After working fine for ages commands to Alexa for a Sonos Play:1 now just come back with “Sorry I’m having trouble, please try in a little while”Ive tried all normal fixes, remove/re-discover the Sonos device, disable/re-enable the Sonos skill, restarted the Sonos and even factory reset the Echo Show.

Has anyone successfully pair a Roam to a 2021 Samsung Frame TV.The Frame TV supports the use of Bluetooth speakers, but when I try and pair the Roam (using the same technique that successfully paired it to my laptop), it fails to show up in the list of pairable speakers.Curious to know if anyone has done this.

Does anyone have any good solutions for cleaning the grill of the arc from child induced peanut butter smeared into it?

I woke up this morning to an app update, which also updated the speakers.  The update shows 13.3.2 however only the Arc, Beam and Amp updated their version, the rest of my speakers stayed on 13.3.  Assuming this is an update to the HT setups, I am curious if any of you have noticed this update bringing more than bug fixes.

My Sonos play 1 is about a month out of warranty. There is no power now on the unit. The power cable seems ok as I have a spare and had no luck using that one either.Can anyone help?Thanks

I am having problems with apple airplay dropping on my new iPhone.   I have several sonos devices, about 14 speakers; they are all airplay compatible.  I also have a sonos boost.  I have a very large iTunes library and I primarily play music screaming over airplay from this library to the sonos speakers.   I also have a apple IPad and I do not see this problem when using this device.  I can play music from sonos apps stations without a problem on both devices. When I am starting music on my iPhone playing over airplay I select my speakers they select and play, they all play for a short time, then it starts dropping speakers, a few will continue to play.   I go to the airplay speaker selection  and they are no longer selected.  This also seem to be related to the number of speakers I select to play. I can select them again and they may start playing again or they may not.   As I said above, my ipad doesn’t have this problem and they are using the same OS version.Another problem I am see

I am subscribing to UTube Premium for some of the video features so want to also drop Amazon Music and use UTube Music rather than pay monthly for two similar services.Is there any way to migrate my albums and playlists from Amazon to UTube?If not, there should be. I ran into this same issue a long time ago when I moved from Google Play Music to Amazon Music.Perhaps editing some internal file on the PC or the Android or is all of this kept in the speakers themselves or on the Sonos site in some database? It would be nice to have a conversion tool that  would convert to the extent possible if not completely when possible. I use the S1 system.Thx

We have 8 Sonos speakers on our home system, plus a boost. Randomly, the music will stop playing through different speakers at different times, but continue through others.  Then it will randomly come back to all of them.  This happens fairly ofter. It does seem that it happens most often to the speaker that is closest to our router and boost. Tried most of the fixes I’ve read here, but feeling like the solution is over my head. Diagnostics # is 1367912203.  Just submitted it while it was happening.

Ran diagnostics. Confirmation 1582975684.Tried Ethernet but cuts out a lot. Have mesh Nest Wifi with gigabit service.When I unplugged and used thru wifi, doesn’t cut out as often but still does periodically. Nest wifi base station is close to Sonos products

We have a Sonos Playbar connected to an LG ThinQ Smart TV’s optical (toslink) output for sound. We also have a pair of Play:5 Gen 2s grouped with the Playbar.  If I mute the TV it turns off the sound coming from the Playbar but not the Play:5s grouped with them. Is there some kind of settings change so the Play:5s also become muted.  I noticed pressing mute on the TV remote shows the Playbar is muted in the Sonos App.

There seems to be a really old thread on this where Sonos stopped responding, so I thought I would follow up - any update on being able to play Apple Music via Google Assistant? This feature has been available for Google Assistant for a while, and I think Sonos may be the only speaker that doesn’t do this in the market. Any update?

What is the screen saver for Beam gen 2 as I have  the beam as screen saver instead of the normal black screen with white wriggly lines that I had for the Beam gen 1 and ARC on my tv?

I have two play 1s linked to a Beam. This is setup as a surround system.Both play 1s can be connected to Ethernet if needed. The Beam is connected to the TV by the HDMI to Optical cable/adapter.what I have been finding is the one of the play 1s the “right” one keeps clipping out when watching TV or listening to music. This happens if on WiFi or on Ethernet.  I’m starting to think the play 1 is faulty or failing. I have done a diagnostic report but not sure how to submit it to Sonos as the online chat is not available number is 1438370456Can anyone offer advice? 

