I can’t add my surround speakers to my arc. I did before, but one of them dropped out, know I can’t connect them again. I did factory reset on the one that dropped out. The system asks if I want to may the two speakers surround speakers. I say yes, then one of them gives a sound and I click that picture. Then the system fails to complete the setup. The faulty speakers is again lost by the system. Before I try to make the surround connection I can use the speaker as normal with no problems. Any one know what could be wrong?

Refrain from Factory Reset without further consult.

I suggest that you reboot ARC and remove any surround speaker still showing. You will probably need to wire the speaker that was Factory Reset to your network, then add it to the system. You may need to reboot ARC again.

Once you have all of the speakers visible as individual speakers, you’ll be able to rebuild the surround system.

Here is a second path to resolve your issue. I’m sorry that I don’t know which path you should try first and you may need to use both paths.

If you are using an iPhone/iPad controller, I suggest that you uninstall the controller and install a fresh copy.

Thank you! Rebooting the ARC did the trick. Now it works fine.
