Hello, I have a question that may be absurd. Does the SONOS Arc have an HDMI ARC or is it HDMI eARC ?. The doubt comes from the fact that on the website, in the summary section, it appears as HDMI eARC but in the specifications it says HDMI ARC. Can someone with SONOS Arc answer? Thank you

Yes. ARC is a subset (older standard as part of) eARC.

For instance, and for more hopefully useful information, I have two Arcs. One is on eARC through an HD Fury Arcana device, the other is on ARC, through a Vizio TV.

Thank you very much Bruce for your contributions and help. It has already been clear to me that the SONOS Arc can be connected to an HDMI eARC or an HDMI ARC, but the question is: What type of HDMI does the SONOS Arc have, is it an HDMI eARC or an HDMI ARC? Thank you

The Arc has an HDMI ARC port that supports HDMI ARC and eARC connections and optical with the optical audio adaptor.

OK, thank you very much for solving the doubt I had.

The point I was trying to make is that if it is eARC, then by definition it is ARC. eARC includes the ARC specification.

In reality, it has neither.  The ARC or eARC port is on the audio source, i.e. the TV.  The Arc is merely receiving the ARC or eARC signal generated by the ARC or eARC source.
