I’ve been listening to Spotify since purchasing my Beam and OneSLs several months ago. Last week, Spotify started complaining that my wifi was unstable. All other services play fine. I’ve forwarded a diagnostic (200988785), and verified nothing is blocking between wifi hub and Sonos.

Hi all -  I currently have a Sonos amp which is powering two sonance outdoor speakers.  Also have an outdoor TV and two other speakers in a location which is to far to connect to my current sonos amp.  I am curious if I am able to install a Sonos amp near the tv location allowing the tv to then play out of the two sonance speakers which are wired to the other amp.  Essentially having the TV play out of both sonos amp locations. Thanks 

I have a den (that has a Port hooked to an 8 channel Russound amp) next to an outdoor deck. When I sit 30’ from this den on the deck I can connect my phone to an upstairs wifi router / network with decent but occasional spotty connection. The router is 50’ from where I sit on the deck. If I put a Boost next to the Port in the den (30’ from where I sit outside) will this improve my connection with my Sonos App on my phone ? Or does the Port itself send a great signal and adding a Boost next to it would serve no additional benefit ? Thanks !!!

In order to get around the need to set up SMB1 on my media server (I’d prefer not to rely on this because of the probability that my server will stop supporting it) I’m trying to set up a DLNA server instead, which should (I think) broadcast the availability of the media via UPnP.The problem I have is that I have configured the DLNA server (Rygel, running under linux) but I don’t know where the services are supposed to appear within the Sonos (Android-based) app! I have, under System, Media Servers, ticked both Show Media Servers and Show UPnP Servers, but where are they supposed to appear? Having never used that part of the app before, I don’t know what to look for.

I cannot configure and add the Sonos Move to my system, I do the configuration, it does not appear in the app I do the procedure as requested by the app when you do not see the device but nothing has disappeared into thin air and obviously not even in Bluetooth it works, I have  tried to reset it several times, to create a new system only with the move, to change the Wi-Fi name and pass, nothing I can not get it to work!  As soon as I bought it it worked then I had to reset the system and now I have been testing all but nothing to do for 3 months!  solutions?  defective product assistance?  or what ?

Can’t play any radio station at all all of a sudden, I get :“Unable to play “Sonos radio” access denied  or “unable to play the radio station” messages despite being logged in and able to play other music via Apple or Tidal without issue, internet connection good etc.Have logged out and back in and tired from multiple devices, same. 

Previously we had our sonos ones (stereo pair) connected as surrounds to our beam. Just noticed the surrounds no longer connect.  I’ve done the factory reset and a) added them to the same room and b) put them under a separate room and grouped to room with the beam.  When I try to “add surrounds” it takes a few moments and then gives an error.  Has a change gone through to make them not speak together?  thank you for your help!

Just updated the controller for Mac and evertime I try and use the search bar it just crashes. It didn't have this problem yesterday. Also my Ones seemed to have automatically unpaired themselves twice today as well but I was able to repair them back to stereo. Have both these issues been happening for anyone else?

Hello,I have a Beam and two One’s coming to use in a surround sound setup. I was hoping to use Google Assistant on one of the One’s, as it is much better at answering general questions in my experience. Can anyone tell me if this is possible? Thanks!Mike

So out on my deck and have a pair of outdoor speakers hooked up to Amp. Had a Connect Amp before but upgraded to S2. I had read or was told to set all Sonos speakers to max volume of 80%, which I had done for Amp as well. However even Sonos Radio HD it is really soft and have to turn it halfway just to hear anything.  This amp is supposed to be more powerful but feels less so. My question that is somewhat related is the 80% necessary with an Amp or not? Also, let’s use our theoretical “10” scale. Does that mean that my 10 starts out as an 8 and so if I have to turn it half way it’s a 4 or does it work differently?  Feel bad moving the slider so far as I am used to more traditional speaker/radio combos. 

A software update has meant my play:1 is not connected to my WiFi and needs some love to get going again.Sonos app is trying to achieve this via Bluetooth which is not available on a play:1.this is not just an annoying pop up like the other posts, my product does not work at all while the play:1 remains unconnected to WiFi and neither my or my partners phone can help. 

If I connect my Sonos to YouTube Music, I'm able to access all my playlists etc on YTM no problem. And play my songs sound wise. HOWEVER, why can't I play my videos anymore? Is it something I'm doing wrong, or it that Sonos & YTM just aren't on the same exact terms with one another? I DON'T have a smart TV, so I either view my music videos by my Google Pixel 3a, my ASUS Vivo Flipbook or by casting to my aged TV. It makes no sense that I can use any regular bluetooth speaker with these devices and play & view my YouTube music videos. Yet, I'm completely unable to do so with my Sonos, and that totally irritates me. HELP this extremely computer-uneducated music & dance lover! 

I wondered if people have experience with a similar set up. I plan to have 2 turntables and a mixer for DJing. From the mixer to the Sonos amp with phono leads which powers 2 ceiling speakers.  The question is before I set this all up is if I am not pushing the sound to a multiroom set up and just going via the amp to the speakers will there be a delay? Obviously the sound through the headphones and the speakers would need to match. Lot of money to spend as a test!

