Hi there, I have previously used the diagnostics matrix to determine which speakers have strong or weak connections. I have now installed a Mesh network so I have 4 “nodes” that act as 1 SSID, running wifi6 etc. and I’m interested to see if the diagnostic matrix shows an improvement. When I use the same URL I now get as screen as per the attached image.  I’m not 100% convinced the change of network is relevant but worth mentioning. Devices are Connect Amp (so I am limited to S1 app), Playbar and two Play3s. I have tried with 1 device wired, reset wifi settings, all show WM:0, all have been rebooted and I’ve tried the same URL using each of the IP addresses.  I’m out of ideas. This is what I see 

I have been trying to set up Alexa as a voice assistant but struggling to get it to show as a service in the Sonos App.  I have tried disabling and enabling the skill in Alexa as well as deleting both apps and starting again.

I transferred my Sonos system (5 Connect:Amps, 2 Beams, and 1 Connect) to the person who purchased my home.  It looked like everything worked great on the S1 app, but when I logged in to check my Sonos account today I still see the Connect box that I transferred.  How can I transfer that to the new owner’s account? I’ve moved 500 miles away and will not be on the WiFi network where that Connect box now resides, so I’m not sure that there’s anything that I can do.

My (relatively) new Sonos Arc has been working quite well (~7 months) until now. The Arc is connected to a Samsung TV via HDMI cable and hard-wired via ethernet cable to my router. When I last tried to use the TV, I found that the TV audio will no longer play on the Arc. I also found that the Arc is missing from my Sonos app and missing from a speaker group that it was assigned to in my Alexa app. The Arc has a solid white LED illuminated next to the microphone icon, but no other outward indication that it is being powered. I tried all of the steps recommended by Sonos to get the device reconnected but all attempts failed so far. I even tried to connect to Wi-Fi after unplugging the ethernet cable but the Arc still won’t connect. The TV does not appear to recognize that an Arc is connected to it anymore.The TV’s Wi-Fi connection is fine, so I tried swapping the TV ethernet connection with the Arc ethernet connection. Can I play my TV sound through Beam and Roam simultaneously?  I have Beam connected to my Samsung Smart TV via optical cable, and would like to also connect my Roam so that I can hear the game remotely (in the backyard, which does have WiFi coverage).  Any suggestions?

I subscribe to Amazon Music unlimited in the UK. I have the Amazon Music service installed in Sonos. When I search for an Artist (The Travelling Wilburys) in the app within Sonos they are not found yet this Artist is available when I use the freestanding  Amazon Music app. How do I fix this. I have tried Sonos support and Amazon Music support with no luck. It used to work.

Humour me here, but is it possible to create a mixed wired/wireless network where the wireless devices are connected to regular wifi and SonosNet is disabled?Here is my scenario...I have a large 5x AP wifi network which provides great coverage throughout my house, but obviously I am using all 3 non-overlapping 2.4GHz wifi channels to provide this coverage.I have about 20 Sonos devices, all connected to the wifi, working fine.But I also have in excess of 100x IOT devices on the 2.4GHz wifi - low bandwidth, but can be quite chatty. I’d like to offload as much traffic off the 2.4GHz network as possible, so I’m thinking of wiring some of the Sonos devices. I have wired Ethernet in a bunch of places where I could easily wire to a Sonos device, but not all Sonos devices.I want to avoid the wired devices setting up SonosNet, as I don’t want to be creating interference on any 2.4GHz channel. Hello, I have a LG B9 OLED TV. Hooked up via eARC HDMI to my Sonos Beam.I also have a Connect:AMP, set as the surround speakers of my Beam.When I play movies via the Netflix of Disney+ app I don’t hear any surround sound via my speakers that are connected via the Connect:AMP.I submitted a diagnose report: 177965938Both the Beam and Amp are connected of LAN (wired) If I disconnect the Amp from the Beam I can play music from the Amp speakers TV Output is set to HDMI eARC and Passthrough (not PCM)

My laptop was running WIndows 10 20H2 and the Sonos app was running fine. A week ago my laptop upgraded to Windows 10 21H1 and since then the Sonos app doesn’t work anymore. When starting it gives a few popups about updating itself but that fails. I deinstalled the app and tried from scratch but it doesn’t want to install anymore.This is the error I get when I try to install:

For 3 days now I am unable to play anything on my 5 Sonos speakers, an error comes up that reads ‘Unable to play X connection to Spotify was lost’ Before this issue came about, the system would play 5 seconds of a song before changing track, unprompted. I ran a system diagnostic and my number is: 1973324632 Please list out ways I can solve this. Please see below steps I have already taken 1. Restarted modem and router 3 times. (Including unplugging power for 3 minute reset)2. Disconnected the Spotify account 3 times and reauthroized the account 3 times.3. The system has no updates to install. Hello, all. I’m brand new to Sonos and have been doing research on upgrading/updating my current 5.1 home theater setup (LG OLED55B7P TV, Yamaha receiver, center, front surrounds mounted to wall, in-ceiling rear surrounds, JBL subwoofer). My goal was to see if I can eliminate the Yamaha receiver (I no longer have any other components connected to it), and also eliminate the center and two front surround speakers … but continue to use the rear surround in-ceiling speakers and my existing subwoofer.I thought that Sonos Arc (for center + fronts) and Sonos Amp (for rears and sub) would get me there … but it sounds like I will NOT be able to use my existing JBL subwoofer in this configuration, is that correct?  Because (if my understanding is correct) the Amp will disable the subwoofer connection when the speakers that are connected to the Amp are used as surrounds?If that is the case … then, damn!!  So close.  I won’t be pulling the trigger on Sonos.  Are there any other options that would

