Hello community,  I've got a play 1 and play 3 and I'm having issues connecting it as a stereo pair. They are under the same Wi-Fi and also up to date with the latest software and app. Any assistance or tips you have?

I made some upgrades to my network and noticed that my Sonos speakers drop from the AirPlay (and Spotify connect) list. If I unplug them they’ll reappear only to drop after a few hours. They are always listed and available using the Sonos app and TIDAL. Old network with standard wifi router - works fineModem > TP-Link Archer C7 (running openwrt) New network with a wireless access point - suffers AirPlay dropsModem > MikroTik RB750Gr3 router > TP-Link EAP245 v4 I’ve also tried this combination to rule out the MikroTik, but it also suffers from AirPlay dropsModem > TP-Link Archer C7 (wifi turned off) > TP-Link EAP245 v4 This leads me to believe that the speakers aren’t playing nice with the TP-Link EAP245 access point. The wireless access point is using a basic stock configuration, nothing fancy like vlans, just a 2.4g SSID and 5g SSID configured. I’ve tried numerous things over the last few days, but haven’t had any luck. Can anyone help? 

Just purchased an ERA 100 and Roam.  As I already have a gen 1 setup with multiple Sonos devices, I created a 2nd Sonos account/system for the ERA 100 and Roam.  I can successfully stream Pandora, SiriusXM and Sonos Radio to both devices with no problems.  However, when I try to stream my Apple Music Library to either device, most songs are highly distorted - sound is muted, vocals are very faint.I don’t actually own an Apple Music account - I simply use it to locally store my music which consistes of ripped vinyl and CDs ( > 800 songs ).  I’ve noticed that songs in the library encoded as MP3s stream OK, but those encoded as m4a - AAC codec, 44,100 sampling rate, 32 bit sample depth, Apple MPEG-4 Audio (m4a) container - are distorted.  Sonos says this format is supported, but my experience says otherwise.   I have the latest IOS versions on an iPhone 13 and the latest Ventura on an M1 MacBook Pro.  Further, my entire music library streams flawlessly from either IOS or Ventura to my

I have Beam and 1x One and I can connect to TV each other.However, when activate the TV, only Beam can synchronize the audio.I need to enable One's checkmark from the playback source screen to connect One to TV. Is there a way to automatically link Beam and One to the TV each time?Do I need to buy an extra ONE and set up surrounds to do this?

How do I sync my sonos computer playlist to my sonos iphone playlist?

I am about to replace a Bose Home Speaker 500 with Sonos. And here begin all my doubts...I live in a studio of 30 square meters and I use the speaker to listen to music mainly. I give importance to bass, although I don't have the budget for a Sub Mini yet.With a budget of around 500/600 Euros, I have the doubt of whether to start buying a Sonos Era 300 or two Sonos Era 100. For comfort and space at home, a single Sonos Era 300 is better for me today, but I want to invest in a Sonos system that is worth expanding in the future.I'm not the first person to ask about this, but I'm not clear on the answers. Maybe it's better to buy a single Era 300 and invest in a few years in a [second Era 300] instead of buying [two Era 100s today + Beam (2nd Gen) in the future]?Thank you!

I'm looking for some feedback from anyone that's using the Era300s mainly for music listening...I currently have the Arc, Sub Gen3 and 2 Era 300s in my living space but we don't watch much TV to tell you the truth and although it sounds pretty good for music content I feel the Arc lacks for music playback. Plus listening to just the Era 300s in a stereo pair isn't that fair away in terms of performace for music..... So I'm going to change my set up and try to get something that really makes the Atmos content shine. I have a big open plan house and I've tested the pair of 300s with the Sub but I think it's just overkill on the bass so I'm considring two options.....2 x Era 300s stereo paired with the Sub Mini or 4 x Era 300s (2 stereo pairs grouped together)Has anyone tried any of these combos? What's it like have two stereo pairs grouped together?Cheers, Chris

I like classical music and am used to a short silence between tracks but Sonos seems to merge each track with the end of the previous track.  How can I make a gap between tracks?  I have Sonos Play 5 speakers but feel this is an issue in the software.

Hello,I have a new Sonos system installed in my home.  I play mp3 files held on a Windows PC using iTunes Playlists.I have been able to access ALL of my iTunes playlists on my iPhone13.  However, there are too many.  It takes a long time to scroll through them all to reach the lower letter of the alphabet.I would prefer to store a limited number (10-20) of my playlists in the Sonos app on my phone.  This will make accessing these 20 playlists easier and speedier.  When I change my listening interest, I will change the 20 playlists stored in the Sonos app on the iPhone.Is there a way to store “selected playlists” rather than “all playlists” in the Sonos app on an iPhone?

