Using Sonos AMP Sub output to 3rd party amplifier

Hello,

I have a Sonos amp that I would like to use the RCA Sub output to connect to a 3rd party powered Amp. I would like to split the signal and feed 2 discreet inputs and feed the subs independently with the same signal. Will this work with this setup considering the low pass filter on the Sonos amp when the connection is detected? Thanks

An RCA-Y can split AMP’s line level subwoofer output. AMP will detect the subwoofer connection and insert a high pass filter in AMP’s speaker output and a low pass filter in the subwoofer output.

I’m not sure what you mean by “considering the low pass filter on the Sonos Amp when the connection is detected”. Why would the Amp change behavior when it would detect two Amps (if it even could differentiate)?

Y-splitter should work fine with the sub-out.

Not sure why you think the low-pass filter would affect this, so hope I understood your question correctly.
