Hello,I have three (3) 1’s and one (1) 5 connected via a Nighthawk mesh wifi system. The system has great bandwidth but the Sonos system keeps dropping off. I have hard wired and factory resetted a number of times and the speakers show up for a period of time and then drop. I have changed channels (to 11, and 1 so far) and still the Sonos system keeps dropping. I have tried just about everything I can find and it still drops. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I have a sub, arc, and two one sl's.When im playing music or watching a movie with 5.1.2 its immersive.How do i get any use out of the one sl's for content that doesnt come in 5.1.2 sound?Is there a setting to make it all just mirror what is coming out the arc?

Anyone having trouble connecting to SiriusXM over the last week or is it just my system?

Hi All,This is an odd problem, at least for me.  We have four 6th Gen Fire HD8 tablets.  Three of them connect to Sonos with the app, no problem.  One, however, does not.  It used to, but no more. I did all the usual: First, I reset the Fire tablet.  No luck. Then I wiped the Fire tablet and started all over. No joy. Multiple uninstalls and re-installs of the Sonos app. Nothing. The Wi-Fi on the tablet works perfectly. The Sonos app (S1) connects to the existing system, but then repeatedly, invariably reports “We can't connect to Sonos”. Router was rebooted. No effect. Seems like a strange problem considering that the Fire tablet otherwise functions perfectly including the Wi-Fi. And that all the other Fire tablets (same model, same OS) connect easily to Sonos. Any suggestions would be welcome! Thank you. Matteo

i currently have bought an arc. from earlier i own a play:5 (and a one SL in the bathroom).does anyone know if I can pair:a play:5gen2 and a five to the arc in order to obtain surround,or does it have to be: 2 fives and arc 2 play:5gen2 and arc? thanks in advance for advice.

Can I purchase a Sonos Roam and be ably to play the same music with my 2 room set?In other words, will the Roam sync with my current 2 room set of speakers?I want the versatility of taking the roam to my porch and have it playing the same musicas my living room.  Is this possbile? John

I recently picked up a Connect(gen1) with the hope of playing my turntable through my Sonos speakers (play1's) and my audio amp. So the TT goes into phono preamp into the connect and out to the amp. Playing the TT via the Connect into the amp, no problem. Playing the TT through the Connect to the play1's no problem. However when I group the room with the connect to the room with the play1's the output to the amp drops to virtually zero while the play1's are fine. Have fiddled with variable/fixed volume and the source level sensitivity to no dramatic effect.I am running S1with no issues. Although I am using Google mesh through out the house I have set up the Sonos gear to be on it’s own mesh. Love to hear some thoughts, Cheer, David

Hello,I have a projection screen outside that I’d like to show movies on.  I have hooked up my amazon fire tv through the projector’s HDMI.  Unfortunately, the sound that the projector emits is pretty bad, and wouldn’t be satisfactory for a movie or sports.  I’d like to get my sonos involved (I have a Move and a Play:3), but I’m not sure of the best way to do this - any suggestions?  I suppose I could buy a Play:5 and use the 3.5mm input, but I feel like there should be a way to accomplish this without purchasing another speaker.  

Hello,I have a Sonos Arc with a sub + surrounds that I have used on my PC for a while and had no issues having it connected to the optical port, a couple weeks ago I didn't get sound from my arc I didn't do any updates or change anything. First I tried my Arc on a TV to check the optical adapter and the HDMI, when I connected using the optical it didn't work I then plugged the HDMI directly in and worked so I tried the optical again after and it then worked I decided to get a replacement optical adapter from Sonos anyways to be sure but had the same issues. I have tested my PC’s optical port with other devices like my Astros and it works fine I'm not sure what todo anymore just seems very odd and its very frustrating any help or advise would be great.  

I have a beam and 2 sonos ones setup in my lounge. The TV is connected to the beam via HDMI arc.When I turn on the TV, many times the sound does not kick in. Sometimes the app tells me there is a problem with the setup and cannot recognise the arc setup etc.. after a few attempts it starts.Sometimes I have to restart everything to get it working, it’s very frustrating indeed. Any ideas please?

I want to stay with the the original sonos app but I am not getting the option to do so.  it does not appear in the Learn More section as instructions say it will.  Any one else have this issue?

With Apple confirming that Airplay 2 will now be capable of streaming 24/192 to an end point with a capable DAC will Sonos be making plans to support this?My own end point is a Sonos Amp which i believe at the moment is only capable of 16/44 through Airplay 2.Does Sonos have any plans to support Apple Music’s 70 million customers who from June will be able to stream in Hi-Res?