Hello,Since a couple of weeks, it seems I only have one single activity playlist (Romance !) instead of the usual 10 playlists (romance + essentials, fitness, party, etc...). Please refer to screenshot attached. I tried accessing Sonos using a different device and the same issue prevails. Can you please let me know if this is a general issue or am I the only one being affected ? How can this issue be resolved ?Thanks ! NicolasPS : This issue follows a previous issue where number of playlists from Apple Activity Playlists (using Sonos S2 App) were much narrower than the number of playlists provided by the Apple App directly. Played fine, then just lost network connection. Can get it to do anything. Won’t turn off, can’t do a factory reset. Nothing. 

I recently bought a Sono One SL speaker so I can listen to my music collection from my Brennan 2.I have followed all the instructions given on the Brennan and Sono websites.I can hear my music using the Brennan itself in my front room, I can hear my Brennan in the other room but as a separate channel.In other words, I can link my wired speakers and my Sono One SL to play the same music.I have tried activating and following instructions on Brenan/Sono websites, but no joy.Can anyone help?  Thanks.

Hello, I have a seven Sonos devices in four rooms.Living room: Soundbar and two Play:1 for surround Bedroom: One Play:1 Kitchen: Two Play:1’s Garden: Amp powering two speakers.Both the living room and kitchen devices keep disappearing from my system list. However, when I watch TV it plays through the Sonos devices and if I ask my kitchen Google device to play music it will play through the Sonos devices linked to it. However, I can not go into the app and just play some music to these devices. I completely reset the entire system and restarted my router and got everything set back up but they have both disappeared again. Any suggestions on how to resolve this? Thanks in advance. 

I had the Sonos system for years with two sonos 3 and it worked great until I bought a Sonos Beam. Since then my original Sonos 3 speakers are redundant and cannot be used in the system.The sonos Beam works for one to two weeks then falls off the network for no reason. Eventually it connects again after a few days for no logical reason.The sonos support never respond and over the last 18 months have failed to provide any suitable response as to why the Sonos 3 will no longer work or why the Beam (which is wired directly to the router) drops off for no reason.Can anybody help?  

Alexa announcements generated from Alexa routines does not work on my Sonos One (2nd Gen). Although, it does work from voice activated commands.This was a previous tropic, but that topic was closed, and no resolutions were provided. So, I’m re-opening this issue and, hopefully, Sonos will respond and resolve.

Hi,When I add a song from Spotify to play next, it always skips. If I add two songs, the first will skip and the second will play. I have 100MB fibre broadband. The ‘main’ Sonos speaker in the network is connected by Ethernet. I’ve done hard resets, advised by Sonos, and the problem still isn’t solved.Hoping someone can help me on this because I’ve spoken to Sonos support twice and the problem has persisted. it’s doing my head in.Any tips?Ant

I have an arc, sub, and two Ones connected to my tv. For a couple of years I had a beam in this configuration and last summer when the arc came out, I switched the configuration above. I had to connect my arc to Ethernet to set up and it is still functioning that way. My arc is connected to the Arc HDMI port and never had an issue. I also have a Philips Hue light system connected to another HDMI port with my Roku and PS4 connected to that. This configuration happened around the beginning of January. Now, mid May, all of a sudden when we turn the television on with our Roku remote, the tv sound doesn’t automatically connect to the Arc system, stating that “the HDMI ARC is not connected”. We then disconnect, wait, and reconnect. We have tried changing the HDMI cable (x3) to no avail. We also purchased two Lindy CEC-less adapters from Amazon but both still had pin 13 intact, making them completely useless. Hi, I just came back from holiday and I suddenly cannot get my Sonos app to show me my devices. All devices are showing a solid white light and I have tried to restart my router, checked the wire, etc. Nothing helps. Hello AllI have two connect amp with sonos ceiling speakers. Both working on S1 app, I can group them and all. Now thinking of adding speakers to the hallway and living room. i was thinking of getting Play 5 - Gen 2. I was wondering if i can group them all together to play the same music in all of them. or I better be looking at Play 5 Gen 1 speakers?

I’ve been very interested with the comments on the Roam speaker, my son bought this for my birthday to add to my sonus system, which I love. However this was specifically bought as an add on for the garden.  Charged the roam, had friends around for a bbq & the roam battery was drained although I’d put it away fully charged.  It appears that when I open the sonus app the roam comes on although it’s in a cupboard ready and waiting for the next time I want to take it outside.  I find this really annoying & a very bad fault, is there anyway you can turn it off and it remains off until you require it? I’ve tried the 5 seconds switch off which works but then the roam wakes up the minute I open the sonus app . 🤔

I need a longer power cable for my Arc. I’d say 5 meters should do it. Can I use a generic non-polarized IEC C8 cable?
