Does Sonos Amp show up as a Google Home speaker?   

 

I have wired ceiling speaker pairs installed in my kitchen and am thinking of getting a  Sonos Amp to power them for streaming music.  The kitchen has a Google Home and I would like to set the Sonos Amp as the ‘Default music speaker’. This when I ask the Google Home to play music, it’ll play on the Kitchen ceiling speakers via the Sonos Amp.

 

I have a Sonos Arc and it does show up as a Google Home speaker that I can bind to a Google Home as the default speaker for music. Does Sonos Amp do the same?

Yes, you should be able to set the Amp as the default speaker for the Google Home in your kitchen.