As the title says. I have a Roam and a Symfonisk. I can group the Roam to the Symfonisk Bookshelf while the Symfonisk is playing, but if I stop playback on the Symfonisk for more than a few minutes, the Roam will automatically ungroup. This is incredibly infuriating since the Roam is often out of reach.Is this a bug or by design? Is there a fix to ensure the Roam stays grouped?Thanks

I’m new to Sonos. I have a soundbar on the way (Sonos arc) but USPS has it somewhere. In the meantime, I’m trying to setup my one SLs as surround sound, but it is not giving me the option. I’ve attached a screen shot of what my system currently looks like in the Sonos app. Any ideas why I cannot set this up?

I’ve just added a Roam to my setup (so excited to finally have a little waterproof portable, it’s exactly what I have been missing!)However, I’ve noticed it is being extremely skippy, especially when I try and use it outside (For reference, I live in apartment that is less than 2000 square foot including the balcony, so not a huge space). But it isn’t limited to outside, that’s just where it is most obvious.My internet is 690mbps download / 205mbps upload on a Linksys Velop system with three nodes so I’m fairly confident that is strong enough ….. My setup is:Beam x 2 Play:1 surrounds on TVPlay:1 in kitchen2 x Symfonisk lamps stereo pair in the bedroomMove in study or on balcony Roam in bedroom / ensuite / balcony etcOne of the Symfonisk lamps is wired to a Velop node router so all wired Sonos are WM0, and the Move and Roam are WM1.Roam and Move both cut out A LOT on the balcony in particular, with the Roam clearly worse (cut off three times in five minutes earlier today). Our Connect has been dropping off the network intermittently, though more and more often.I decided it was worth a factory reset. Unplugged the Connect, made breakfast, came back and plugged it back in while holding play/pause. The light stays white - it never changes to alternating white/orange. I also notice that the light seems to be flickering slightly.Feels like a dying power supply. Any suggestions?

My roam plays for 30-60 seconds then goes silent. It shows in the app as playing and the rest of the group continues to work fine. It happens on Bluetooth and wifi and comes back to life again after a reboot (15 second press of the back button) but then goes silent again.  I have spent two hours over two evenings with the online support who insisted it was a wifi issue and said they couldn’t help as I didnt have an Ethernet cable long enough to plug my router into the playbar 🤦🏻‍♂️ They have fobbed me off and said I need to call the helpline. They dismissed that it was a speaker fault even though the roam has the fault on Bluetooth and wifi and the rest of the system works fine.  Has anyone else had the same??

After upgrade to S2 radio statitions are lacking and regularly stops.  One Sonos 3 speaker in a stereo set up also disappears. Later it normally comes back by itself.Have reset router and speakers with no luck.  

I have recently purchased a Sonos Roam as my first Sonos purchase, i was impressed with the quality of the sound coming out of this little guy. However each time it runs out of battery, I have difficulties in turning it back on/waking it up even though I have put it back on charge for at least 2 hours before attempting to power it up. I have installed the latest update for the software, Had anyone experiencing the same problem? As this is now turning into a massive disappointment for the product, what good is it to have a good sound but cannot be turned on!

Thinking of a set up for a new home “office”.I planned to use a Sonos amp connected to 2 ceiling speakers for music. Simple. I also wondered if I could connect in the TV using hdmi arc and have the tv sound come from the same ceiling speakers. Wouldn’t necessarily need to be in stereo although it may work.  The question is would the sound be ok from the tv purely though the 2 speakers without any sound bar etc? Or would it maybe sound bad as I would need a sound bar and set the as a stereo pair? It’s a lot to invest if it is going to not sound great. If that is the case I will just get a sound bar and play tv and music though that. anyone tested this set up or have any comments!? thanks!

I use an Apple TV connected to a projector -- both of which sit behind the sofa. The projection happens to a screen about 10ft away, where I have a Sonos beam placed. The Apple TV should connect to the Sonos Beam via Airplay 2. There is no TV anywhere.This setup was working till about a few days ago. Then it stopped working .The Sonos Beam can connect and play from my iPhone The Apple TV can play to other speakers in the house. The Apple TV shows the Sonos beam among the options available for sound, but when I choose it, nothing happens - no sound. In the Apple TV menu, the sound output is TV (which in this case refers to the projector’s audio) and the sound format is Dolby 5.1I am at my wits end on why it stopped working. One change is that I installed a new SSID for my home office.The previous SSID has remained as is. All entertainment devices are connected to that. So it should not be a factor. Any help on how to debug would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hello! I recently purchased and built a new home but did not install any surround house in the home. I currently have a Sonos Beam and two Sonos One SL that I purchased from costco for my living room TV to play TV/Movies and music from my app/smart TV. I am curious what I could do for my kitchen, entryway and covered patio for sound - is it possible to purchase the Sonos AMP and place in-wall speakers from another vendor in the respective rooms? If I went that route could I create different zones such as;  Living Room TV//Speakers  Entryway Garage  Outside  All Speakers playing the same What can I do to add-in a wall control inside and on the back patio? Can I use the Brilliant controls to connect my Ring cameras, Sonos Audio, etc? What’s the best wall control to use so that we could turn it down without needing to go to a mobile device on the Sonos app? Is this possible to do? What would I need? Could I set them to all be on the same account//zone?
