It’s been a month since the official release of iOS 17, and many month of beta so developers could update their software.Trueplay still doesn’t work.Vote up if you think that we need an explicit apology and a date for when it will be fixed.  

I keep having problems with my sonos app. At least 3 or 4 times a month it will not connect to my speakers. I am using play 1 and play 3 speakers.  The app says unable to connect to sonos. If you go through the trouble shooting it tells you to turn off router and and speakers and start again with set up. But this means resetting all Wi-Fi passwords on other devices as well. It is not just one phone not working with sonos but two phones and two iPads. Surely you shouldn’t have to keep resetting speakers and router 2 to 3 times a month. The sonos app is the only one on my phone or iPads that doesn’t work properly. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

I have an Android phone. I stream Spotify to my Sonos speaker. Works wellRecently I subscribed to apple music because of their handling of classical music. Their is no connection button on the Apple app to connect between my phone and Sonos. Any idea how to do this?

I have an alarm set in the Sonos App to play Apple Music to a pair of Sonos Ones in my Bedroom.  It just played a default alarm this morning rather than music.When I checked the app there was no linked Apple Music in the App, nor was there an option to add any music services.   I deleted the app on my IPhone, reinstalled same result no Apple Music service and not available to add. 

This is beyond a joke, trying to choose music this morning and a huge advert pops up in the Sonos app. Again!Firstly, I never opted into advertising. Why would I want a part of my hi-fi system to show me adverts?Secondly, I found the setting months ago in the app preferences to “allow pop-up message” and turned this off. To reiterate, I never turned it on in the first place.So why am I still getting adverts? The setting is still off, I checked.For anyone reading this who doesn’t mind advertising, that’s fine. Totally your choice. But Sonos is losing my trust again (which was never fully restored after the upgrade debacle). It’s my phone, it’s my hi-fi system and I should not be forced to see unwanted adverts.I assume there is no personal data processing involved as, having already opted out, that would be a breach of UK (and EU) privacy laws.Anyway, how can I make sure that the right people at Sonos see this and fix it permanently? 

Just applied recent Sonos App update on up-to-date mac (Ventura 13.2.1 (22D68)), and right at the end the Mac popped up an error that the upgrade was blocked by apple Security and Privacy setting.When I clicked on it, it just went away.  App seems to function, but leaves a mystery of what went wrong, and raises the spectre of potential future problems from a partial update….

Hello, although the Amazon Music service is already available in my area, it is still not visible in the services in the Sonos application? My region is Poland. When can I count on some updates and Amazon Music for my region? Thank you very much for your help.

I can't use the search option to find audio books in my library in the Sonos app. It just gives YouTube or music answers. I have a big library and want to listen to an old book again but have to scroll waaaay down to find it. I end up just listening on my phone and not with my Sonos system as it's such a hassle.Is there a way to quickly find a title or author from my library inside the Sonos app??

It appears that the Sonos App is $9.99 per month. I don’t want to pay for that service. Can you please advise me on how to set up my Era 100’s with paying a $10 fee every month? Makes no sense at all. Thank you.

Iam getting this ONLY with YTM with pair of PLAY1’s, stereo pair or individual.On new rick astley album (or new Kylie album) only half the tracks will play, and they will always play no matter what, the other half always fail. Can’t see how this can be random interference... I have had to create a playlist of only the tracks that will play.Radio streams ok.

I have a Sonus Port hooked up to a vintage amp and a stereo pair of Era:100 speakers elsewhere in the house; all is working fine. There's an old unused iMac in the house running OSX Sierra 10.12.6 (it won't update beyond that) and I can see the rooms with Sonos gear under the iMac's speaker options (Internal Speakers, Kitchen, Living Room).I haven't been able to get iMac sound through the Era pair ("Kitchen") nor the Port ("Living Room") whether that's local audio files, or a webstream (Internet Archive; BBC sounds). I have installed iTunes and the sample library file doesn't play to the Sonos gear either. Everything on the iMac plays through its internal speakers.I'd be grateful for any suggestions for any tweaks or configuration settings that might allow me to get the iMac running as a Sonos interface -- essentially a Spotify player -- as an alternative to the Sonos app for sig oth.

Trying to find IP address… For whatever reason the MAC address doesn’t show up on my switch/router tree, but I know the speakers are connected. App version 15.9 iOS  

HelloMy question is:What determines the order in which the speakers appear after I group them? I have 6 connects with 4 speakers so 24 speakers total. So in the room called kitchen I have 4 speakers in the room called bedroom I have 4 speakers etc. 6 rooms x 4 speakers... When I start with kitchen, then add bedroom, then living room the sonos S1 app ignores the order I choose them in. So when I go to adjust the volume the kitchen will appear towards the middle of the speaker order even though I want it to appear first. Meanwhile the office will be at the top of the order even though I want it to appear last, (for example.) I have tried alphabetical order, numerical order, rebooting each device in the order I want them in, asking s1 to please respect the order I choose, moving the connect boxes from one amp to another, bringing them closer and further from the router, using optical cables on some of them and not others, I cannot figure out how S1 determine

