when I unplugged my play one speaker and moved it to a different electrical outlet, I believe it said unable to play when I tried to play it. So I gave up and moved it back to its original location and now the product doesn’t even show up. The Sonos support says to go to settings and select find my missing products under support. But when I go to the support option I get a blank screen popping up.It’s not totally blank, it says support but that is all it says – there are no options listed. It seems to me moving a speaker from one location to another should be a relatively easy procedure. Please help. Thank you

Hi there, tried to connect to my Sonos Play 5 (gen1) yesterday and it wasn’t appearing on my known devices on the app (Sonos S1)Went over to the device itself and there were no lights on, pretty worried as I love my Play 5! Please can someone help?Thanks,James

Surround sound used to work fine with a beam and 2 play 1’s but then light on play 1’s started flashing. Have tried hard reboot of the speakers but system keeps coming up as beam (L? + R ?). Any ideas welcomed?

I used to be able to use a Folder in my music library as a source for my Alarm music, but that is no longer an option. I am using Sonos Generation 1.  Any insights are appreciated. 

I sit here on my patio once ahain with Move playing fine and the iphone App (S1) has no clue about it, just sees the other 6 devices.  Wish this was an unusual situation. Put it happens often enuff that I know when I need to run inside to my PC to control the Move.  Deplorable situation   I would never buy another Move again.  When it goes offline its frustrating trying to recover it  especially with an uncooperative iphone app. In my alphabet  Move comes after Home Theater and before Office…. Where is it?? 

Hi Guys,I’m having an issue with one area in my house so resetting my system. I’ve read I could hardwire one speaker, which will create the SonosNet (WM:0), then connect the other speakers to the SonosNet instead of wifi. Issue is, when I set up the remaining speakers (after a factory reset), they come up as WM:1), only the wired Play:1 shows WM:0.Am I missing something? I presume the SonosNet is therefore not working?Thanks for any help! 🍻

Hi there,We are currently renovating our small family room. We are also new to Sonos products. With 2 small kids and a dog, we use our family room as a multi purpose / music / home theater space. We are trying to achieve 5.1.2 by using the Sonos Amp to connect to in-ceiling speakers for the rear surrounds to save space. The entire home theater package consist of Arc, Sub and 2 in-ceiling rear speakers.However, I recently learned the Amp can power up to 4 in-ceiling speakers. So my question is if I install 4 in-ceiling speakers, is there an option to select only 2 speakers as rear surround when watching movies vs select all 4 in-ceiling speakers when we play music? It seems wasteful not to install the maximum number of speakers the $649 amp can handle.Appreciate your feedback.

Hi all As the subtitle describes. I got 2 PLAY 1 speakers in my system. Have been working like a charm for many years.However, they suddenly stopped working. The app is not seeing them anymore, I did all I could find on the net to reconnect but w/o any luck.Led light is full white, sometimes it starts to blink and goes over in a period of full white again.  Opened up a diagnostic ticket:492365961

I have a tape recorder on the way as I want to make mix tapes again from my vinyl collection. Currently my Yamaha wireless turntable is connected with the red and white cable to my  Sonos amp. I don’t think it’s possible to connect both the turntable and the Tapedeck at the same time as there’s only one “red and white -in” and also no switch to choose between tape deck and vinyl player. So do I need another “regular” amp that connects into the Sonos  amp and I connect both the turntable and the tape deck into the “regular amp” or can I connect t to be turntable wirelessly to the Sonos Amp and the tape deck with the red and white cable and then record straight away ? I am completely out of my depth here and not sure if I am even asking the question right :-) would appreciate any feedback , thanks already for your time to read this 

Sonos Arc with Alexa voice assistant activated through the Sonos app is not showing in the Alexa app (on IOS 14.7). The service does work on the Arc but since it’s not showing in the Alexa app I can’t integrate it with the rest of my devices. For troubleshooting I took the following steps:Checked I registered the Arc to the right Amazon account Updated Sonos and Alexa app Reset the Sonos Arc and re-connected the device  Disabled router firewall to rule out blocking of service(s)Anyone has experience with this issue and how to solve it?

