Hi - my sonos connect amp has been working fine but is no longer responding or showing in my system. It has a flashing white light and when I connected it to Ethernet has a green light and a similarly flashing amber light on the Ethernet port. I have tried the troubleshooter a few times and then tried a factory reset, but it just goes back to flashing white. I don’t appear to have any other options available?

Like a lot of people, it seems, I have this problem. It’s been going on for a long time and I keep thinking it’ll get fixed but doesn’t. I read an extremely long thread on it (Sonos no longer recognizing folder.jpg for cover art?) in which replies ended many months ago and there seems to have been no resolution. What is the status?My music library is on a Synology NAS with SMB2 min, SMB3 max. I have a mix of MP3s with embedded art (600x600) and WMAs with a folder.jpg in the containing folder. The issues are not unique to either type; both types fail to display properly at random times. I always play large WPL imported playlists. I frequently update these playlists with manually shuffled versions (I did not feel that Sonos’ shuffle was random enough so I shuffle the playlists myself). My library auto-updates at 4am daily.  I’ve spent (and continue to spend) a great deal of time curating my library with tags and cover art and it is constantly irritating to see the art not showing properl

Hello i am a newbie in sonos , is it possible connect onkyo DAP dp-s1 to sonos arc ?  Thx

I just bought the Onkyo nr-tx696 because of its work with sonos integration. I set it all up and it turns on and I can adjust volume using Sonos. The problem I am having is that I cant get it to go into standby after I stop playing music. I have tried multiple settings and my understanding is that the receiver is supposed to recognize after 20 mins of no signal and go into standby, however its not doing it. Anyone have any suggestions?

Went out on the boat Thursday came back and sitting on the dock wanted to play music via my iPhone  and SONO to a Play 1 on the dock. I could not get Wifi, (usually I do) so just listened to Pandora at the dock on the iPhone. Came back in the house and started working the issue. Have had other issues with HomeKit and Meross switches. and I have moved routers around etc. This morning I noticed that 3 of my speakers were not found. Tried all the plug unplug etc. One complaint is that SONOs had to run Update required 3 times as I was getting everything reenabled, assume it was for each of the speakers, wish it could have been all at one time. I have a SONOS Net Mesh Network. I have a Boost that I have placed up flat against a window pointing at the dock to get better coverage. What I found today is that sitting at the dock, like Thursday, SONOS will work great but I need Wifi on my iphone to get it started. I am assuming that my SONOS Net Boost is getting the signal to the dock. Is there

I have painstakingly set my alarms for specific programmes to turn on automatically. Can I share these with a (future) Sonos user to make life easier for that person (he is less tech savvy then me). Thanks, Miriam

We had to turn power off to our whole house briefly and now Sonos will not play music. Tried rebooting modem and Arc. Tried updating system and get error code 1101.

Play 1 (stereo pair) + Play 3 been running well for years. Controlled bi iPad app. Music source is also on iPad. No connection or network changes but recently Sonos system is “not recognised” by the app even if the system is actually playing! Running the Fix prompts eventually finds that the system was there all the time. Getting very fed up with this.

Hiim trying to play back Dolby atmos music from Apple Music on my iPhone to my Arc. From Apple Music I play an Atmos song, AirPlay it to the Arc.However when I go into the Sonos app on my phone it just says “AirPlay” where for a movie etc it would show “Atmos”.  Im almost certain I had it saying “Atmos” on Saturday evening from the same set up, but I’d had a bottle of wine so can’t be sure!how do I stream Atmos music to the arc please? thanks 

I want my Sonos One to be the default music speaker when I say a command like “play rock music” or when it’s already playing “play the next song” without having to mention which speaker. I don't have the option in the home app that's mentioned in other threads. 

Hello !I recently bought a Sonos Ray to remove my bulky pc speakers.The Sonos Ray works... but randomly:Sometimes, after 5 minutes (sometimes 2 hours), the sound will start to scratch which forces me to change the audio source and then put it back.The speaker is up to date, my computer too, Windows, the Bios too.I also tried to change the optical cable but the problem is still there.If ever, my motherboard is a MSI Z590 Torpedo and I'm under Windows 10. Have others already had this problem?Thanks 🙏 

Hi,Need some help with an annoying issue. I have a Samsung TV (QE55R 2019) + Beam Gen. 2. At startup of the tv it cycles thru connecting and disconnecting HDMI-eArc some 4-8 times before settling on either eArc on or off (roulette). I have tried disconnecting everything (have a PS5 connected to the one-connect box also). Think the problem started when I connected the PS5 but not sure. Have tried several fixes and nothing seems to get rid if the connect/disconnect cycling. 

