Is I had my Sonos move connected to my Alexa then the problem with the there's a problem with the Wi-Fi and I reset the sonos and I can't find it on Alexa wrapped to to get everything I need on now I can't connect it from nexor app my son is move so I kind of just Spotify listen to the radio so when I say it isn't the radio it's like it's about to play and it doesn't play the radio station same with Spotify thanks I hope someone can help

Hi all, new to Sonos, and having issues connecting my reconditioned play5 gen1 to S1 app on IOS. also I have a yellow flashing light (not green) as all the instructions say.Can anyone suggest how I can rectify this?

I purchased a Sonos Era 100 at Best Buy. Then I ordered a Sonos Line-In Adapter (from Sonos), but it’s back-ordered and it looks like I won’t receive for a month or more. My question is: If my turntable has a USB-B port (normally used for connecting the turntable to a computer), can I safely use a USB-C to USB-B cable to connect the turntable to the Era 100 (without using the Sonos Line-In Adapter and the RCA to 3.5mm cable)? And will it work?

I cannot see BBC Sounds as a service on my new One SL speakers and the new S2 app… Amazon works but I use Sounds as on my old system. Anyone else have a problem? Thanks.

Hey there,  I bought a New Open Box Sonos Roam from Best Buy and it sounds like it’s playing with a pillow over it. Very muffled sounds. Any idea what could be wrong?  So far I’ve only tried it on Bluetooth 

Hi,  I’ve recently purchased 2 subwoofer mini’s and a ARC soundbar. I can pair one of the subs, but the second one says it doesn’t have any speaker to add. Whats the workaround to fix this? Regards

 I received my Arc and Sub yesterday from best buy.  Had handy person come out today to wall mount ARC and fish wires through wall to back of LG 77 C2 tv.  Sonos Arc and Sub are talking fine with each other, but when I try to pair it to TV through the sonos application it fails and says unable to connect to ARC or something along those lines.  Very very annoying.  I am sure if I contact LG they will say contact Sonos and Sonos will blame LG, etc.   Have read a lot of the knowledge base on here and there seems to be some issues likely going on with the c2 Tvs  and the ARC is this true?  ff so this is a very expensive paperweight as main purpose is to watch this with my TV vs streaming music or other stuff.  I have tried literally everything.  Whether would to turn smartlink on/off, unplug all hdmi’s power cycle it, etc..  Is the c2 and the ARC just not compatible with each other currently?  If so let me know please and will save me time.  Wish I would of read of some of these issues ear

I am having trouble with the hdmi input on the back of my Beam. It’s so loose it loses connection from vibration and then I lose my surround sound. This is the second Beam I’ve had that has this issue. It seems to be a factory defect.Has anyone else experienced a loose hdmi input? How do I resolve?

Hello, I’m a brand-new Sonos owner, and I think I screwed up. My setup:Fluance RT85Schiit Magni preampPort2x Era 100Beam (Gen2)My goal: play my turntable throughout the house and also have surround for my tv.   I now realize this isn’t possible when Eras are set to Surround.  I can live with just the Beam for my TV, but the Eras aren’t as mobile as I’d hoped (require power).   Should I have purchased two Moves instead of two Eras?   I’d love for the functionality of listening to the turntable in my living room and being able to pick up and take the music with me to the kitchen, etc. Will the Moves run into the same can’t use with turntable when set to surround issue?(In my defense, I’m a new dad and I’m very tired.) Thank you!   

Hi, newbie and my first question. Please be gentle.Yesterday I took delivery of a lot of Sonos items, having first bought a Move and a Port. (Port no longer needed). Having connected the ARC to my Sony Bravia tv, model no KD55Af8 using the HDMI and optical adapter, I find that I can increase tv volume with the tv remote but cant take it back down unless I switch off the ARC. I need to have use of the tv remote to be able to change channels. Have I done something wrong? The t.v has an HDMI ARC input, but only an optical output.

