Voice control and smart home

Hi Sonos Community,I'm hoping you can help with a challenge we're facing in our home.We want to play music via Spotify using Google Assistant as voice control in multiple rooms simultaneously on our Sonos system. Unfortunately, we've discovered that a single Spotify account can only play music in one place at a time. This limits our ability to enjoy music in different rooms simultaneously.Does anyone have a solution or suggestions on how we can work around this issue? We're considering the possibility of using multiple Spotify accounts, but we're not sure if that's the best approach. I’ve seen this question asked a few times here over the years with varying responses. Very much a first-world problem, but here’s the situation:I got an Era 100 for a vacation property to try it out.  I set it up no problem and mostly use it to play music via Alexa and Spotify or Pandora.  Happy with how it worked, I bought two more, one for home and another to pair with the first Era 100.Of course, I can’t get the various skills to work on the home one.  Alexa works for the Amazon-type stuff, but can’t do any skills like playing music.  From what I can tell, this is an Amazon-induced problem, but I don’t do any home automation through Alexa like lights.If at all possible, I really don’t like to have to open up an app in my phone to do  stuff like turn music on.So here’s the question: Am I best served going with Sonos in one house and something else like a Bose speaker in the other? My priority is to have things work the same way (i.e. I just say Alexa, do whatever, and it does it). It

When I go to add the voice assistant. Alexa tries to connect to Amazon but won't connect. It allows me to connect to Google. But I need Amazon Alexa because all my music is there.

my most recent problem is with alexa and grouping. I have about 10 different speakers group together at all times. I always have music playing out all of the speakers. When I ask alexa to play music, it works for the speaker that it was requested on and plays among all of the speakers in the group as it should. Well, not all of the speakers. The play 1’s are left out of the equation. They are still connected as a group and the volume control still slides back-and-forth, however, no audio comes out. The only way to make audio come out of the play ones is to launch the music from the app.  thoughts?

If I ask Alexa to play music then I loose my Bluetooth connection to my tv and have to reset it. I have to do this every time?

Since last night I can’t get Alexia on my Roam or Beam to play anything It says playing xxx from BBC sounds or xxx from Apple Music etc and that’s it. It never actually plays anythingIve rebooted router, and devices. Disconnect the skill in the Alexia app and reconnected and still the same.  Any ideas !

I'm in India with a Sonos Roam 2. Ads say it has Alexa, but I can't find the Sonos skill in the Alexa app and voice controls don't work. Are there alternative ways to use Alexa with Sonos Roam 2 in India (another Alexa device, different assistant)? Is there an estimated timeline for Sonos Alexa support in the Indian Alexa app?

Just wondering if anyone else has recently lost the Google Assistant on one of their Sonos Speakers? I have had Google Assistant enabled on two Sonos One speakers in different rooms for about 3 years. Sometime in the past week it stopped working. Also the microphone button on the top of each speaker appears to be disabled. I cannot get the microphone to turn on. Yesterday I used the Sonos Windows App on my laptop to successfully update all of my speakers firmware, thankfully with no errors. However even after this fir ware update and cycling the power to each of the Sonos One's that had the Google Assistant enabled, I cannot get the microphone to turn on?

I know that when I play Apple Music through the Sonos app it streams lossless, which is great, however I’ve set up Alexa to use Apple Music on the same device (Beam) and am trying to work out if it will play lossless when I ask it to play a track? I’ve looked everywhere for info on this and haven’t been able to find anything, anyone able to help?

I have to play my Sonus through the app on my phone, it will answer questions and higher or lower the volume but it won't play the music when directed. 

i want to listen to my own Music downloaded on Music app on my iPhone. and I want to hear it from my loudspeakers set up to my Sonos Connect. Once that was possible but Sonos closed that. can you make that possible again ?

Hi alljust purchased a new ROAM SL and Sonos Voice Control does not show up in settings.I only see Alexa and Google Voice controls.I notices some (very old) messages pointing to router/dns issues. I'verebboted router changed two times DNS rebooted networks optionsbut SVC stilll does not show up.can you help ?EDIT : SONOS SL does not have microphone...sorry i missed that

When I ask Alexa to play music on one Sonos speaker it plays it on another speaker, slightly annoying!  Is there anyway to fix this? Thanks

I have 4 Sonos One’s (one with Alexa in garage) and a Connect  Amp.I told Alexa “Alexa resume” and speaker in another location started playing.The speaker with Alexa had nothing cued to play, so for some reason it started a different speaker.I cued music for it, played, paused, and told Alexa to resume again and the one in the garage with Alexa did resume.Never used to do this.  If nothing was cued, Alexa would just do nothing.This could be serious if it played music outside or in a room where someone was sleeping.

I’ve connected Alexa and can ask it for the weather, etc., but it will NOT play music from Spotify.  It keeps telling me to connect the apps, etc., which I’ve done several times.  After an hour and a half with Sonos support, they woman told me that this won’t work until they add a “date/settings” feature to the app.  This makes no sense to me, as the Alexa voice command is one of the main selling points of the Sonos Era speakers.  When I pressed her on that she just kept repeating her script. It was like talking to a brick wall. So my question is, does anyone know why I can’t say “Alexa play Steely Dan” to my Sonos speaker and have it work??? Buongiorno,a seguito aggiornamento dell’applicazione, Alexa (assistente vocale predefinito) non mi fa più ascoltare la musica nè da Amazon Music nè da qualsiasi altro gestore musicale. In realtà se impartisco il comando comprende tutto ma non sento nulla. Diversamente con Sono Voice control funziona bene (sonos radio, spotify) ma non con amazon music. Make sure all your products are powered on and connected to Wi-Fi, Obviously they are all connected to Wifi and I have messed around with various settings with no luck. Any ideas??
