I’m trying to give my Android Pixel 6 phone access to my Synology 1522 music library. I believe the attached screenshot is where I do that. If so, I can’t get past inputting what I think is the required information. Hopefully one of you will know if that’s true. Regardless of whether what I’m entering is right or wrong, when I click OK, nothing happens. The only option is to click Cancel. Suggestions?

Hi all- I have two era 300 speakers paired with a gen 3 sub for music playback via iPhone. The set up will not trueplay tune, seems like the right speaker isn’t sending out tones as it should be, and when the process fails the right speaker continues to tone as if it is delayed. When playing back music the right speaker often drops out entirely. Both speakers are on the same network. I’ve tried restarting my router and resetting and re-adding both era 300’s. Can’t seem to resolve the issue. Any ideas?

Hey,I've got a Connect Amp which lately has been cutting out, it'll stop playing for a few seconds then continue. If grouped with another room, I can hear the other room continuing while the amp is stopped. The Amp is connected to Ethernet, with it's WiFi disabled, to prevent network loops being a problem (even though I have STP configured on the network, but just disabled it to rule it out for now), so only one device with both Ethernet and WiFi is connected. I don't understand why it's cutting out. It happens on all sources from what I can tell, radio, podcasts, etc. I did a diagnosis just after it happened again for you to look at. Number: 1794230430 Thanks

I have a Playbar and sub that suddenly have stopped working, it may have happened when I had to turn off power to that circuit in my house recently. I see (? + sub) not configured for this room. I’m thinking it sees the sub but not the Playbar? The help article it links me too basically says unplug and replug the products but that isn’t doing anything. I tried adding a new product to get it to reconnect to the Playbar but it can’t find it. It’s plugged in with a solid white light. I should add that I’ve been trying to factory reset by holding down the mute and also trying mute and volume at the same time while plugging it in and it doesn’t do anything, stays a solid white light Moderator edit: combined posts

I recently moved to an apartment. Each apartment has its own ceiling mounted Cisco AP. All AP’s have five (5) SSID’s, one of which is for devices unable to supply a username along with the password. That SSID uses a pre-configured MAC address to permit access. The Arc attempts to connect to the first SSID it finds and that isn’t the SSID with the MAC address. I have no way to force the ARC to connect to the correct SSID. I’m thinking I need a bridge of some sort, have the ARC connect to the bridge, and configure the bridge to connect to the correct SSID. Does this sound like a viable solution? Any recommendation for a specific product?

In the last week my Sonos One stereo pair running Google Assistant has started giving me this message frequently when I request to play, pause, resume or stop something. Sometimes it’s stuck on this error - I can ask it repeatedly and keep getting the same response. That’s very annoying when it’s playing a stream and I’m telling it to STOP!!!Google Assistant itself is not affected as far as commands not involving Sonos streaming - it only affects media streams starting or stopping.The Sonos app is unaffected. Even when GA is refusing to start or stop a music stream repeatedly because “Sonos is not available”, the Sonos app has no problem doing it, and correctly shows the streaming status of the speaker.I can also ask my nearby Echo Dot to play or stop music on Sonos, and it works fine.So which side is at fault here, Google or Sonos?At one point I tried unplugging and replugging the primary Sonos One speaker of the pair. I have a Sonos port that I’m trying to connect with my turntable. My goal is to play the music on turntable on my two Sonos Five speakers wirelessly. Can this be done? I know I can connect one of the Sonos five directly to the turntable with RCA and 3.5mm cable, but my turntable is not near the Sonos five speaker. I’m not sure Sonos five can be access via the Sonos port wirelessly? If it can, then I can connect my turntable to the port and listen them on the five’s. Pls let me know. Thanks.

We have had an Arc SL for several months. Once it got warmer, and our central AC unit started kicking on, we noticed that the sound would cut out any time the AC came on. Facts from testing: source doesn’t matter; TV, appleTV, AirPlay from phones, even if that’s all off and Sonos Radio is playing. If the AC kicks on, the if the TV is on we see the volume drop to 0. Wait 10-15 seconds, and we can turn it back up. If airplay, the audio stops and it looks like it’s disconnected from the source. If Sonos radio, the song just stops and volume has dropped.    We thought it might be a signal from the central AC (ie wireless signal/interference from the thermostat), but we had the whole unit and thermostat replaced 3 days ago (yay for AC breaking in the middle of the summer) and it’s still happening, even with the new old-school wired thermostat.    I’ve connected the Sonos power to an external battery, and it happens with that, too (ie isn’t subject to power surge from the AC). thoughts?

