The power went out on our house and the sonos sysytem stopped working - tried to reboot but the connect ZP90 I use for ethernet connection has no lights on front - does this mean it is ded?

I used Sonos 1 for years and never had a problem with the app.I upgraded to Sonos 2 last summer and the app needs to be reset every week - it’s really annoying.It says it can’t find the system, then the diagnostic finds it, then it asks me to switch the port and the speakers off and switch them on again.I’m using an iPhone 11 - the app my 6 year old iPad doesn’t seem to have the same problem and can always see the speakers - I’ve restarted the phone and the problem persists so I don’t think it’s the phone that’s at fault.Some times the app then just finds the speaker an hour later - even though I did nothing - just gave up - another reason I think t’s the app not the phone.Any ideas ??

Hello there,When my Sonos Play5 Gen2 starts booting up, the main LED keeps flashing white forever and never connects to the Internet router. I try connecting directly through Ethernet and there is no difference.I also tried a long press to the rear button but I can’t get it to do any network reset or reset at all. My Play5 just keeps the LED flashing as long as there is power and nothing else happens, even if I keep the power on for hours.From the SONOS App, I can not get to see the Play5, so Im totally blocked here.I power cycled the unit like 10 times and still the same issue. I would appreciate any help in what to do or test or report here to get my Play5 working again.  NOTE: I have a SONOS BEAM and ROAM in the same network and they work perfectly and I can control them with the SONOS App. Thanks in advance!Rub

We have eight Sonos speakers around the house. I'd like to change the wake word on just one of them - Sonos Smooth - to a wake word other than “Alexa". It seems to be impossible. Is it? 

I have used SONOS since its beginning.  Recently I have had to “force quit” the OS app every time I use it.  Once opened, it works , click “quit” and the program hangs and I have to “force quit”. All software up to date including updated SONOS. Using Mac OS Ventura 13.2.1, MacBook M1 2020. Don’t know why this is occurring .

Si system. New W11 laptop. Controller says can’t connect to Sonos.  More options, connect to existing system. Finds system but press done and goes back to sorry etc. Tried everything including re-installing Sonos. Can you help please

After moving house and setting up my speaker again six months ago I lost the ability to ask Alexa to play BBC sounds. I have tried using Alexa, Google and Sonos voice assistants but nothing works. I'm currently using Google which always defaults to try and play it through Tune In radio which doesn't work with the app on my phone and still tries to use it even with the app uninstalled on my phone! It's incredibly frustrating as this was all I really used the speaker for.

Sonos says to go into settings as usual half the info needed - settings where on the mac in the app where FFS? 

Hello everybody, up until recently for whatever reason the arc and tv is playing audio together. The hdmi is going into arc of the tv and to the soundbar. I can manually go into the settings of the tv and switch the audio input to ( audio system) to bypass but in the last month It started doing this everytime I turn on the tv. My sources is an Apple TV & a Xbox in case anyone is experiencing this. Any feed back helps 

Can I use my play5 2nd gens Ethernet ports to get a LAN connection for my PC?I have a Connect Amp connected to my router downstairs.I’m sure that previously I connected my upstairs PC to the ethernet port on my play 5 and was able to access the internet for my PC via the play5.   When I do this now the PC just say its a unidentified network with no internet access.Is this possible?I’m sure I did this a few years ago and the PC when online straight away…Thanks in advancePaul

Having downloaded my music to Sonos numerous song titles are missing ie. (1 CP SCP Side One01 -1mp3) I therefore cannot tell what track I am playing on a particular album can I rectify this?

I re-write because the first post gives a “page not found”.My configuration is: two stero Five’s + sub. Five’s are new; sub is a gen 2 refurbished, bought on Sonos website in december ‘21.Sub works correctly, but 2 minutes after turning off music reproduction, you can hear one single  soft “pop”. This happens also if the sub is off (green flashing liight).Is it normal?Diagnostic number is 1879570162.Thanx!

My Sonos arc keeps dropping off from the WiFi and I get a message in the app saying "sonos arc can't connect to your WiFi system, do you want to fix this now?" This happens daily and the only resolution is to power off and back on. I've tried everything to fix it, from moving items around to turning the 5ghz band off on the router. I've even had a replacement soundbar. I previously had issues with the sub dropping out, so I disconnected my philips hue lights as I believe they were causing WiFi interference.  

If I say "Alexa, play Radio 4" BBC Sounds through my Sonos One says "Playing BBC Radio 4” followed by "BBC Sounds”…but then goes silent. I’ve followed all the tips and suggestions I can find but to no avail. Help!

I recently have some problems using my Play 1 to stream music from Spotify. It keeps skipping songs at first and then just stops completely. The error message displayed on my app suggests that my Wi-fi connection is unstable, but streaming music from SoundCloud works perfectly fine, so I suppose there is some other reasons.  Although I am not sure whether this problem is caused by Spotify or SONOS, I am hoping that there may be some solutions because Spotify is the main service I use. Please let me know if there's any way to solve this. Thanks.

Hello, Does anyone have one of these on a Playbar?https://soundskins.com/product/soundskin-playbar-charcoal-black/Everything I’ve read says they are acoustically transparent and allow for use of buttons, but I don’t see anything about IR. Would I still be able to use my remote to control volume?I have my Playbar mounted above my projector screen and I am working on blacking out everything around the screen. The gray part of the Playbar is really popping now  I’m interested in hearing from someone that actually has a Soundskin cover on a Playbar.Thank you

Hi therei have two connect:amps, one for kitchen, one for garden. The garden is the amp connected to router.  this was working fine till yesterday. Nothing has changed. Now kitchen dropped off Sonos 1 app and I can’t reconnect and the amp won’t reset, i.e. unplug, hold buttons, get flashing lights… when I try and do the reset the light just stays solid white.   any ideas? 

So I have been trouble shooting this issue since the first week of November 2022.I have had my setup since June 2022, with no issues until the first week of November.I have an ARC sound bad, gen3 Sub and 2 One SL that I use as surrounds. They area all bonded to the arc in the living room. I have gone through multiple trouble shooting sessions via chat and on the phone as well.The issue: There is an audio delay from the One SL surrounds whenever I am watching TV or streaming audio. The audio from the TV to the Arc is perfect, there is a delay coming from the surrounds only. Whenever I start a session, the audio is in sync for the first 10 or so minutes, and then the delay becomes noticeable. When I change the source, or when I turn off the surrounds and turn them back on immediately in the app, they are in sync again, until 10 or so minutes the delay becomes noticeable.