Is it possible to play an audio file on my computer speakers (non-Sonos), and have the same audio be playing seamlessly on a Sonos speaker in another room?

Hi. The only service I presently subscribe to is Idagio. For the last week or so, it’s been unlistenable. It’s choppy, and cuts out every minute or so. I also have my itunes library in Sonos, and those tracks play fine. It’s just the streaming. To check whether or not the problem is with Idagio or Sonos, I signed up for a free trial of Primephonic, and that cuts out exactly the same as Idagio. How can I deal with this?

Can you disable the automatic switching to tv source when the tv is turned on?This is quite annoying for my particular use case. The best option for me would be a feature where the automatic switching happened when the tv volumn button was activated, but a tolerable alternative is disabling it altogether. 

I tried to get help with this problem a year ago but no one helped me. I believe the problem started with a new computer 2 years ago.One of my choices, in deciding what music to play, is “Music Library”, which connects to my itunes. From there, I go to Imported Playlists. I often make changes to my playlists, so frequently I go to Manage > Update Music Library Now.In itunes, everything looks fine. But in Sonos, each of my playlists is listed twice, many with a different number of songs in each list. If I look at that playlist in itunes, it might have yet another number of songs in it.How can I fix this? I wonder if i have an incorrect setting somewhere...something not pointing to the correct path or folder? My Music and itunes folders are kind of a mess...what looks like lots of extra old stuff.Thanks for any help you can give me...

Dear all, I’m trying to get a dedicated Router - Play 1 - Sonosnet → all other speakers (avoiding my wireless completely as it’s causing drop outs).  The Play 1 is wired into my router’s ethernet with an ethernet cable. It says it’s WM: 0 on the “About My System” tab. So this means it’s working wired, I believe. Now all of the other speakers still say WM: 1. This means they are still wireless! (But I don’t know if this is my house wireless or the sonosnet wireless. - how do I tell?) I carried out the steps here:https://support.sonos.com/s/article/3209?language=en_US “Switch Sonos between a wireless and wired setup” Do I need a boost instead of the play 1? I can’t turn off the wifi on the other speakers unless they are plugged in (it says).I have “SonosNet Channel” option in my Network tab. Dear community, I have a 5.1 with the playbar and another 6 play one in my flat. Today I plugged an ethernet cable in one of the play one not part of the 5.1 and, naively, expect all the speakers to switch from wm1 to wm0. Unfortunately only the one I plugged in switched to wm0.How can I fix it? Thanks

Hi all,As per title really, I’m trying to setup two Connect:Amps (Gen 1) for surround sound from my TV. The line-in works great and both amps are currently setup as different rooms & are performing well (wireless & wired modes both work fine when tested). However, step 3 of the guide: “Under Products, tap the Sonos home theater room” - I don’t see an option for the “Sonos home theatre room”. Any ideas? Hello there, Im one of the few lucky the preordered early and own a PS5. I have an odd situation on my hands. 4kbluray works fine for ATMOS, but anything other than ATMOS is in stereo PCM, no dolby digital no matter what settings I use from PS5 4kbluray player.Of course I have the TV setup as pass through...as I’ve said ATMOS works perfectly for both streaming and 4kbluray and all all equipment including TV, PS5 and all SONOS were and are constantly updated. I scribbled up a matrix and have tested ALL combinations of audio settings between my TV and PS5 and have tested every condition over the course of a week. Still the same...ATMOS=perfect from 4k bluray/Sreaming but anything other than ATMOS is stereo PCM from PS5 4kbluray player.I have also tested a Sony X800 4kblu ray player instead of the PS5 and it has no issues playing Dolby Digital.Any ideas why the ARC hates the PS5? Thanks in advance

Hi there,As many as other users, I’m experiencing audio issues with my Sonos system. I use it only with Spotify. I don’t have any local media library and other services. The songs skip or stop but counter still playing in the app. I can happen 3 times in 10 minutes but can be also stable for a whole day.I know there is an issue with Spotify but I would like to be sure it’s not wireless interference.I’m pretty sure it’s not but I’d would like to have no doubts. I called the customer support few weeks ago (before finding the Spotify thread I mentioned earlier) I have been told that my wireless setup could be the issue because I’m using the same network on both bands and I have several access points. My wireless setup is based on Ubiquiti APs. All the Sonos speakers are wireless (3 Sonos One SL, 1 Move).All the APs are wired. The UniFi controller reports that all the sonos products are connected to the 5 Ghz  (except the Move which is weird because it’s as the same distance from the AP th