Hi allI just purchased a Sonos Move and I've been asking for a song via voice to play on YT music premium.Eg. OK Google, play Pearl Jam - Alive. This plays the song no problems however once the song finishes the music just stops.  Can the Sonos keep playing other random similar music like my Google Home mini does. Is there some kind of setting to enable or Sonos doesn't do this natively?  I’ve seen a topic 2 years ago but there was no resolution in there.

Hi all,I am running a playbase with 2 1s as surround with a mid-tier 4 year old Samsung tv. I’d love to be able to watch bluerays and dvds on my setup, but in the past it has seemed to be impossible to do.Does anyone know of a blueray player that would allow me to do this? Ideally I’d be able to watch with DTS or DD, but really anything that would give me DD or something resembling surround sound when I do it would do.Thanks

Hi,I have quite happily played my music, stored on a Synology 218+, on both Play 5 and Play 1 for several years. I updated the Sonos S1 app on my Windows 10 PC today. Things were fine initially, but when I added a couple of folders to Music Library I got the dreaded “access denied” message when attempting to listen on Play 5.Having had a similar problem a few years ago, I started ploughing through “access denied” solutions, to no avail.What baffles me, though, is that I can successfully listen on Play 1 to music stored in the same library (using the same app on the same PC). How can that be?I should add that the same problem exists when using my Android phone, i.e.access denied for Play 5, fine for Play 1A.

I have a broken beam gen1 Sonos have agreed to replace.  Will they replace with a gen 2?

Can anyone please confirm the diameter (ideally in cm) of the circular base of the Sonos Era 300 floor stands? The measurement is not given on the Sonos website and, somewhat unbelievably, Sonos customer service tell me that they don’t have the measurement so can’t tell me. Thank you.

I am looking at the Pro-Ject Debut III SB turntable and connecting it to a pair of Play:5 gen 2 speakers via line-in.  Is this possible and will the stereo channels from the turntable be maintained? Can the two speakers create a stereo pair with a line-in input?  And if so, would this be done by sending two separate (left vs right channel) mono cables, one to each speaker from the turnable preamp?  Or by sending a single line-in cable that combines the L/R outputs from the turntable, which then gets “reconverted” into left and right channels for the stereo paired speakers? I would rather not spend the extra money on a port or connect since this would be the only use for me. Thanks for considering this!

I have had a recurring problem pretty much since Day 1 with the error message ‘No search results found. No services set up on your system’. I currently, and have always, used Spotify which works seamlessly from a streaming perspective, plus when the search actually works.Once i force close the app (iOS) and re-open, the search works again. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling etc.My current set up isBoostBeamAmp (2 x Sonos One as surrounds)Five OneI have searched the forums and can’t see anyone having this problem before. The constant need to quite the app and re-open is quite annoying!Any help appreciated 

This morning my app informs me that BBC 6 Music is no longer available on BBC sounds on Sonos. (I have checked and other BBC stations no longer work).  It was working perfectly fine until about 10am.

My Sonos MOVE has been connected to my network for 3years… then all of a sudden (for whatever reason) last week it disappears from my network. I have SEVERAL Sonos products and each of them have all been (and are still) connected w/no issues. I’ll add that I’m able to Bluetooth to the device just perfectly fine.Going thru the setup - Sonos app sees the MOVE, goes thru the motions as if it’s going to add it back to the network only to end in an error of “There was a problem connecting your Sonos Move”.I’ve completed all of the recommended troubleshooting steps of unplugging my router, etc… and I’m stuck in this loop of ultimately ending back at the same error msg.Attempts at a factory reset have not gotten me back to a flashing green light.  Am open to suggestions at this point.Thanks!

I have had this issue for a long time playing music from my music library from the S2 app on any ios device (iphone, ipad) the artwork doesn’t show in the now playing box while playing from one song to the next.  If I press pause the artwork immediately shows.S1 app works fine with no issues (I downgraded one of my speakers to test) as well as desktop app, but the ios with the S2 app has this issue.Is this a bug with the app?  Is there anything I can do to fix?  It works with S1, but I read that S1 is using SMB1 whereas S2 can use SMB2 or higher? It’s so annoying not to see the artwork of the song that is playing, any help or insight on what would be causing this would be great. I also read several other similar problems on here, but I don’t see any definitive fix. Router = Netgear Nighthawk with Attached storage via USB to the router.Thanks

I noticed that my sonos player can display current track info for PLS Streams, but not for HLS streams. Is there a way to make it work for HLS streams too? What needs to happen on the broadcasting end and/or the SMAPI end to display current track info?

Hi everyone, I’ve been playing bbc sounds through my beam and ones for ages but today it wouldn’t play error showing was- ‘radio 2’ is no longer available on bbc sounds. it will play through airplay from the bbc sounds app however. I’ve reauthorised my bbc sounds account and it signed in fine. Got me baffled
