Any advice gratefully received.Naunton

After the 15.2 Update (build 72239150) .  Some of my Sirius XM channels, will play, others will not.  Same problem whether I use the mobile app or my desktop controller.  

So I’ve been having this issue for a couple months now. I’ve seen some of the other threads. I do NOT have cross fade turned on. Spotify regularly skips when playing from Sonos app, and gets really bad with specific songs which I don’t get at all. I’ve restarted router, unplugged all products, and I’m considering downgrading to S1 to see if that helps. Any advice or tech support is greatly appreciated.

There seem to be a million threads on converting/exporting playlists out of Sonos, but I want to convert a playlist from Spotify into a Sonos playlist.  I want to do this so that I can add songs to the playlist that do not appear on Spotify.

I would like to place a feature request for more flexibility regarding Hi Rez music streaming please . As bandwidth restrictions for most  people are not as onerous as in the past, there isn’t a need to brute force restrict streams to only 24/48kHz .  it would appear that hi rez only gets decoded by Sonos  at the 24/ 48kHz rate if the stream is just that . Anything above that gets downgraded to CD standard .   Can’t we have the functionality of say Netflix which can assess what a customer’s bandwidth is and then allow program resolution accordingly ? I’m sure S2 compliant products have hardware more than capable to decode at any rate . It’s a shame it’s not been utilised at the moment . 

I am considering buying a pair of the 5 speakers. I have not totally wrapped my head around the usage on a day-to-day basis. I think the Sonos app is used to set stuff up, like EQ, but from then on you just use the iOS app of choice - e.g. Music, Sonos, whatever. You basically forget the Sonos app until something changes. My concern is the wife having to do anything more than firing up Music and playing.

Is Sonos ever going to get their Boost to work with Mac’s Ventura?  If not just say so and too bad deal with it!  This has been going for like year now.  Is this Sonos just trying to get me to buy newer HW like HP did?

My S2 app on iPad keeps crashing. S2 app is up to date, as is iOS.Anyone else having this problem?

I’ve gone through “Let’s fix it” countless times. It says it can’t find the network. The cell phone and Sonos are on the same network, but it always says they are not and wants me to “fix it”, but that sequence of steps doesn’t work. However, If I unpower the S3 speakers and plug them back in, the S2 app on my Samsung works until I’m no longer using the app. It would be helpful if the app said what network it thinks Sonos is on. How can that be checked (it’s not in the app details). I have three laptops that see the network just fine same as my cell. I do have another network, but so what? What do I have to do to get the app to work consistently? Please consider fixing the app so the Sonos network can be entered manually without going through “fix it”. 

For every additional track i “like”, Sonos drops one off at the end of the list so all I see are 195 but I ghave much more.On the Soundcloud app, I can see all my “liked” tracks.Any idea what this is all about?Thanks in advance,

I have changed from a Windows Server2012 to a Synology DS920+.Sonos can successfully index its Media Library from a music share on the Synology NAS with or without the SMB1 NTLMv1 tweaks mentioned frequently in this forum. From that I agreed that Sonos has successfully removed the SMB1 issue. I am using the S2 controller. Because I have a very large music collection, only a subset (wife’s classical) is on the share and is available via the Sonos Media Library. I successfully accessed the full collection via  MediaMonkey configured as a media server on the Server2012.I’ve set up both the Synology Media server and a Plex Media server, neither of which appear in the Sonos music sources list. They do appear (and work) on all other devices on my LAN (PCs and TVs).A Twonky Media server on an antique Zyxel NSA310 likewise does not appear as a source on Sonos.Currently the only way that I have found to access my whole connection is to run MediaMonke

As of this morning I get the following message when trying to play ‘Virgin Radio UK’ on S1:“Unable to play Virgin Radio UK - the song is not encoded correctly.”It is working as usual on S2.I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the Virgin Radio service on the S1 app.

I was having trouble playing podcasts through Pocketcasts on Sonos. This happens regularly and usually reauthorizing the app fixes it. Not this time. So I tried removing Pocketcasts from Sonos and adding it back. I get the following error message:Error. Unable to add Pocketcasts accountI'm logged into Pocketcasts on my phone and it's working fine on every other device EXCEPT Sonos. I've also tried resetting the Sonos app and restarting my Internet router. According to Sonos, Pocketcasts is not experiencing an outage.Any ideas?  

Hi all. Hope you can help. I bought playbar and trying to listen music from my iPhone 6s throughout playbar. Like YouTube or my own one. But I can not connected. I tried airplay but don’t find sonos playbar on my phone. Has anyone got any ideas to fix this. Many Thanks in advance. Patryk