I have a client with fairly large system spread out over 2 structures. There is a mixture of wired/wireless Sonos devices throughout both structures, all on the same network. I have a managed network and it all works perfectly. He is now adding a pavilion 400-500ft away and wants Sonos available there. I am beaming WiFi to the pavilion from the nearest structure. My question is, will a Sonos Five or Sonos Move connect to the network via WiFi and function properly within the app? It will not be able to communicate via Sonos Mesh with the other players/speakers as it will be too far away, and there will be no wired option available. I tried this in the past at a very large home and couldn’t get it to work and ending up wiring it there.thanks for reading

HiI see lots of older posts  and threads about Sonos and Mesh setup. Have they now all been resolved ? I want to buy a Linksys Velop 4 node system, and will use that as my only WiFi - (Replacing my 1 AP now, I don’t use the Router built in WiFi)  but I want to know if it will work out of the box? I don’t wnat to have to go messing with settings to get specific channels setup, or not to use the bridge were the WiFi system decides what band/channel to use. So I just want plug and play really. Has anyone any experence of what works for them? I have a TP-Link in AP mode today, but have had to turn off the Bridge as Sonos dissapears, and I don’t want to invest in Linksys unless I know it works?Or would I be Better off buying some AP’s and setting up a controler, and selecting the same 2.4Ghz channel (1,6,11 or whatever) on all teh AP’s and a seperate 5Ghz for my faster stuff?  What have others done here? Appricate all feedback - thanks

Surely the levelling of volume is achievable? Yes it would mean analysing the tracks and making calculations to play louder or quieter than the previous track(s) but this shouldn’t be asking too much given the tech in the Sonos gear/software/infrastructure?It’s my major gripe with the system in that if another system came out claiming to deliver on that one thing I’d consider swapping and selling all my 12 Sonos bits.Surely it’s on a roadmap somewhere?

I have the Arc that connected to my old regular LED.It's great, but I brought it for better sound..now what happens when I buy a new TV, like LG C1 And the TV has dolby atmos! Now, I have dolby atmos in my new TV and my Arc soundbar.  I'm sorry but I don't get it, if the Arc is connected to the TV, then the TV sound is off.. of it's off I don't need a TV with  dolby atmos? Or I can use the all system to works as ONE (the TV with the Arc) ? Thanks in advance 

Hi Sonos friends. I am considering connecting a Sonos connect gen2 or port to my Control4 ea-3 to stream music from my Control4 tidal to my Sonos arc. this way I add an extra room to my Control4 ecosystem. Has anyone seen this done before and am I right in assuming that I can stream (no hard connection ) from the connect or port to the arc?

Hi, Please let us add several group sound settings to be able to save and quickly access.  Either when changing the place to sit or the type of source used (TV, Music, Podcasts...) I always have to adjust the sound loudness settings manually over and over again. Additionally if you can not only save the sound loudness setting but also the Equalizer setting for it as well.  It would be great if this feature could be added. Best regards,Henrik

I have a Marantz 1080P projector with HDMI connections.  In order to use the ARC speaker which I bought to provide the sound for my projector, I had to buy a Fury HD Arcana that allows the Marantz HDMI cable to connect to the Fury HDMI-output and then the HDMI cable from the ARC goes to the E-arc output of the Fury. Then if I plug in my Apple TV HDMI cable directly into the Fury HDMI input, I can see the screen. However, when I try to use airplay in Apple TV to mirror my computer onto the projector screen, I have a picture but no sound. How can I get the sound to play from my computer on Sonos. I do have a Sonos connect that I am not using and I am wondering if that could be used in some way to bridge the sound from the computer to the Sonos app. Also, when I try to connect an HDMI cable from the Fury-input to the 5 port HDR switcher output and then connect the  Apple TV’s HDMI cable to the HDR switcher it doesn’t see the Apple TV. 

Hello. I am trying to find a way to connect Sonos beam with 2 different output devices (one TV and one projector). They won’t be playing at the same time, just want to switch between on or other.My main issue with this setup is that the main source of input in both of these is a PC and I have only 1 HDMI cable running to the projector (it is ceiling mounted and the cable is inside the walls. I know I can use an HDMI splitter to give signal to both TV and projector, but can’t find out how to get the Beam to run with this.

Hi everyone,I am unsure when did this happen but my Sonos Amp can decode LPCM multichannel. I realised this with my PS5 that was set up in LPCM and I was still getting Dolby Digital 5.1.To make sure I tried my Nintendo Switch and yes I now have surrounds working as surrounds, on the Sonos app it says Dolby Digital 5.1. My Sony X950h is set to audio pass through.Could any of the Sonos team member explains this?  Thank you!

HiSeems like this is a common issue but has anyone figured out the fix?Playing Spotify within the Sonos app: I start a playlist for example, and everything plays nicely. However, if I search for a song and select “Play Next”, it appears next in the queue but almost every time, it will skip this song and play the next one on the queue.If I select shuffle, the queue order changes, it will almost always skip the next track and play the one after. If I remove a song from the queue because I don’t want to hear it, it will almost always skip what is now the next song. No, it doesn’t do this playing from within the Spotify App, but we want to use the Sonos App to manage the queue so both of us can access it rather that being stuck with one of us driving a connect session.This also still happens if I test it using only “Front Bedroom” pair of Play:1s, both of which are connected via ethernet to the router.Diagnostic taken just after a skip: 2111614116The Router is a TPLink Archer MR600 4g Rout

Hi guys, new on here so excuse my lack of knowledge about speakers. I'm building a house and wanted some advice on speaker placement. I will mainly be using them for watching TV and listening to music. I was going to use the sonos arc, sub and 2 ceiling speakers for rears. I'm open to using wall mounted if that's a better option sound wise. I have included a picture of the room layout (circled) so all suggestions welcome, thanks.