How hard is it for a company of this size to stay on top of iOS firmware updates? When iOS 17 was released and I purchased a new iPhone 15 Pro Max, the Sonos app wasn’t compatible, and TruePlay tuning was disabled—for what seemed like forever. Now we’re back to the same thing with iOS 17.1–after a lengthy beta cycle and plenty of time for Sonos to make adjustments to their app to be compatible way ahead of the firmware release date, here I am with two new ERA 300s to go with my Arc and sub, and I can’t tune them because the existing app on the App Store still isn’t compatible.  Sonos, have you gone to the review section of your app on the iPhone App Store, changed the sorting view from most relevant to most recent, and perused the thousands of one and two star reviews you have, along with the nearly infinite number of consumer complaints that continue to post day after day, month after month? I am having trouble at a client location where Sirius XM radio stops playing without any warning.  This can happen if a device updates and can happen for unknown reasons.What I would like is a way to set a SONOS zone to a station and have it play continuously, forever, as long as it is able.  That means, if a source is interrupted or stopped for any reason, it would resume playing on its own.  It would repeatedly try to re-connect to the stream.  Since the looping playlist button is grayed out during station play, perhaps replace it with a persistent play button to effectively do the same thing and play forever.I have seen a lot of complaints about Sirius XM radio and even Spotify on these forums, and this is a simple feature SONOS could add to their devices that would band-aid this problem for everyone - if people have some reason why their stream is interrupted, it would auto-resume, perhaps with a 1 minute retry interval.Does SONOS read these forums and use t

My Calm Radio stations stopped playing through the Sonos app this afternoon. They were working a few hours earlier. I thought I would delete and re-add the Calm Radio service in the app to see if this would resolve the issue,  and when I tried to add it again it had disappeared from the list of available services. I am a paid Calm customer and it is working through all other means, including the Calm Radio app and Roon. Does anyone know what's going on? [EDIT: A few minutes after I posted this a Sonos app notice  informed me “Calm Radio is experiencing a full outage” and it now appears as “down” on the Sonos status page. Oddly I am listening to Calm through Roon during this “full outage” and am having no issues playing stations through the Calm app.]

Hi,I have decided to update my system to s2 and run the compatibility check which reports my Connect cannot be updated. I decided to create a separate system for my PlayBase & Beam but getting response  that they are both incompatible. Please advise

Many threads are talking about the own internet streams one cannot define anymore due to the end of the ‘old’ TuneIn. One solution was to push those streams to the favorites.Ok, so far not so good.One question remain : how to edit the so called favorites if those internet streams are modified in one way or another?

As I understand, playing Tidal HiFi Plus through the Sonos app gives us max CD quality audio, up to 16-bit, 44.1 kH.But, when using the Tidal App on a Samsung Smart TV connected to a Sonos Amp over HDMI, what audio quality can then be passed through?Same question when having Tidal App on an Apple TV 4k with HDMI to the same Samsung TV and then HDMI to a Sonos Amp. There is an “update now” button on my S2 Controller on my MacBook but I am having trouble updating it. I have not had issues in the past updating the app on my MacBook. I keep getting an error during the install process that says “Sonos Update Failed. An unexpected error occurred. Please try again”. (Screenshot of Error attached) I have tried it again several times and keep getting the same error. I am running Mac OS Ventura 13.0.1. Anyone know a fix?   

Hello everyone,A few months ago Sonos put out an update (I have no idea which one, but I’m sure they do!) which has effectively stopped my personal music library from indexing.I can run the “Update Music Library” as many times as you wish, and I systematically receive the same error message:The music is stored on a NAS - which has no issues.The network is working perfectly well.This is a known issue with Sonos - I have sent logs and talked to their Service Centre.I simply can’t understand why this issue is not being dealt with! They have known about it for months, but no answers?Getting seriously worried that their teams are focusing only on streaming, and abandoning the thousands of clients like myself with libraries  to which we hold dear, and want to be able to use as one of our sources of listenin

Lately, it has happened at certain times of the day when streaming radio on Sonos (TuneIN), I lose the connection. Sometimes I hear signals from another devices in the group. It's almost like it's a bad internet line, but I have fiber with 1GB both ways, so capacity shouldn't be an issue here. Have tried changing to different channels in the app without this helping the problem. I have tried to change radiochannels and to stream from Aplle music, with the same problems. Any ideas what the problem is?

Hi - is there any way to work around the seemingly arbitrary limit on the number of radio stations I can save to My Sonos? I have reached the limit which is quite annoying. 

I’m in Ireland and using a Sonos One. Under Services and Voice==> Music and Content I have Audible. When I click ‘Add a Service’ to add Amazon Music I have 79 options, but ‘Amazon Music’ is not one of those options.Would anybody know how I could make it appear?
