I know it won’t pair Bluetooth but that doesn’t matter to me. But I would like to set up a stereo pair for use in my backyard. A related question: Could I set up a Move 1 and 2 as surrounds with my Beam 2?I understand if it’s possible I’d have to go through set up procedures whenever I change from one to the other, but that’s fine since it won’t be frequent.

I recently ordered a replacement Outdoor speaker. The replacement only had two wire terminals. Then I checked and the existing had four.  It will not function with just the two but I do not see a product with four wire terminals?

Back again with my questions….and today it goes like this:  There was a little bird flying pass my ears who mention something bout the Sonos Ray could be used as a surround-speaker and intentionally it could be placed in a vertical position. And that somehow COULD produce the “missing” up-fireing speaker in a Beam G2/Arc config. Of course you need two Ray’s like any other surround-speaker if you wondered. Is this possible?

My system is constantly losing connection with Amazon, despite the fact I was quite happily using it the day before 🤷

Can Sonos Playbar volume be controlled with an Amazon Firestick? I suspect not because the stick is Bluetooth and the Playbar isn’t, but I thought that as the stick controls TV volume and the Playbar is connected to the TV, then there should be a way around it. I’ve also asked on the Amazon forum

In the last two weeks, my app freezes whenever I try to adjust any alarm.I can toggle an alarm off or on, but cannot adjust the alarm, delete and alarm or create a new alarm.Would prefer not to “reboot devices” as we have many installed in hard to reach locations.Happens on multiple iOS devices, so it’s not a phone storage issue.

My sonos one alarm keeps glitching, it’s set to just the standard chime and when it plays it just intermittently cuts out whilst playing the alarm? I’ve turned the speaker on and off multiple times but it’s only been doing this very recently. No other issues with any functions at all.

Hi,  My Sonos Roam does not respond to my Alexa commands when I request a specific podcast. I had this issue previously so set a fixed IP for the Roam.If I speak to my Alexa devices and ask them to play on my Sonos speakers (Symfonisk and Roam) it does this no problem, so I suspect there is an issue with Sonos/Alexa integration NOT the network...

So Ive been having issues where my sound cuts in and out on  my 300s when paired with my arc and sub in stereo mode.   It was recommended to me by someone who works at best buy to buy a sonos boost and that should fix the connectivity issue.  I later read online that if you plug in a speaker to the router itll do the same.  So Im wondering whats going to work the best.

I used to use Tidal and it worked fine. I switched to another streaming service for a while but left Tidal in the Sonos list of services. Yesterday I resubscribed to Tidal and it worked fine. Today it will not stream to Sonos. I have removed Tidal from the list and tried to re-add it but get an error message "something went wrong". Having read some other answers  I have checked my Tidal login details and changed the password but cannot add Tidal to the list of services. Any suggestions please? All other streaming is working. This applies to both phone and tablet (both Android).

Hi all, I have the Sonos 2.1 amp and want to add a sub woofer to the Bose 251 outdoor environmental speakers. The Bose speakers are not wireless and on the back of the amp there is a single rca plug labeled sub. So do I need a passive or powered sub to connect to this amp? 🤔 Also any suggestions for an outdoor sub would be awesome!ThanksPhil

Hello!  we are planning to install 4 speakers ( 2 stereo pairs ) to  private gym. There is going to be between 100 to 200 users and is possible to use system by their own sonos app without registering and if they wanna play all music from Spotify or Apple Music is this possible?

I have a simple home theatre setup consisting of a Beam Gen 2 and a pair of Symfonisk speakers which I’m happy with for TV and music streaming. Now I’m thinking of adding a pair of Era 100s connected to a turntable to replace my old analog HiFi setup. My question is how will the Era 100s interface with the existing setup? I’m planning to position the Era 100s as a traditional stereo pair in front of the listening position and was wondering if the turntable input to the Eras could also play through the Beam and the Symfonisk speakers simultaneously? Also, would the Era 100s be able to ‘join’ the existing home theatre setup not as surrounds (I’d still use the Symfonisk pair for surround sound), but as front left and right speakers either side of the Beam? Finally, when streaming music, can the Beam, Symfonisk and Era 100s work together simultaneously? Thanks in advance for any answers

I receive the following error while trying to reconnect to my iHeart account.

