I get really teed off that SONOS in their high and mighty way disable my system if I don't apply the updates immediately. Whatever happened to user choice? There used to be a LATER option, (although SONOS admitted it didn't work), but now there is no choice whatsoever - install or don't have a sonos system…. have we really entered the big brother era where SONOS simply won't wait? Just as well Apple don't take the same approach.I’ve heard all the excuses about my system won't work without them, but it’s is such a basic set up that all the new add ons are completely irrelevant and do not apply to my system… and even if they did SONOS can wait until I’m ready to install, and not be forced to like a big bully who won’t wait

I have Deezer HiFi for a year now..... Recently, songs have started dropping out or skipping two, then the next song plays...... Repeat.I have two Play 1s.....and a preorder roam.Both play 1s are hard wired, with static IPsInternet 150mbTried the delinking of Deezer, unplug sonos, restart router. No change. Any other suggestions?  Has anyone downgraded to Premium and solved this?   

Alexa responds to a 'play music command' but it does not actually play anything. The Sonos One works fine from the app. Alexa also will tell you the weather etc... just fine. When music is playing if you ask Alexa to turn off music it says 'I can only do that when music is playing' . Alexa connects to tunein and my amazon account but doesn't end up playing anything even though it says it is.

Hello,I’ve spent three hours today calling between LG and Sonos Customer Support and know one can really help. I tried everything from turning off the TV/Soundbar for 30sec. Adding a new device in LG even using Philips instead of Sonos. Deactivating eARC in the LG setting, and I'm super frustrated as you would think a 1700 USD dollar TV and 400 USD soundbar would sync properly, and instead I get no tone over the Soundbar and the TV remote setup for Sonos does not work.. Does anyone have the same issue or is it just me???

Moved from US to Europe and Sonos hasn't worked in over a year living here (during COVID lockdown, so even more angry).  App won't connect to my system over wifi, and only connects to one speaker when hardwired to the router. Stops working as soon as Ethernet connection removed. One, Sonos is supposed to be a wireless system, two, I have more speakers than ports on my router, and 3, no way in hell am I running Ethernet cable all over my house for a multi-thousand dollar system.  Have factory reset the speakers, no change. VPN or no VPN, same issue.  Beyond frustrated with the many wasted hours spent trying so set up a system that is supposed to be nearly plug and play.  Internet is Belgian Proximus. Router is a b-box 3V+

I have:Zyxel router where Wi-Fi has been disabled. From zyxel goes a cable to DECO M9 PLUS. From Deco goes a cable to Sonos Boost.All Sonos products (2*five, 1*3, 1*symfonisk, 1*Arc) are connected via Boost (WM: 0)I have tried to connect Sub (gen 3). In the end of the setup it says the “Sub has been added but might not be shown. Turn it off and on again”.…But nothing happens. It will not connect. Find missing products does not help. Diagnostic: 179467386 Wi-Fi on Arc is enabled, and I have tried both the resetting, unplugging, and rebooting of all devices. I never get to the point where I should add Sub to Arc. It never shows on my system.I have tried both “add product” from System and  “connect sub" from the room where the Arc is installed. No luck 👎 

Randomly stopped working would say try again in a second when giving any command. so i unlinked removed google assistant and then re added the sonos to google home and it will not find my devices. none of the forums topics etc that ive read through have fixed this issue and im seriously sick of having spent thousands of dollars for it to barely work. its absurd how expensive these products are for such terrible service. If anyone has a solution please let me know.

Ok, in theory I love Sonos but in practice hate it. I am unable to connect to any of my products (two ports and three amps) on the app but when I open Apple Music I can select any of the rooms I have set up and successfully stream music. Why won’t the app recognize any of my hardware that it previously would show on the app?  I use a Yamaha receiver. 

I am hoping you can steer me in the correct direction with my setup.We have Apple, Foxtel and DVD inputs. And want to run them on TV or Projector.We have the Sonos Arc, Boost, Amp In ceiling speakers and the sub woofer.Could you let me know if this can be done with a HDMI Matrix switch.

Whenever I switch to a different channel, the sound is lost. I have to use the TV remote, not cable remote to go into sound settings and switch to external speaker. I have a Sony bravo TV and we use Verizon cable. I contacted Sonos support and they couldn’t fix it. Help!