I’m going to attempt to set up an “alarm” in an effort to solve my issue with my 1 ½ week old Sonon Port that stops playing music when my amp shuts off then turns back on. If I see it correctly, I can set the start time of the alarm, set the duration of the alarm and select the input audio for the alarm. So I should have music from the Sonos library(alarm source), playing at my alarm start time of 1030am until my 10 hour duration is up. Correct?Here’s the current setup. The Port is connected to the internet via a Cat 5 cable. I’m streaming music from the Sonos app. The Sonos Port outputs to a Shure mixer. The Shure mixer outputs to a QSC CSX 800V amplifier that drives 5 Episode all-weather  70 volt speakers. The speakers provide sound at our large community swimming pool. The music has to be off between the hours of 9pm and 1030am, community rules. I saw no way to turn the Sonos Port, the QSC amp and the Shure mixer off then back on with some setting feature. I recently added a Sub Gen 3 to my home theater setup. I now have an ARC / 2 Fives as surrounds/ and the Sub Gen 3 as my home theater setup. I need help with the settings, all suggestions are welcome. I will NOT be using Trueplay. 1.) Under Sound / EQ - does +4 or -4 equal more bass?2.) Under Sound / Sub Audio - It appears that this setting is for loudness only, is that correct? 3.) What is the difference between the two settings as mentioned above?4.) Just for fun - If someone ask you to turn up the air conditioner, are they asking you to make it cooler or warmer?Thanks in advance for your help.

In the last two weeks the sleep timer is no longer working correctly.  It allows me to select an option but then does not count down linearly and once to zero it is not turning off the music.  Occurred consistently for several days.

I have my weekday alarm set to play Times Radio @ 5am weekday mornings and although the screen is saying that is what is playing, it is actually playing Classic FM ? This has happened 3 times now?

When I follow instructions to add Synology NAS to Sonos App, I never get the ability to click the “next” Button. I tried a few variations of the path/computer name/share name, and even copied and pasted the quick connect ID, but the Next button stays dead and unclickable. What am I doing wrong? Can someone share a specific example of how the path/computername/sharename should read? 

I’m sure this topic has been covered a number of times. However, everyone’s setup is different…. I have several WiFi access points (UniFi) in my home between indoors and outdoors. I also run both S1 and S2. I’m guessing that with the number of AP’s that I have, it may be best to run Sonos on WiFi so that I don’t have 2 additional networks competing for the same 1, 6, and 11 channels…..correct? While the AP’s are physically spread across my home and yard, I can set the AP on one side to channel 1 and the AP on the other side also to channel 1 and they won’t clash. However, with Sonos being meshed across the whole house and yard….I expect it would interfere with any AP that’s always on the same channel.

Hi I hope someone can help me.I have 2 x Connect: Amp (Gen1) linked to ceiling speakers in my home. They run off the Sonos1 app.I have just purchased a Roam speaker with the intention of linking the music indoors and outdoors, however this seems to only work with the newer Sonos app. Every time I try to connect to the roam it knocks me off the Connect:amp system. The new sonos app can not find the older speakers.Is there any way to link these devices and thereby extend my music system outdoors??thanks in advance!

Hi all, thanks in advance for your help. So, my Sonos Arc has starting dropping off after a few seconds when using AirPlay.When I try and cast music from my phone it will play for a couple of seconds and then drop.  CheersDave

Everyone just believes.I don’t care what the problem is but I want to know WHEN this is going to work? What is being done? It is even more frustrating that it works in one country that we live in but not Portugal.

When was arc and sub discounted , Bought them from a store 15 days ago at full price.

I have a Sonos Amp, and as part of my home air conditioning a Google tablet which I’d like to use to control the Sonos Amp.If I download the Sonos app, I need to run an update and get an error code 1101.I’ve called Sonos who said as the tablet doesn’t have a microphone, I need to buy a Sonos speaker with a microphone to set up Google Assistant, which means I can then control it via the Sonos speaker or the Google tablet.This sounds ridiculous to me. Is this right?

I can reach with my iphone and I-pad but Symfonisk lamp doesn’t work with android phone… any suggestion to solve the problem?

Hi folks, looking for a bit of advice with regard to selling on items that may then be used to get a discount on new products.I have a Connect Gen 2 unit that I no longer use. I thought I’d sell it on eBay, hopefully for a reasonable price, and I noticed that enquiries came in from dubious buyers who only seemed interested in seeing the product’s serial number. I realised that if I sent details of the serial number that this could be used to purchase a new product at a discounted price; is this correct? If the serial number is used for this purpose, does that automatically invalidate the original item? I think/hope I’ve avoided being scammed this way, and now wonder if the Connect is now potentially unusable, or will be if the serial number is later used in this way?  I thought I was being clever by not sending picture details on the Connect itself, but of course the number is on the box. 🙄

HiIs it possible to use to use two Era 300 as rear speakers in the surround system and switch them case-by-case as the main music speakers? I feel I will have to decouple and set up the speakers every time I want to listen to music and not use the arc.   i’m asking this question because I think to two 300  solely will sounds better with stereo music compared to full a surround system including the arc, where the 300 will only be providing rear sound. Does that make any sense?So again, is there a simple way to switch the speaker configuration from surround to Era only music set up?