Hi there,I posted about a month ago that my Roam was losing contact with my Sonos system and finally it wouldn’t connect at all. I was given a few things to try, like resetting, recharging etc. All I get from it when I try to recharge it is the orange light. When it was sitting on the wireless recharger there wasn’t any light that came on. So I used the original cable with a wall charger and I got the orange light. The button on the Roam doesn’t do anything. Right from day one that button seemed really shallow. Almost flush with the body of the speaker. And when I first got it I felt like I was pressing the button too much. But I think I used it for about a year and I kept it on the wireless charger in my bedroom. In the summertime I’d put it in the top of my backpack and take it outside. I’m in a wheelchair and the backpack is on the back of my chair. I’d take it outside on my patio and I usually wander around my big yard, picking weeds or working on the garden. Or I’d just sit back a

Hi just out of the blue my sonos five keeps jumping , it was perfectly working before . It’s Wi-Fi connection my set up has states it’s excellent . I have tried adjusting the audio delay options but still doesn’t work .

I have an Era 100 speaker with a turntable connected via line in.  I group the era 100 with a Play1 and the records play through both speakers as expected (and sounds great).  Shortly after one side of the record ends, the 2 speakers become ungrouped.  This happens every time.   So, when I go to flip the record, I also have to re-group the 2 speakers again.  It is quite annoying :(

Good Morning,If I may, I have just a question:If I connect 2 ONE SL as surround speakers to my Sonos Beam (Gen 2), overall could work with Dolby Atmos or will work just on 5.1?Thanks

I’ve come to own a Playbar and several Sonos One speakers for free through a friend. I was thinking of adding a Sub mini but I am worried about the life spans of these products. Sonos claims they will support products for 5 years after end of sale dates.Sonos seems to have stopped selling playbar around 2020 So that’s already 3 years. If I buy a sub mini I would be buying into an ecosystem with only 2 years left on the Playbar? (I can’t find end of sale dates for Sonos One).Just want to confirm if my understanding / math is correct here. And to find out the end of support day for Sonos One speakers. P.S.: I’m new here so apologies if this info is easily available.

I just set up my new era 300 and tried to run quick tuning. I received an error that stated that it was not supported on my iPad Pro 12.9” 6th gen.I wanted to do a quick tuning which uses the microphone on the era 300 but there’s no way to initiate it. Has anyone else had this problem and have a possible resolution?

I have a few speakers grouped and only some are playing. The troubling issue is the controller looks as if all are playing but many - including part of a sub/era 100 pair - have no audio. I have stopped and restarted playback with no luck. This occurs while playing a station from Amazon Music (basic access w/Prime membership) and on a Sonos Era 100 + Sub, a Move 1, a Roam 1, a Play:3 and Symphonisk picture frame speakers all grouped. Diagnostics no. 1636438787

Dear community,My family consists of me (father), my wife and my two sons. We have SONOS speakers all over the house, among them Play One’s in my kid’s rooms. We all have the SONOS S2 app installed on our individual iPhones, and each of us is logged into his or her own respective account of Apple Music Family, also being logged in to each one’s individual account of the Apple Music Family service on each one’s SONOS app. The SONOS system is registered to me.Obviously, we want to prevent that our four different music tastes are mixed. All works fine as long as the (Apple Music or SONOS) apps are used. Even when started by everyone’s SONOS app, the library, “recently played” section and music suggestions on the Apple Music accounts do not mix, it’s all allocated to the right account. Now enter voice control. My sons have Sonos One’s in their rooms and I understand that only one Apple Music account can be allocated to the houshold’s Alexa. Then we tried Sonos Voice Control and initially go

When trying to add Apple Music it asks for a Filepath. Where do I get this? (A grey haired dinosaur)

Hi, Looking for some help with getting sound via my Roam connected to my turntable.  This is the setup I’m using: Rega Turntable > Pro-Ject Phono Box E BT 5 via RCA cables > Sonos Roam SL over bluetooth.. The issue I have is that it pairs successfully but I get no sound via the Roam.  I can confirm there is no issue with the pro-ject preamp, it works OK if I connect a different speaker to it via bluetooth.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  Is it perhaps a codec issue? Thanks
