Hi, I have issues playing series on DisneyTV, AppleTV or Netflix via the AppleTV OS. I am using an LG smart tv (OLED65C8), combined with an Apple TV 4k (first generation) as well as a Sonos Beam for audio.When watching series or movies, every few minutes the sound cuts off for 1-2 seconds and sometimes the picture jumps a bit. Then everything is fine for a few mins before it starts again. I do not seem to have the issue when accessing Netflix content via the LG OS but would prefer to use AppleTV. Has anyone had similar issues in the past? Thank youSebastian 

On Prime Video today I played some content that has previously output Dolby Atmos  (since May 11) on my setup (Fire Stick 4K; Sonos Arc w/One SL surrounds; Roofull HDMIswitcher; HDFury Arcana, firmware .84).The movies/shows are:  The Aeronauts 4K (watched in Atmos last week) Carnival Row 4K (tested Atmos) Jack Ryan 4K (tested Atmos) Suspiria 4K (tested Atmos)Available audio is only Dolby Digital Plus.  Sonos S2 app now displays Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 instead of Dolby Atmos.(Still getting Atmos music from the Tidal Music app on the Fire Stick 4K.)Can someone with same or other setupconfirm this? 

I have the new Sonons Roam and over the weekend was able to operate it from my Iphone 12so I could open Spotify and play music or a podcast and then choose the Roam to listen to that Spotify stuff. Today I am working from home and the Roam is greyed out on the iPhone However it will play as airplay to the Roam The same Spotify account on my iPad will allow me to choose the Roam to play to. Sonos S2 app is the one on both bits of Apple kit.I have a Sonos beam attached to the TV for a soundbar and two Play 1 which are set as stereo speakers but I change them to Surround speakers for the Beam as and when a movie or gig is on.On Saturday night I had the Beam and Surround Sound Play 1’s and the Roam behind us when a gig was on TV and it all sounded brilliant. Its just frustrating that the Roam is now not showing on my iPhone app  anyone got any hints   

Hi folks,Does anyone have any detail on how networking operates for surround devices? (in WM: 2 mode).I have a frustrating issue: - My pair of Play5 Gen 2’s work fine when configured as a stereo pair - If I then configure them as surrounds for my Arc + Sub, they work fine for a little while, and then later drop from the network - they show as ? in the app and they can’t be pinged on the network I have a multi-room Sonos setup where a number of devices are connected by ethernet (but SonosNet disabled) and the rest of devices are on my UniFi WiFi network. Everything has been working flawlessly… however when I decided to switch my Play 5’s from being their own independent “room” to being the surrounds for my Arc setup (without physically moving them) the problem I describe above started.I’ve completely rebooted my setup a number of times (including router, access points, all Sonos devices, etc.)… and initially I can get everything working but then (a few hours or the next day) the surroun

the question is about an unsual multiroom system.Is it possible to use some Roam as multiroom speakers with the units permanently connected with electricity ?

Anyone know why one particular Spotify playlist (not one of my own but another I follow) won’t load in the Sonos app.  I get an “Unable to add songs to queue” message always.  The playlist has over 4K songs in it - is that the reason?   If so - why are there these limits?   I can’t change it since its not my playlist and its one I listen to often - until now.  

On my MacBook and iMac the Sonos Controller has a Sonos Playlist, but on my iPhone it only has Imported Playlist is this a difference between Apple OS and iOS or is there a way to add a Sonos Playlist to the Sonos Controller on the iPhone? Also, I have unintentionally deleted a file in Music on my iMac which had resulted in Sonos not being able to connect to my Music file. I have now created a replacement file and my Sonos controllers on the Macs recognise it and Sonos works fine accessing my Sonos Playlist. However, on my iPhone because there is no Sonos Playlist, just am Imported Playlist, I cannot access my music as the the Imported Playlist shows" No selections are available" Could you please advise how to solve this problem. I just put Vipre Advanced Security on my Windows 10 computer and the firewall is blocking Sonos.  I know that’s true because when I turn off the Firewall the app works.  Please don’t refer me to the article 688 on the Sonos site. It does NOT address Vipre and is no help with Vipre.  I suspect I need someone who ran into the same problem and solved it to help.

Hi,I just ordered the home theater setup. My question is I think I under ordered. Would you recommend two gen 3 subs with the 5’s for the rear? Versus 1 sub and the one sl ‘s in the rear. Also would you recommend the amp for that. What can I do to maximize my Sonos experience.  thank you 😊 

There have been numerous posts like this.  Usually, in the middle of the night or at the most inopportune time, my system starts playing music I never listen to at loud volumes.  There is no cat.  No one has access to my system but me.  There was an alarm set at this most recent time, but I never set it.  I usually deal with this but this whole thing is getting terribly frustrating.  I’m afraid of going to bed and having this happening.  I submitted a diagnostic: 766755487As I said, there was an alarm set, but to my knowledge no one has ever set it.

