Can't get my sonos 5 gen 1 to be recognised on the same network as my sonos amp. Tried wireless tried LAN tried using the sonos bridge.

Any advice?

Hi

I would remove the Bridge in wired mode. It is outdated and known to cause issues. To create the SonosNet wire the Sonos Amp or purchase a Sonos Boost.

You may have to factory reset your Play 5 Gen 1 regardless if on WiFi or Wired mode. 
 

You can also submit a diagnostic via the app and post the reference ID in your next post.

You also need to make sure that both are setup for the S1 network.