I’ve searched and found mixed advice on this. can I connect 2 sets of Bose 51 environmental speakers to the new sonos amp? Also should they be wired in series or parallel? thank you in advance

Hey all,I've been breaking my head over a weird situation with my audio at home. Trying to connect my Nvidia Shield (2017), through a USB DAC (Douk U2) to my Sonos Beam. I'm using a projector without ARC, so am bound to use the optical connection.I've been testing playing videos from various services and some that I have stored locally. The only ones that produces sound on the Beam are ones with AC3 5.1. With any other ones (AAC, AAC 5.1), the Beam doesn't return any sound. In the app under "About My System", the Beam shows a blank at "Audio in:".This seemed rather odd to me, so I ended up buying a digital-to-analogue converter so I can test the optical signal with my headphones. Just bought a cheap one (Techole HS203-BK). In this test I'm still connecting the Shield via USB to the Douk U2, and the Douk U2 via optical to the digital-analogue converter. Funnily enough I get sound when using files with AAC or AAC 5.1 sound, or when I force the Shield to output regular stereo sound. (AC3

Sonos seems to be getting more complicated everyday: It used to be so easy.I have 2 room speakers set up perfectly and I added a move with a boost.Everything worked fine then it went down when someone unplugged the router…Re-plugged the router and the rooms came back but I had to reset the move, it came back on and played music for 30 seconds then ‘offline’… this has happened 6 times and I can’t get it to continue.On the app it shows the music playing via the little ‘bars’ but nothing from the speaker after 10-30 seconds… it works for a second then goes offline???What do you suggest? 

I have a Project turntable connected to a Port.  There is the annoying buzz consistently referenced here indicating the need for a grounding.  The Port does not have a ground offered.  What can be done for this? It really seems like a common issue and should be addressed in the literature so we don’t have to hunt the web for possible solutions.

I have a small Sonos system, consisting of two Play5's (Gen 1), configured as a stereo pair and installed in a large living space, and a recently acquired One SL, installed in an attic.The Play5 installation has performed flawlessly for several years. Its Music Library resides in two shared music folders on my wifi network: a NAS drive and a MacBook Air.When I acquired the One SL, I followed the procedure for setting up a split S1/S2 system. First I reverted the Play5's to their original status. Then I set up the One SL, using the S2 controller app running on my iPhone. As part of that setup, I pointed the Music Library to the two network shares, and that setup recognized both shares and allowed me to successfully index the library.The S2-based One SL system is currently running perfectly and can access all music on both shares.I then successfully reinstalled the two Play5's, using the S1 controller app, also running on my iPhone. I linked them as a stereo pair, also successfully.But I

After many repeated attempts I have been unable to join 2 Move speakers as a stereo pair on WiFi. I follow the instructions but at the last step( as the speakers play the tone) one speaker cuts out completely. has anyone else experienced this, of have a solution?

yesterday they stole my sonos move, being registered in my name in my system, but to use it they have to reset and log in again and create a sonos account, can the cashier be blocked and rendered unusable? can it be located via the police? and also recover ?… Any similar experience?

Wondering if anyone knows the answer to this… If I have night mode and speech mode turned on when using the TV input, and then I switch to playing music (say from Apple Music), do those two settings stay on or do they auto switch off because I am no longer using the TV input? 

Hello my Sonos amp one of two was working fine for years. Till it stopped the other day. All the lights are on. I’ve checked all the wires. Did a reset to amp. Plugged the wires into the amp that does the ext speakers and the speakers all worked fine. So I’m missing something with the amp or it’s fried. Here’s the diagnostic number 242145167

Hi, When my Sonos works, it is great rich bass and decent volume. The other 95% of the time it is the most hateful thing I own. Just recently I have lost all sound output and have no volume control. I have spent the last three hours removing all the software from my phone and computer, playing with settings, resetting the speaker and generally getting frustrated.  I have a feeling my 17 year old son may have done something to the speaker as his account is currently the primary account name. Is it possible to break the internal amp or speakers within it. If I get my year right next to the speaker i can make out the tunes I want to listen to, so I know the WiFi and set up is correct. The volume limit is set to off.I just need to get it working so I can sell it and replace with something else which is a real shame because I am not quite sure I will get the same sound quality elsewhere. Thanks in advance

Prior to submission I had been watching TV all evening with perfect sound via Sonos. Please don't route me back to the tele call center as I already had troubleshootEd 10+ times and Spent 15+ hors including both Sonos and Samsung call centers, yet Not resolved and Sonos wouldn't take Responsibility to fix the Persistent issue which has been open since n year.I then turned ONLY the TV off, after an idle time of about 2 hours, turned ON the TV to watch, Upon turning It, the ARC had lost its HDMI connection with the TV, no audio signal detected (even though nothing had changed in my system since a perfect connection, other than toggling the TV power off/on) . I have a Spotify Premium account. So far, SONOS plays everything on Spotify except for a Spotify radio program titled “The Blues Kitchen Radio.” The program plays fine on my Bluetooth speakers. What can I do to get it to play on SONOS?

I see the One referred to as Gen 2 but don’t see that designation for the One SL. Does the One SL also have the additional memory and the Bluetooth LE?
