I can't use the search option to find audio books in my library in the Sonos app. It just gives YouTube or music answers. I have a big library and want to listen to an old book again but have to scroll waaaay down to find it. I end up just listening on my phone and not with my Sonos system as it's such a hassle.

Is there a way to quickly find a title or author from my library inside the Sonos app??

Hi @anneh247

Thanks for your post!

I refer you to my related reply on the following thread:

I hope this helps.

Thanks, it was a bit of a run around to get it going, had to hop out of my TV (the only device it found, nothing called Sonos showed up) but my TV is outputting it's sound to my Sonos sound bar. So that was working.

Then to get it to ALL of my Sonos multiple speakers I had to go from the Audible app to the Sonos app and go to my TV and add that book playing to play everywhere.

Just in case anyone else needs to do it.

If you don't have another device working with your Sonos system like my TV is I don't see how you get it to work with the Audible app. It doesn't seem to see the Sonos speakers. Probably because Amazon want people to buy echo or something. Fun times. =/

I’d expect that the two situations are unrelated. If you’re having difficulties in ‘seeing’ other Sonos devices on your controller, I’d encourage you to open a new thread, explain your setup, etc, and give the community an opportunity to assist with that issue. It should be fixable.

It's literally the steps suggested above. In the Audible app when I tap on the book player main page to " cast to devices " Audible only finds my Android TV. No Sonos or anything else comes up as an option. Tried twice.

Works for me as my TV outputs to my Sonos sound bar so I just add the rest of my speakers to what that device is playing with the Sonos App.

If I didn't have the TV though the Sonos system wouldn't work with the Audible app following the steps provided.

Hi @anneh247

Sorry to hear of the issues you had. I recommend a reboot of your router - please turn it off for at least 30 seconds.

Please also ensure that you have the Audible service added to Sonos and signed into the same account as your Audbile app.

If you are still unable to link to your Sonos speakers from within the Audible app, I recommend getting in touch with Amazon/Audible Support for further assistance.

I hope this helps.

My Sonos links fine. This is the Audible app specifically following above steps. Anyway found the workaround through my TV as above.thanks.