I see messages saying that Apple have fixed this…. Well not in my house they haven’t, so I’ve got three pairs of Sonos speakers, that won’t talk to my iMac, my iPhone or my iPad. again. 😡

Hello all. I’m thinking of purchasing an ARC and SUB with two ERA 300s in the rear. I’m looking for the ATMOS experience plus  superior music from streaming apps and line in from a CD player.My question is what are the max amount of speakers I can connect together in the same room? For instance, could I also add two Sonos ones for side speakers? Or is this overkill?thanks,Jmsblckhll

I’ve reset the lamp several times. Sometimes while plugged into the router and other times not. When I plug it into the router the speaker works with streaming services, when it’s on wifi only nothing works. Still shows up in the Sonos app on wifi and I can control status light and touch controls so it’s somewhat connected, but no streaming services work with it. 

I currently have 2 - 5’s and a sub that I use for listening to music in one room and a separate TV room for watching movies. I plan on combining all into one room as I don’t listen to music and watch movies at the same time. I would like to incorporate the 2 - 5’s, Sub, and possibly a Ray/Beam/Arc with a new TV. When watching movies all systems would be used, when listening to music the Ray/Beam/Arc would be off (the only reason being, I like certain music LOUD and not sure if a soundbar should be in the mix?? Also not sure what soundbar would pair best with the existing 5’s?Or, should I look for a tv with better sound and use it as the soundbar with the 5’s and Sub? My current TV doesn’t have Bluetooth, but I’m assuming I can connect the 5’s and Sub through that if I forego the soundbar for the tv sound?Also I run everything through a Roku Ultra with most music coming through either Spotify on the Roku or a folder off a local NAS drive. I have not a concrete issue, but just a feeling that something didnt go well during inital setup of my first Sonos product. So im happy if someone can just confirm the info below:Hi, I just got the Beam (gen2) for my Samsung The Frame (2021), and Im using eARC. I don’t know if I have set the Beam up correctly or not (the manuals online are a little unspecific imo). So I just want to know if everything is correct: 1: When doing the Universal remote setup, the TV didnt recognize the Beam, so I had to type it in. The “power-test” did not work, but the manual online said to just hit yes. So I did. I guess thats correct, because its “always on”?2: The Beam is working; its receiving sound and I can control the volume with my remote. BUT the text to the left on the TV screen does not say Sonos or Beam, but “Receiver HDMI-eARC”, and there is no number to indicate what level the volume is at. Is that the way its meant to be? I have a feeling that somethings off. But could find anything by searc

I've heard some YouTube reviewer state that you can use just 1 rear Era 300 Centrally for rear surround effects (Atmos) with Beam Gen 2 or Arc. Is this correct

Hey all.To say that trying to figure out how to play my records after switching to Sonos has been a nightmare would be an understatement. I can’t seem to figure this damned thing out.I moved to a new condo and downsized and had to kill my onkyo amp and enormous speakers. It was just too cluttered. So I got the Arc, Sub and a couple of Ones for the rear. Great - works perfectly with my Samsung Frame as a surround system!I also got the recommended Sonos Victrola. Went though three of them - the sound was just awful. Massive interference and crackling. Must be something to do with the condo as nothing worked. So that went back.My latest effort is failing. I got an Audio Technica LP120. It has both Bluetooth and USB output. First of all I hoped I might be able to just Bluetooth connect to something… Like my mac or maybe the sonos itself. I have a Beam gen2 paired with a sub gen3. Can I add just one era 300 to this system? Or do I have to buy two?

I’m looking to connect a Lenco LS-300 Black Turntable to my Sonos soundbar, I only have an optical on the soundbar and a L&R on the turntable. Before the trial n error starts to cost me money, can one of you experts out there point me in the right direction please?

Hi all,I have 6 Sonos devices around my home and all have worked fine for a long time.I just got home after a trip and seem to have a glitch with my Sonos Play:5 (Gen 2).Cannot connect to the speaker from within Spotify app. It times out. Intermittently cannot play via the Sonos app and get a variety of error messages like “cannot queue item to the device” or “cannot connect to device”It will play from other sources (Sonos Radio / TuneIn)The device is updated. I have powered the device down, reset it to factory settings, reauthorised Sonos in my Spotify account. Nothing has fixed it so far.Any ideas?thanks so much,Maya
