I am playing music from iTunes on my Mac thru 2 Sonos speakers that are wirelessly connected to the same router that my Mac is using. There is nothing in this arrangements coming in off the internet. The router is connect to the internet but not using it for this setup]. Yet, periodically, I'll get a few seconds gap in the sound out of the speakers. There are no error messages.  If the music was coming off the internet, I could say it was over demand on the internet but since it is not...Any ideas???

Probably a dumb/easy question but I couldn’t find the answer anywhere. Can I use any USB-C cable to charge the Roam? The one provided with it doesn’t quite fit with the silicone case I bought due to the way it’s angled.

Hi guys, Hoping someone can help. I have a Playbar hooked up to my Sony TV. If I put the TV on and set the volume to what I want when watching a movie - it’s great.  However, if I then turn the TV off and ask Alexa (Echo) to play a song through the Playbar (using Spotify) - the volume is almost double as loud as the TV.  So loud in fact that my GF did it the other day and it’s actually blown the bass speakers in the Playbar (a separate issue).   When I look at the Sonos IOS app whilst doing the above, the volume slider remains at the same level for both TV and Music however what I hear is completely different.  Anyone got any ideas on what it could be and how to fix it without having to open the Sonos app and lower the slider before choosing music (which defeats the object of wireless / voice activation)?  ThanksDan

I have an existing sonos network consisting of a Beam and Play:1 speaker. The Sonos S2 controller on my Android phone can connect to the system and play music on both speakers.   On my MacBook Pro 2012 (MacOs version 10.15.7) the Spotify app can see both speakers and play music on them. However, the Sonos Controller app (version 13.2) running on the MacBook can’t find the existing system.  I’ve rebooted router, macbook, and speakers and still nothing. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app on the MacBook and that didn’t fix the issue.  The firewall on the macbook is off.  Beam is wired to the router, Play:1 is wifi connected. Phone and MacBook use the same Wifi network (5Ghz) to connect to router. I’ve run out of ideas what else should I check?

Don’t play my Sonos One SL any radio station: Apple Music 1, Apple Music Hits and Apple Music Country.  In my mind, after a new iPhone Sonos app, or Firmware. Can you help me?

Arc + Sub + 2 One SurroundsLove the sound, love the system (when it is paired and working as expected).Beyond frustrated with the unreliability with the system to remember the pairing settings after a power outage. I’ve had this system for a little over a year since the Arc hit the market, and have repeatedly run into issues of having to remove and reinstall/pair the surrounds and the sub when a power outage or something occurs that causes a reboot of the router. I don’t have any issues with any other of the 20+ wireless devices on my network when an outage occurs, only problems with the Arc surround system remembering the rear surround and the sub.Each time this issue occurs, my first step from the app is to go through Support > Find Missing Products. The app successfully identifies the two One speakers and the Sub as missing from the system, however walking through the device and router restarts has never been successful and continuously ends with a message saying the devices were

Hopefully someone can help!I’m having an issue with my system. When I change tracks some of the speakers change instantly where others in the house are slightly behind, anything up to 10 seconds slower to respond. It is not always the same ones that have the delay.I have on my system a playbar, sub and 2 play ones grouped, and also 4 other play ones and a play three all separate. I have tried re-booting, changing the WiFi channel and connecting one directly to the router, none of which has worked. I am also now running a boost connected to my router which hasn’t helped either.Any ideas would be much appreciated. 

Pandora stopped working for me.. I can browse my stations but click ‘Play’ and nothing…I restarted all Sonos devices..  shut down all Sonos apps.. deleted the Pandora services.. Added it back and get weird messages.. “Pandora is conducting system maintenance. Please try again later”.. Waited a day.. same results.  Oddly after I get the above message it says in my Sonos app the service was added but still nothing plays.  HELP !  

Audacy has a number of “exclusive” stations that appear to be curated streams (for example, Americana, by the DJ Lin Brehmer at wXRT in Chicago).  I can access that exclusive station directly from the Audacy website and from the wXRT website -- but I cannot find it on my Sonos.  All I see on Sonos are the actual radio stations (including wXRT).  QUESTION:  how do I access an audacy exclusive station on my Sonos system?thanks

hi there. For my husband’s 50th I want to buy him a turntable to connect to our current Sonos system.  I don’t want to spend so much money so thinking of buying a non-Sonos turntable.But when I’ve read the Sonos blogs, if we have a turntable then it says we need a Play5 Speaker - does anyone know if this is correct? We only have a Play 3 speaker, a Beam, 3 Play 1’s and a Roam.  