We are starting to finish our basement and want to add ceiling speakers to listen to music or to enhance our television audio during movies/football games/etc.  A couple of questions:Do we need an amp?  There is no existing system down there.  We weren’t sure if the speakers were simply Bluetooth and hooked up to the app/TV or if we needed the amp? How many in-ceiling speakers would you need for a 200 square foot room?Thank you!

Hello,I have a new Sonos system in my home, and I am learning how to use it.I use Sonos to play mp3 files stored on a Windows PC organized using iTunes connected to Sonos using Wifi.From the Sonos app on the Windows PC I have done Manage / Update Music Library Now a few times. From the Sonos desktop app there is a section entited Select A Music Source / Music Library / Imported Playlists.  This is the section that allows me to access and play my many iTunes playlists.  However, all my playlists which begin with A through M are available, but playlists which begin with N to Z are not available.Does anyone know why the latter letters of the alphabet have not been found using the Update Music Libraray function.  I can see them in iTunes, but I cannot see them in the Sonos app (and thus cannot play them from the PC).The total number of playlists is well below the Sonos maximum.  What else could be the issue? 

I have updated my country address to the UK. I’ve closed the app logged out and back in and still don’t see it as a service. Can anyone help please?

I’ve had Sonos for quite a while and I just added the Tidal 30 day trial in hopes of getting better quality audio.  I ca see the songs and playlist in Sonos but when I try to play them I get this error message:  “An error occurred while adding tracks to the Queue (701)“

Does anybody know whether there is a way to truncate the folder path displayed in the Music Folder section when you browse using the S2 app on a phone? The full path from my NAS drive is sometimes displayed in capitals, and that restricts how much of the path is visible on my phone. It’s not much better if the path is displayed in lower case (the display seems to be completely random even if I type it in lower case). Hopefully this gives some idea of the problem:  

Apparently I have a branded YouTube account and another with same sign in. With the branded account it does not show any library but the second does. Any ideas?Thanks

Hi there, I couldn’t find a fitted answer, but why is the sonos arc copying my 5ghz channel with the same as my router and why isnt it selectable for the user to reduce traffic interference?I changed my router a few times but the arc moves with the same channel all the time.I know a lot of people who have there router neer the tv and soundbar so know you cross the signals within 2 meters, with that great bandwidth there is a wide choice to pick a other channel. thanks in advance. greets. thomas

I have an older Sonos Play 3 speaker (like the one in the picture). I cannot find any information online to tell me if it should have Bluetooth or not. I recognise it is mainly a ‘me’ thing unable to find the answer….can anyone let me know how I find out? 

Speakers and sub go in and out 

Frequently (about once a day) when using the Sonos controller on an Ipad to search for music, I get the "no services set up on your sonos system" error message, even though I have multiple services and a music library set up.  The only way I know to fix it is to reset, close, and reopen the app.  (This usually works pretty quickly, but can lead to a cascade of problems if Sonos decides to be glitchy about re-connecting to my system.)  Why does this keep happening and how can I make it stop?  And, yes, my Sonos controller is up-to-date.

Hi. About to move to an apartment with the following layout. the only place the TV can go is circled red and where the couch can go is in blue. I'm concerned about losing one of the surrounds from the era 300s due to one side having no wall at all and extending to the other side of the apartment. Any tips on how to mitigate this when I move? My thought was to place a bookshelf in that area, next to that era 300, so as to create something that sound can bounce off of. 

Hi, I currently have the Sonos Arc, Gen 3 Sub, and a pair of One rear speakers. My question is, can I add an additional speaker to the rear surround? Is it possible to add the Era 300 to support the pair of  One rear surround speakers. Basically, have the Era 300 serve as a center rear speaker. The ERA 300 will produce the Atmos experience and the two One speakers will be forward rear sound. Or should I remove the pair of One speakers and add two Era 300 speakers. My idea is to not have the original purchase of the One speakers become obsolete.Thanks for your support Sonos community!

Examining a choice for Sonos upgrade and wondering about the following set-up in the main living room:-Arc and Sub-mini for TV AV or possibly Sub if Sub Mini is not a good match for the Arc.Amp to deliver music to conventional speakers. My question is can a single Sonos sub be made to work (seamlessly) with the Arc when watching TV (80% of use) and then work with music from the Amp when listening to Sonos music (TV switched off).I see that neither Sonos sub has a wired subwoofer audio input, so I wonder if this is not possible.I do have a hi-fi style subwoofer which could easily be used with the AMPbut I then end up with two subs in the living room. That is unless the ARC is good enough to be used on it’s own without any additional sub (which seems like a compromise to me).Thanks as always for the great advice and experience shared here.

I was getting this error from time to time, but now I'm getting it on 3/4 of songs... Seems random, as sometimes a song that was working fine would refuse to play and start showing this error (or vice versa). My music source is YouTube Music. I've tried rebooting the speaker, reinstalling te app, rebooting the Wi-Fi router, etc. Also tried using an ethernet cable instead of Wi-Fi.
