I suppose I am one of many, but I an anxiously awaiting availability of the Sonos Port.  I am planning an extension to my whole-house system that relies on the Port and the Move (which I have).  Is there any current information on availability of the Port?  I’ve tried Crutchfield, Amazon, and Magnolia without success.  Thank you much for any information.  Ken Traynham

I’m new to Sonos and very much looking forward to try out my Sub Gen 3 and my Arc once my new place is finished. Currently having craftsmen doing some work before I can move in.First, I planned to have the Arc standing on a media bench but then I started thinking if I maybe should mount it on the wall instead. So I bought the Sonos Arc wall mount.Then I found some information about the sound being changed if you mount it to the wall using the original Sonos wall mount for the Arc. Where the Arc will sense it’s mounted to the wall via a magnet built-in into the Sonos wall mount. Where the sound (primarily the base as I understand it) will be less.Whether this is something you really want seems to be different depending on who you ask.I also bought a 3rd party wall mount for the Arc from Flexson since I have a white Arc but wasn’t able to find the original Sonos Arc wall mount in white. Hi everybody, it’s safe to charge Sonos Roam with a USB-C charger (made for Raspberry) with these specs:5.1v 3.0A 15.3WI’m sure it will generically work but I mean if it could damage or make issues in the long-term use.

HelloAbout 6 Months ago I purchased 5 Sonos one speakers to put around the walls of a hair salon I recently opened.For the last 2 weeks songs keep going silent mid song, coming back to the song and constantly skipping tracks. I have looked at ways to fix it in these forums such as securing each speaker its own reserved IP address. Unplugging each one and plugging them back in. I have even reset every speaker and re set up the system. Nothing has worked.I have also contacted the wireless provider who have promised me we have secure fast broadband.I’m at my wits end. I feel the only real solve is to sell all the sonos speakers and set up a wired system. but I don’t want to do this. PLEASE HELP!

Can i  directly connect sonos sub woofer to Apple HomeKit room using airplay 2 assuming I have already added a sonos one speaker to this room. (Bypass Sonos app) 

I have had the Sonos roam since release date and when I opened I was able to use it once. Since then the roam doesn’t respond to any of the trouble shooting. When I plug into the power the light is a constant red and when I unplug the light flashes red. When I try to reset, power off or on, connect to a device or follow any of the trouble shooting on the app the roam doesn’t make any noise and the light never changes. Any tips? thank you

hi all!i just noticed that i can’t connect to my system via iphone app when the tv is off.  anyone else have this issue?  i have the arc, surrounds and sub.  thx!

Does anybody have an solution as to why my play 3 will not stay connected in my s2 app? I have already reregistered it once and it is connected within my wireless router. 

Hi all,I’ve been dealing with this issue for about a year and just now got annoyed enough to post about it. I currently have an Audio Technica turntable plugged into a Play 5 via stereo audio cable through line in on the Play 5. I then sync all my other Sonos speakers to the Play 5 and play records through the line-in input. It works great. However, every time I switch records or the record player idles for a while, I have to manually reconnect all the other Sonos speakers in my system EXCEPT for the Play 5 to the line-in. How do I set the system so that the other speakers don’t drop the line-in, and I have to manually reconnect my other speakers through the app every single time I switch a record? Thanks.

I have a Project turntable connected to line-in sonos port using Wifi.  When playing to devices like Roam or Move there is no issue with sound.  However, when playing to speakers connected to hardwired AMPs in other rooms (on the same network) no sound is heard even though app says playing.  It has kicked in one or two times but for no reason I can find.  Any help much appreciated ….

My question is, can I select the Playbar, using the discount upgrade to an Arc and STILL keep the Playbar, i.e. sell it to a collegue of mine.Anybody with experience in trade up, your help would really mean a lot.Neven

Hello all, I have at home one Sonos play:1, one sonos move and two ikea Symfonisk bookshelves.Since a few time (probably after a routeur firmware update) i was not able to connect the Symfonisk to my Wifi network (it works with LAN). Wifi works perfectly with Sonos:1 and move.The setup (even from factory reset) goes up to the end but the speaker is not shwn on the Sonos App and the connection by AirPlay does not succeed. My routeur is an Asus ZenWifi AX, and I can find other topics / issues with Asus routeur related to Airtime Fairess enable. This option is already disable on my routeur, so I have no other idea in order to have my Symfonisk back to my network. If someone has a great idea or face similar issue (and solve it), it will be great. Or if Sonos team has a look to this post my diagnostic reference is 957343697 Thank you to all.