Does anyone have suggestions on how to make my Sonos less patchy. I currently have the below setup. Office - Connect (network cable extension from router -> tp-link splitter)Around 11 feetHallway (in between office and living room) - Boost (network cable into router)Around 20 feetPlay:1 (living room) (wifi) Laptop -> Connect (line in) Currently set as Automatic Audio Compression, but have tried Compressed and Uncompressed myself. When using my laptop using the Connect line in, the Play:1 is so up and down it’s very annoying. Sometimes just stop, play via the app wakes it up, but sometimes it doesn’t. I do live in an apartment so there is other wifi noise, but using wifi detectors, my wifi is generally at least twice as powerful as neighbours wifi. I realise the Connect is not supported anymore, but I don’t really want to upgrade everything, if everything is the same patchiness. I’m currently trying to stay away from getting cables across my hallway to the living room but surely t

Just awful harsh sound on all S sounds from the TV and Music. Almost painfully bad. No depth to the sound. I’m using Trueplay and it doesn't help. Its embarrassing to have people over to listen to this garbage. On the “EQ” of only bass and treble. I have treble at -10. Still sounds likes like crap. Dialog is impossible to understand because the volume is so low because the SSS’s are killing my ears.Tried all the suggestions no luck. Might have to go back to a proper stereo system. Hello All!!!I was hoping someone can help me with info on speakers for a projector. I own an Epson Moviemate 62 and am looking for other options for speakers, wireless or semi-wireless. I’m currently using a Sony digital audio/video control center with 5 speakers. I don’t mind things being wired near the unit but trying to get “surround sound” leaves me with yards of speaker wire around my patio for a rear set of speakers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This unit has been a staple in my home for about 8 years and would love to update with new speakers. Below is an image of the back of the moviemate showing available hook ups. I typically use DVDs but am also hoping to use a firestick pending speakers setup. 

Hello,I’m wondering if Sonos Port cable of playing Apple’s 1-Lossless, 2-High-res Lossless 3-Spatial Audio when connect to external amp? My current setup is this : Sonos Port (through RCA) → Yamaha Amp → KEF LS50 L & R

I wish to move my Move around the property; i have 3 routers, including the one I set up the Move on.  If I don’t take my cell phone with me and leave it next to the original router, will I be able to avoid the problem of losing Sonos and Alexa?

I have both the Apple Music app and Sonos App on my iPhone. I have enabled lossless streaming for Apple Music so will I hear lossless music on my Sonos 1 speakers when; I play directly from the Apple Music app via Airplay When I play from the Sonos app.Thanks in advance.

Hi,I have an issue with bluetooth on my Sonos Roam. The connection is unstable. Even a short outage or slowdown of internet on your mobile phone terminate the bluetooth connection with Roam and switch it to wifi mode. Suprisingly it hapens also when I played music offline (downloaded to the phone). I have Move as well and tested both under the same conditions and haven't experienced such issues with Move. Looks like hardware button to switch between wifi and bluetooth at Move is worth.Does anyone has the same experience and can advise please?Thanks, Tomas

For the last week or so Google Assistant on my Sonos One always plays BBC Radio 4 Extra instead of Radio 4 when I ask for it. It says playing ‘BBC Radio 4' but when you ask what's plays says R4extra. No issue with my Google Nest speakers and the same command, and other radio stations seem fine. I've tried rebooting and updating (it's on S2).Anyone else finding this? Any solutions?

I live in Australia and have ZP100 and ZP80 units that I would like to upgrade to 4 Amps under Upgrade Program. I have an upgrade credit on Sonos.com, but when I try to buy products on Sonos.com shop it is designed for US purchasers only.I have now found out that there is an in-store upgrade program in Australia, but to take advantage of this, I have to reverse the credit on Sonos.com. How do I do this? Help please !! Thanks

I want to add a sonos one sl to my existing network (bridge, play 3’s and two play 1’s)Will I need to replace the bridge with a boost in order for the one sl to work? Will the play 3’s work with the boost & S2 app?

When using Alexa with Apple Music I’m randomly experiencing songs in either albums or playlists either getting entirely skipped or stopping partway through the track. If I look in the iOS app I see an “Unable to play ‘[track name]’ - it is encoded using an unsupported digital rights management system” error being displayed. This never happens if I initiate the same music through the Sonos app or through the iOS Music app (via AirPlay). It plays completely reliable then. I hate using an app to initiate music—Alexa is much easier, but it’s become unreliable enough that I’m starting to not trust it. Sometimes I can make the behavior go away for a few weeks or a couple months by powering down and then restarting my entire Sonos system, my WiFi router, and my cable mobile. But it’s infuriating to have to do this, and the problem eventually starts again. Does anyone have any insight here?  

For setting up network: at stage“Sonos” wants to join Wi-fi Network “SONOS”? Cannot find any wifi network as “SONOS”. 

Hi,I have a Belkin 10W Qi Wireless Charging Pad that I use for my airpods and iphone 11. I can’t decipher through reading all the stuff on the Roam if Sonos are saying that it is ok to use any QI charger or if it has to be there own wireless charger? Anyone else using a non Sonos QI charger with their Roam? Thanks
