problems with a non compatible speaker which blocks update to S2

I have bought  New speakers and Updated to S2. One of the speakers is now deemed in compatible

and it blocks updates. Also I can’t disconnect it since my original app now immediately transfer me to S2

Not sure I understand your post completely. You should be able to unplug the S1 speaker, use the S2 app to connect to the S2 speaker without issue.

Conversely, you should be able to unplug the S2 speaker, leaving the S1 speaker plugged in, run the S1 app, and connect to it without issue. 

What speaker do you have which is complaining that it’s S1 and needs an update?