Hi, I've tried looking online for the answer to my question but had no luck. I'm hoping someone more technical can help me.I have a Sonos (5) which I've connected to the router by ethernet. I will eventually add other Sonos speakers which I believe will connect via WiFi and would mean the Sonos system will have its own WiFi network, thanks to the 5 being connected by ethernet.The issue I'm having is controlling the 5 via the app in the other side of the house. The WiFi is poor here. I have tried a WiFi extender but its sets up a separate network e.g network-EXT and the Sonos doesn't like this. It also keeps me on the -EXT connection despite me moving myself next to the router (despite the - EXT being a slower connection)How can I fix this please? I realise it's a WiFi issue. Would adding a new speaker in this part of the house allow me to control better on the app or will I need to be nearer the router? If I need to be nearer the router, meaning extending the signal, what's the best

I have used Sonos for years but have suddenly got this issue. I note that others have been told it is the WiFi network (classic tech company response) but my network is not a mesh and is rock solid for everything else and has not changed. Runs a single ssid via 1 routed and 4 access points all wired. Only reinstalling the app sorts the issue temporarily.  Apart from blaming my network is there any advice on how to fix this or is it just another example of why the s2 app is not fit for purpose?

Hello, I would like to create a sonos developer account in order to use the Control API. When I submit the account creation form I get a "something went wrong" screen. If I try to login with my email & password I get an error that says I need to confirm my email address. However I didn't receive any confirmation link. If I try to recreate my account I get an error that says the email address is already taken.  I tried to use another email address and the same thing has happened. How can I get a sonos developer account? Thank you,Simon Bergot

Hi can anyone tell me how to tune my Sonos system please ? I have hearing problems and need to turn down the base and  up the treble ? The sound seems distorted to me ! I can’t find any buttons and am not good with technology! Lol 

Hey a few weeks ago 3 speakers (out of my 7 speaker system) went missing from the app. I’ve tried reconnecting them multiple ways including “find missing product” and also rebooting them and trying to connect them as new devices. They missing devices are the older ones in the network, a play 5, play 3 and play 1. Others in the network are two Ones, a playbar and sub, and a turntable connected. When trying to add them back in, it tells me it can’t find them. If I go down the path of connecting them via a temp sonos network then connect to wifi it tells me my wifi password is wrong (it’s not). I’ve tried plugging in with a LAN cable too it still won’t work. Suspicious all 3 devices stopped working the same day. Pretty expensive paperweights! I’m still on S1 because of the 5 and connect used for the turntable.

I have two microphone-enabled sonos-one speakers in my sonos system. Instructions to Alexa work through only one of the two speakers. The microphone lamp is glowing on both speakers. How do I troubleshoot and fix this please?

Ordered my Amp June 5th, they are saying august for it to be shipped. Has anyone experienced the order coming earlier? I am just curious as to what kind of timeline everyone else is getting. Thanks in advance!

Hi there. Im having lots of trouble with speakers dropping off my windows based S2 software, as well as lots of “Unable to connect” errors with Spotify. My diag code 1139617590. Any help to identify where the problem might be would be great

Newbie here..About to purchase a sub Gen 3 and wonder this placement for vertical position.  This place I propose is just near to corner of wall and furniture. Based on this dimension, after placement for this new sub, I’m expecting both side gaps will be about 70mm.   it is sufficient for a better bass reproduction or what is min limitation should I consider.   

Sonos regularly beeps as if I’d asked it something and replies “I don’t understand your question” - it’s in an entirely different room and no-one is anywhere near it …. thoughts?

Hey guys, I have the Sonos arc, 2 gen 3 subs, and a pair of one sl’s… my question is I have the one sl mounted on the wall with the power cable ran through the wall, I would like to upgrade to the Sonos 5s for more surround sound… are the power cables from the one sl interchangeable with the Sonos 5s??? This way it could be just a simple swap… thanks everyone 

I’ve recently bought a Sonos Roam speaker, when I try to link it to my Sonos speakers, I keep being told I need to update the app, and when I try over and over again, I’m told it’s not working. I’ve traced this to the fact I still use a Sonos bridge for my original Sonos 5 speaker which I still use via the Sonos 1 app. My other speakers are used via the Sonos 2 app and this is the app I am trying to link the Sonos Roam to but it still comes back saying update the app and then says it can’t update because of the Bridge ( which I obviously don’t use on the Sonos 2 app). I feel like I’m going round in circles. Can anyone help me please as I have a brand new speaker now which I can’t use!

I just purchased a Sonos Five to replace 2 sonos Ones in my living room. Since it’s an open space connected to the kitchen and dining room, I tought a Five would be more suited to better fill the room. Also, I didn’t have a good stereo placement for the Ones (they are now in my office). However and to my surprise, it seems that the Five sound is way less powerfull than my pair of Ones and is even less powefull than my Beam. As an example, when I play music on both the Five and the Beam (which are in the same room), the Beam sounds way louder, richer and seems to overtake the Five for audio quality. I have to turn up the Five volume at least twice as loud if I want to hear it over the Beam. Also, the bass seems almost non-existent. I cheked the settings and there is no volume limit. Is there an issue with my Sonos Five/something I’m doing wrong, or is the Five just not as powerfull as I expected? Thank you for your help!