Had it all setup - then suddenly the 2 PLAY:1 drops of - adding them again but when I try to add them as surround it fails - The network are stabil and all products are on… so what do I do? “Add surround speakers. This will take a minute...”“There is a problem adding your surround speakers. Check your network connection, and check that your products is on” 

Hi bought a new arc, however I can’t connect my okd sonos sub, that I used with my playbar. ? The Sonos app, keep indicating sub not found ? Is it powered on and connected the answer is yes power on I can see the light and I connected to my router via Ethernet ? Can anyone provide any help ? 

Why does my Beam keep getting lost? I am new to Sonos products and rapidly coming to the opinion I should have stayed away. I bought a beam to go with my projector and thought I might add more later. So far I find the sound quality really good but the software is far too complex. What is worse is my profile keeps loosing the beam. Tonight I am sat here with my phone linked via wi fi listening to music. With the music still playing the software tells me I have no device connected. I have no control over the beam. I follow the instructions which have me turning the speaker off at the power supply and reseting all the connections. Why does this keep happening? 

Hello, as I just received my SONOS ROAM I have tried many times today to get it connected in Bluetooth by following the procedure as described in that link.https://support.sonos.com/s/article/4989?language=frSo I kept pressing the button at the back but the blue light never went on and as a consequence the product had been left undiscovered for my mobile phone.Is there anyone who encountered the same issue & what should I do to get it solve.Thanks for your help

Hello everyone,Two-part question.  I previously posted that I have a dated TV (Sharp) that while equipped with ARC, does not deliver DD5.1 to my Beam (neither first or second Gen).  I am interesting in replacing the TV, but have noticed some issues cropping up with LG to ARC.  My questions are:Is there a comprehensive list of SONOS compatible eARC TVs?  The closest I came to was off RTINGS.com, but that is not necessarily geared to SONOS compatible products.  Save for going to a big box store and trying to fiddle with things, there has to be a more efficient way to achieve a truly clean solution is the ARC a good surrogate measure for the BEAM Gen2?  I am asking the question in the context of ATMO so basically, if the TV works with ARC, does it stand to reason it will do similarly with BEAM Gen2?Many thanks for all opinions.Thank you.

Dear Sonos Team,I have a projector, which leads to a suboptimal speaker setup for the room.  The projector and beam are behind the couch, while the surround speakers (two 3s) are in front of us.  Is it possible to flip the output, such that the main audio comes from the surround speaker (in front of me) and the surround sound comes from the beam.  I don’t want to have wires running up and down and across my minimalistic living room, with a beam floating alone on an empty wall where the projection is. Thanks for your support!

Morning, today for the first time I’ve found that I’m getting large popups in the Sonos app advertising new features of the Sonos Radio service, this despite me never using it and having Contact Preferences in my profile set to have both Email and Sonos App unticked. So far this morning I’ve had three large popups obscuring my Sonos app every time I’ve gone into it.Screenshots here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/fHtRJV7JW53iEfAC8Is this a recent update to blame? My contact preferences have not changed. None of the popups were in any way shape or form an “important announcement” which are still sent even when preferences are set to not permit contact.

I’m having an issue which with the Sonos controller not reading my audio files from my NAS drives; I have had no issue with this until the most recent update version 13.2. Looking on this forum and the wider internet there is clearly been a number of instances of this happening in the past.So after painstakingly going through as many forum responses as I can I’ve tried the following to no avail:Removed said folder from Sonos app and tried re-mapping to the library (this is where I’m now stuck as the Sonos App will not allow the folder to be added due to Access to shared folder is denied message)Restarted everything - Laptop, Router, NAS multiple times.Turned off firewalls on all devices still no change.Changed permissions of various folders to allow full access from anywhere, again no change.Opened a number of Ports on my PC/Router which where suggested by the Sonos help FAQ’s, no change.Ensured my computer had the correct NODE type set up (it does).Checked the date and time zone both

I have added a new Arc and Sub to my system. The Arc is working fine (like the Playbar before it), but the Sub keeps disconnecting - in the app I then see “Arc +?”.The Sub is about 1 m from the Arc and around 5 m from the access point. I cannot imagine that the WiFi signal might be too weak, so I have no idea why the Sub keeps disconnecting.When the Sub is disconnected, sometimes the app asks me if I want to add the sub to the WiFi network, but this usually doesn’t work. The only thing that helps is either rebooting the access point, or unplugging the Sub. Unfortunately, the disconnect happens every 1-2 days, so this is not a solution.What can I do? Diagnostics: 1923053313 Many thanks in advance!Markus  

For several years my Sonos has played my albums on my WD My book live. I am now receiving a message that my book live does not exist. The drive is connected directly to the bridge with a cable.I have tried disconnecting everything and rebooting. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the NAS drive . I am not tech savvy and have looked through other posts but to no avail. Any ideas?

I try to add a music library on the ios app on an ipad. I get asked the path of my music files (\\computer name\\path) and I have great difficulties specifying that path. At least \\name of ipad\folder name does not work. Any ideas how I can find the path of an folder including computer name? Thanks!
