Equipment:*Xbox Series X*Samsung UN50MU6070 with eARC*HAMDI 2.1 cables*Sonos Arc (A100)Hi all, I'm having trouble setting up dolby atmos for the Xbox. The Xbox is saying the device isn't capable of Dolby Atmos and the TV is saying the Sonos Arc isn't capable of Dolby Digital +. This is weird because I previously had the TV set up with a cheaper SoundCore soundbar that had Dolby Atmos working when the Xbox was plugged directly into the soundbar. I've even tried swapping out the sonos HDMI cord with an HDMI 2.1 cable that I was previously using.Settings:Xbox:HDMI Audio: Dolby DigitalPassthrough AllowedTV:Sound Output: Reciever (HDMI)HDMI Input Audio Format: BitstreamDigital Output Audio: Dolby DigitalAny help is deeply appreciated!

I have many Sonos products throughout my home, including and Arc with Sub and ERA 300’s home theater. I understand that Boost does not support the ERA 300’s. Is it better to simply disconnect my Boost?

When asking to play music from apple music via voice control I get the following answer Apple Music is not activated on your system while it is.anyone has the same issue?

I have a Sonos music system in my house. It is comprised of 16 Sonos connect version 1 units. I have had trouble with the system recently. Some of the connect units seem to have failed all at once. We have purchased new units but they have not all worked either. Is there a known problem that could be causing this? Do you know if there is a hood resource for solving this problem? At this point 9 of the units have stopped working.

Sometimes I put my hand on the inside of the Sub (Gen 3) while playing a bass track to feel the vibration. Is there any risk of damaging it? Or is it pretty sturdy in regards to what I’ve described?

My speaker can be found when I’m in the Sonos app, but doesn’t appear in the Bluetooth/airplay section when I try and play through Spotify or headspace or other apps. It has done in the past so I know it’s possible! I’ve tried restarts of the speaker and my phone etc.

I have a Sonos Move and One. Now planning to setup 2 speaker pairs outdoors and connect them all through the Sonos amp. Can I connect 4 wired (non-Sonos) speakers and the Move and One together through the amp to play music on all together?

We recently bought a new house. At the moment I do not yet own any sonos products. At the moment we mainly use a set of KEF x300A that is in my office that is adjacent to my current living room. We would like a multi-room system in our new house. I have attached an image of the floor plan of the new house. The kitchen and living room on the right have an open connection. I would like to provide the three rooms that I have circled with a system first. Can someone advise us?

My system is built around the original BRIDGE controller and the Play 5 Gen 1 and has since added Play 1’s, Play 3’s, and a Playbar - all before S2 but upgradable. In 2020, I added a Move and downgraded it to be S1 compatible.  I don’t use voice command stuff and basically use the system for music.  It’s worked great I recently bought 3 more MOVES for outdoor use.  Before I downgrade them all to be S1 compatible to use with my current system I want to confirm I can upgrade them back to S2 if/when my Play 5 dies or no longer functions.

just got my pair of Era 300 and set it up as surround for my Arc. After running Trueplay, loud popping sounds on both Era 300 and Arc. I have to turn off the audio source and close the Sonos app to stop the popping sounds. I got the latest firmware. The system works but can’t make use of Trueplay. Any suggestions or same dilemma as me. Thanks.

Losing the will to live here. I Have Sonos Beam Gen2 and I cannot have any sound other than stereo pcm. My tv is PHILIPS - 50PUS7855 50" 4K . I have a hdmi 4k cable. I am using both the standard TV, Netflix and 4k blu Ray player and they're all playing stereo pcm only. I have set the audio to multichannel (bypass). Why is this happening? Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi,I am designing a system incorporating the Sonos Port to a Background Music System. I have searched for technical documents online and unfortunately cannot find the answer I am looking for. My question is: Can I connected Sonos port to a network switch (corporate LAN) and users can connect to Wireless Access points in various rooms? The system will consist of multiple Sonos Ports installed with in the AV rack and to be designated to be used for particular areas with in the building. How can users differentiate which port to connect in any given area? Can we rename each device dedicated to each area or can we hide other Ports and only show Ports for that particular area? As to LAN security, what thing should be considered during setup? Can you please provide configuration documents and other manuals? Thanks RegardsBH

I set up voice match through Google Assistant. on my Sonos One and started having issues, so then turned it off.  Now the Google Assistant  will not play spotify or add to my lists.  It keeps saying to turn on personal results.  When I try to turn on personal results through my phone, it automatically toggles it to OFF again.  I’ve rebooted, deleted, unlinked, relinked etc.  The issue is just sticking.  Please help to fix this Assistant bug.