Hello, I understand that a Sonos Roam cannot connect to SonosNet. So, What happens when you have a SonosNet Setup and you want to add a Roam to your system? Do you need to change all your system to WiFi setup, or would the Roam be able to interact somehow with the rest of system that it's using SonosNet? What have been your experiences in this regard? Thanks in advance, Ricardo

Ever since the recent update about 2-3 weeks ago, my five play:1 speakers keep randomly disconnecting.  Usually reseting my wifi works, but I’ll still need to factory reset one or two speakers.  This is both annoying and not viable as i need a 12 foot ladder to reach 2 of the speakers.I’ve unplugged the speakers, reset wifi, and restarted the speakers.  Ive factory reset every one of them.  the issue persists.  We’ve had them working without an issue for 2 years until this recent update.   In those 2 years, the speakers have not moved an inch and the wifi has not moved or changed.I’m beyond fed up with this system now.  This is in a restaurant setting, so when they disconnect my dining room goes silent, which is a huge problem.Last little weird piece is when the speakers go down, my sonos app and desktop app can see spotify and the speakers but i get an error when they try to connect.  when that happens, i can’t submit a diagnostic.The most recent successful diagnostic while this probl

Yes it can, all Sonos speakers can be paired, the staff at Sonos are clueless contract paid idiots. You can pair any Sonos speaker in the app. Lots of misinformation online about it. I have $15k worth of Sonos speakers and they all pair.

I'm unable to stream Audacy stations. Audacy appears in the Sonos app, the Audacy stations appear and I can select a station. But when I press the play button it acts as if it is playing for 1 to 2 seconds and then reverts to showing three play button as if I hadn't pressed anything. I've uninstalled Audacy and reinstalled without any improvement. 

I have a pair of Play:1 and Five with a turntable connected to Five's line-In. It plays perfectly on Five but when I group Five with one (or both) of Play:1 it continues playing only on Five although that mini-equaliser shows that it's playing everywhere. What's wrong? 

Will a sub gen 2 work with gen 1 play 1,3 & 5 as this is my current set up?Many thanks

Odd issue occurring in the past couple of weeks or so. I play something on a speaker with my iPad, for example in my kitchen. Then want to continue listening in a different room, for example “bedroom” so select the new room and deselect “kitchen” and press done. Playing begins in the other room, but continues to play in the kitchen despite the fact that it is not now a selected room. Pressing stop in playback has no effect on the kitchen speaker neither does exiting the app altogether, playback just continues in my example, my kitchen. The only way I can stop it is to mute this speaker and continue playback in the bedroom. Unmute the kitchen speaker and it’s still playing there despite not being a selected speaker!I have only used the two rooms as examples of what happened this morning. Over the past couple of weeks it’s happening with other rooms as well.Anyone any advice as it’s really annoying?Thanks. 

it’s so disfunctional that you have to go to your computer to pause your music from Sonos 2 on iphone (latest version) and Ipad Air, recent version. Let’s quit pretending there is a pause button on the iphone to turn off your music. THERE ISN’T. Yes, I am shouting!

Hi allIm having trouble getting my Sonos ARC to learn the IR signal from Benq projector remote for volume control.  It will learn it when the projector is switched off and can be used to control music etc but as soon as the projector is switched on the signal appears to be blocked by the remote as small block sign appears on screen. Ive tried everything but no luck.  It would be great if I could control the ARC volume with the projector remote when I am playing movies/TV etc.  It is connected via HDMI eARC an CEC is switched on.  Any ideas?

Hi there, My diagnostic code is 1505463390 basically in a nut shell. The sub won’t connect to the playbar. When it does it sounds muffled like it’s underwater. The playbar now won’t connect to the play 3’s (that are paired together).  tried everything,  no joy at all. Please can someone help? cheers 

Does anyone know how to connect the Samsung One Remote control to the Sonos Playbar so that I can control the volume of the playbar? I tried various ways but can’t get it to work.... I read the the playbar has IR whereas the Samsung remote control has RF but nevertheless there seems to be a way to make them connect. Hope someone can share the ultimate solution for this issue with me!!

Hi, my sonos randomly turned on and played what sounded like the Mac startup chime/sound three times last night until I unplugged it. A similar thing happened once before a few months back but that time it played out a really loud cracking / white noise type of (rather distressing) sound. Anyone knows what to do about this and why it happens? I’m not connected to a voice assistant.