I keep getting the error “Could not connect Sonos right now. Please try again later.” when trying to connect Sonos to IFTTT.  Any ideas?

Hey Sonos,  It would be so nice to add “turn off surrounds” to our SVC commands.  And/or make it quicker to complete that task in app.  Current process requires 6 touches via sound control and 5 touches via settings.    The morning after movie night is a completely different set up with coffee and soft music.

Hello sonos , currently I have the an issue of a high pitch noise coming from my Sonos playbar , from research it seems to be a transformer issue which I’m trying my hardest to get fixed.  I have found that these Switching Power Supply Inverter Converter Ferrite Core Custom Transformers can be found on aliexpress for about £50 for a pack of 5. sonos have seemed to be reluctant to fix these issues of high Pitch noise from the transformers and as it seems to be that there was a bad batch of switching power transformers that some how worked there way into supply chain during the manufacturing of these playbars. personally I find it quite annoying that you haven’t offered a replacement power supply board for a fixed price etc for users to replace them or something along those lines.  I have been in contact with countless repair shops and companies to fix this issue I have currently.  I am probably going to try and fix it myself but I will be calling Sonos soon to trying and see if there is

win11电脑能读到网络邻居的音乐资源，但sonosAPP添加不了该音乐资源，请问怎样解决？谢谢！ Moderator edit:Google Translate- The win11 computer can read the music resources of Network Neighbourhood, but the Sonos APP cannot add the music resources. How to solve it? Thanks!

Hi, what happened to old fashioned “my library”?Also voice control seems to ignore my voice. Still hear “I can't understand, please use Sonos app” :-(please improve DJ

I am about to purchase an ARC and subwoofer but want to be sure of something.  I currently use a soundbar system from Samsung that connects to the subwoofer and rears on Samsung created 5.8ghz WiFi channel 165.    This worked great for a few years until we moved to a new house with many other homes saturating the upper WiFi channels of 161 and higher, causing the subwoofer and rears to cut out or make noise. If I am reading the SONOS info correctly, as long as I don't connect the ARC by ethernet to my home network the ARC and the subwoofer will connect to my existing home WiFi network and send the sound through that. If I use the ethernet, then it will turn on SonosNet and create its own WiFi which could run into the same interference as the Samsung system I own.  Am I understanding this correctly? I have an ASUS mesh WiFi network with ethernet backhaul. Signal in my home is rock solid in all areas.

Hi. I’ve bought an era 300 to use with a Pro-Ject E1 phono turntable, but can’t get any sound to transmit at all.  My understanding is that the turntable has a built in pre-amp, so I don’t need a separate one, but no joy so far.  Any ideas please?

SAMSUNG OLEDSONOS BEAM GEN2 ERA 100 MINI WOOFERALEXA AND SONOS VOICE ENABLED.Any update on the ability to voice command "tv off" using sonos or alexa voice? The post I see are a few years old. The older post do explain that Samsung has disabled the TV off command. Any work arounds?

In the reference of ““Any idea if this support is planning? Need to separate streaming services between different accounts.

Can anyone recommend streaming movies or shows to play to help me optimize the Atmos sound settings?  More specifically, good content to test “height audio” levels from Disney+, AppleTV or Max. My setup is the new Arc + mini Sub + Amp powered rears in ceiling.  Thanks.

In process of upgrading to S2 and wonder if playlists can be moved or imported? My Sonos playlists do not appear on desktop (Windows) or iPhone S2 apps. Looking on here I see that they are supposed to migrate, so this appears to be a fault.  All playlists are still visible and working in S1 app. Music is stored in iTunes folder on NAS and playlists comprise tracks that are physically present on disk. I have seen there is a third party app that lets playlists be played between S1 and S2 systems but I plan to eliminate S1 devices from the network.
